DO NOT BUY
DO NOT BUY! SCAM This company is incredibly shady. If your clothes work out, you are lucky, if they don't. Your money is gone. They will continually claim to have sent your refund, then ask for 5 more days, then claim an It glitch, allow 24 more hours, 48 more hours, send your original order confirmation, ask for your email again, your refund was sent, allow 5 more days, IT glitch, 24 more hours. The point is to exhaust you until you give up and they keep hundreds of dollars.
Avoid
Terrible in every way. Paid £200 for a dress that came in a bag the size of a sandwich bag and was so creased it was more crease than dress! I returned it and 20 days after returning I have still not received a refund. I also unchecked all the spam boxes but have received marketing emails every day since the purchase. I keep trying to unsubscribe. Avoid.
Every refund requires you to chase
I spent over £500 with this company in April and needed to return approximately £300 worth of items.
The returns process includes a small, easily missed option asking whether you want a refund to your original payment method or store credit via e-vouchers. Unfortunately, I missed this and was automatically issued vouchers instead of a refund.
That aside, what followed has been an exhausting and frustrating experience.
I first had to chase the vouchers because they never arrived. Customer service insisted they had been sent, but they were nowhere to be found—not in my inbox, spam folder, or junk mail.
As I didn't want £300 tied up in store credit, I reluctantly used the vouchers. Unfortunately, the replacement items weren't suitable either, so I returned them.
Weeks passed. No new vouchers arrived. I chased again.
The response? Exactly the same. I was told the vouchers had been sent and advised to check my spam and junk folders. Once again, there was nothing there.
What makes this even more frustrating is that there is no telephone support. As an online-only company, customers are left with no way to speak to a real person when something goes wrong. I also question how accessible this approach is for vulnerable customers who may struggle with lengthy online correspondence.
Months later, I'm still doing the legwork to find out where my money is. A refund or voucher should not require this much chasing, and being repeatedly told something has been sent when they clearly haven't is incredibly frustrating.
The repeated delays, missing vouchers, and difficulty obtaining a refund create the impression that keeping customers' money for as long as possible is built into the process. I can't say whether that's actually the case, but it's certainly how this experience has felt from a customer's perspective.
Based on my experience, I would think very carefully before ordering, particularly if there's any chance you'll need to make a return. A straightforward refund process should not take months, multiple follow-ups, and this much effort from the customer.

Although KM has a good quality in their clothes, my last experience was not good in terms of a return. They have 2 sites allowing you to choose either UK or EU, and even though i made an order via the EU portal, ALL the returns are in the UK, and it is not stated in KM website, which misleading the customers. That means that the customer has to pay the customs clearance and thereturn fee, as the parcel will be returned to a non EU country. BE Careful customers!
AVOID!!!
AVOID!!!! Purchased a swimming suit in the sale at £34. Waited such a long time then they refunded me £23! When I queried they have charged me for a SEEL protection £2.99 which I didn't agree to, a £4.00 return fee and £3.99 super saver service! Ive reported this to Trading Standards. Absolutely shocking! Plenty other places to purchase high quality goods and not be treated like this! And no Karen Millen don't come back and try to justify any of this. I wouldn't give your company another penny and recommend to others to do the same!

What’s really disappointing is the returns process. It feels really slow, and there’s been zero communication about my refund. The parcel was delivered back to you nearly 10 days ago, and I’ve still not had any confirmation or update. There’s nothing showing on my account either, which is worrying.
It’s also frustrating that the only way to contact customer service is by email and then you’re just left waiting. When you’re paying premium prices, you expect a much better level of service than this.
Overall, the whole experience has been quite disappointing.

Impossible to get a human to connect
Impossible to get a human to connect. Emails are not dealt properly as whoever answers these has no access to your account! Ask umpteen questions, can’t see screenshots, can’t find order numbers and you end up with the most frustrating experience! And as for REFUNDS - zero chance of seeing anything until a month or more after chasing them up - each time order not found. DIABOLICAL

Jade was very helpful with my query today very prompt and efficient.
I received a beautiful crystal embellished top but it arrived slightly damaged due to the nature off the material.
Jade helped me with the order and sent a replacement straight away.
Shysters!
What a pity. I use to love Karen Millen and now they sold out to a shyster company called Boohoo. Buyer beware. Unfortunately I didn’t learn this until after my purchase. Not only did they not deduct the 20% that should have been applied with the code I entered, they also added a “shipping protection” charge of $13.53. So in addition to my $16.16 shipping charge (that I was willing to pay), I also have this additional charge. Apparently there is a box that THEY conveniently check for customer and I needed to uncheck the box in order for them not to apply. Who has time for all this? I will never ever buy from them again. I did reach out to the company…. they aren’t sure why the 20% wasn’t applied but stated they cannot apply it at this time. I’ve read that the quality isn’t what it use to be. Time will tell when I get my $250 dress with the almost $30 shipping charge!

I purchased a dress that zip was damaged, it couldn’t pull up and got stuck and I did a return and I was told to upload a photo onto website called Seel but they only deal with the transit of the package. I ask for the photo I uploaded and they said they can’t retrieve it. Now due to this I’m charged for the return and it’s just an ordinary refund minus the return fee. Customer service are saying without the photo they can’t reimburse the return fee. Which says they don’t look at the return item when it goes to the warehouse
I ordered a size 16 sent wrong size no postage refund!
I ordered a size 16, they sent me a 6. I returned immediately, tracked. They refused to refund my postage for sending to me and returning it to them. They said they had no proof it was the wrong size even though they received it back. Dreadful customer service, mainly automated. They are so obviously part of Boohoo now, as their service has gone downhill. I will never use them again. Which saddens me, as there dresses are lovely.
Avoid their prescription glasses
I got prescription Karen Millen gold glasses from specsavers. I’ve only had them a year and the gold has worn off and now the metal underneath rubs off my skin and I have a rash now. I have to buy new glasses now. Cheap materials and does not last long. Plenty of batter quality glasses out there! Avoid at all costs!
Incorrect online image
I ordered a dress online for a garden party. The image of the vibrant black and floral dress was amazing. It was knee length and looked perfect for my needs. Very disappointingly, when it arrived, not only was it massive due to very heavy material, it was also a 'ball gown' length! The image very much misrepresented the item. I was hugely disappointed and even more so when I found I had to pay to return it! On contact Karen Millen customer services, not only did they not read my email they have refused to refund me the returns fee. They bombard me with emails with discounts to buy items but I will be ignoring these going forward!
Terrible Customer Service
Extremely disappointing customer service from Karen Millen.
I recently purchased a hat that was significantly smaller than advertised and did not match my reasonable expectations based on the product description and images. When I contacted customer services for assistance, I dealt with an agent called Ryan who was completely unhelpful throughout the process.
I explained my concerns and referred to my rights under UK consumer legislation regarding goods that may not be as described. However, my concerns were not addressed, and no meaningful explanation or assistance was provided. Instead, I was simply told that I would need to pay to return the item myself.
As a customer purchasing from what is marketed as a premium brand, I expected a much higher standard of customer care and a willingness to properly investigate my complaint. Instead, I was left feeling dismissed and frustrated.
The issue was not just the product itself but the poor handling of a legitimate customer concern. Based on my experience, I would be cautious about purchasing from Karen Millen and would recommend that customers familiarise themselves with their consumer rights before doing so.
Very disappointing experience.
Misleading cpmpany!
Very disappointed with Karen Millen. The company feels misleading and lacking in transparency.
I recently purchased an item and subsequently returned it, that they deduct from refund for something called "Seal Worry-Free Purchase Protection". I have no recollection of knowingly selecting this service during checkout and was shocked to find that I had been charged for it.
If optional services are being offered, they should be made extremely clear to customers and require an active decision to opt in. As a customer, I feel misled by this experience and have completely lost trust in the brand.
I have disputed the charge and requested a refund. Based on this experience, I will not be shopping with Karen Millen again and would caution other customers to check their checkout and refund details very carefully.
Customer service not good
Customer service not good. I ordered a coat that when it arrived was in a full length plastic bag with a hanger and properly folded, unfortunately I had to return it as it didn’t fit. I ordered a replacement and this one arrived very badly folded and completely crammed into a too small bag so was very creased. First communication with customer service was an apology and suggestion I return it. I went online to order a replacement to find the promo code on the app which is placed running across the top of the page didn’t work.
I contacted customer services again, explained that I felt I should be able purchase a replacement coat for the one they acknowledged wasn’t packed to their normal standard for the same price. (Also stated the advertised promo code didn’t work. )
Apparently not. A brand new coat delivered extremely creased isn’t classed as faulty so the price cannot be honoured.
I have to agree with many other reviews that KM customer service isn’t a priority.
Disappointing….
Really bad
Really bad! Karen Millen lets third party sellers sell through the Karen Millen website. If you have to return anything from the same one order, each item has to be sent back to a different address, and they charge you £4.00 for each item!!!! Not only misleading but an actual theaft! My strong advice is to avoid purchasing from Karen Millen.
