Ordered an indian and waited and hour and a half for it to arrive only to receive a text to say my order had been cancelled. Rang just eat where there was zero satisfaction. I was offered a €5 voucher for the inconvenience. This was a €70 order!!!! But the maximum they could offer was €5. An absolute shambles of a "company"

I am in the hospitality industry myself and never really review when something bad happens as I know mistakes are made. I am writing this as tonight was the second time our order never made it to our house but they took our money. Twice before we also had items missing. Refunds were given but someone needs to be held accountable. We just came back from a 3 week holiday and we make use of JustEats for convenience which it is the opposite! We now have money deducted from our account for many days and still have to find food somewhere on a Banking holiday? Really bad

I would be lost without Just Eat. Tired after a long day, open the app, find a restaurant near me, order and either collect or get it delivered. If there is ever a problem they get it sorted asap

Very rude.My food didn’t arrive and the app was showing it was delivered.I called customer service and a rude man answered.He gave us our credit back but said we wasted his time at the end of the call, he was very dismissive horrible customer service!!!

Had an order with an restaurant in Dublin, paid €55 and after 2 hours the driver just came to the door, asking my wife abusive to give him the code and he didn’t even had the food! This is ridiculous!! I’ve chat with just eat about this and they decided to solve this problem by refunding the money in 5-7 days. After spending all the money from the card, no food and still hungry. And they closed the chat couldn’t even get back to chat with them to try to sort it differently…so be careful when you choose your delivery service, as a business or someone that just want to eat something you might get in a situation where you are left with no food and no money…i would give 0 stars for that of would be possible!

Great choices, app is easy to use

I find Just Eat.ie very good. On one occasion my meal was not delivered and Just Eat refunded me that time and delivered correctly when I ordered from another restaurant that evening. I appreciated that as I had no other way of going out for food that particular time. Generally deliveries have been prompt. I would probably like a few more restaurant choices in my area but I like the 2 or 3 I usually choose.

When your food is wrong/cold/inedible they’ll refund the food part, but keep their “service fee” and delivery. Borderline scammers. Avoid

Used to be great, but something has clearly changed.
I’d avoid this company. Drivers aren’t held accountable, as Just Eat refers to them as “service providers” rather than taking responsibility for them. Orders are regularly marked as delivered when they haven’t been, and there’s no effective complaints process.
I’ve had three orders in a row not delivered, and that was enough for me to delete my account.

Jayne Paradiang from your email team needs a genuine lesson in customer service. I've used Just Eat from day one. In the past year Ive twice received missing items and then smashed pizzas. Have sent them photographic evidence. Today I ordered and a nachos was missing. Less than a fiver and didn't actually bother me, I just threw in a bag of doritos. As requested they asked how was order I responded honestly and informed them of missing item. I was basically accused of a false claim by Jayne, for a fiver?!?!

Needless to say I won't be using just eat again.

I am extremely dissatisfied with how this order was handled. I ordered food from KFC and never received my order. The delivery driver did not call, message, or attempt to contact me in any way.

When I contacted Just Eat by email, the response was very disappointing. Instead of properly investigating the issue, they immediately assumed they could not help me and refused to cooperate. No real questions were asked, and the problem was not escalated correctly. This is unacceptable, especially since this was not my fault.

The responsibility lies with the delivery driver, who should have contacted me. To make matters worse, when I tried to explain the situation through the chat, I was blocked instantly, leaving me with no way to resolve the issue.

This is not how customer service or complaints should be handled. I expect accountability, proper investigation, and a fair resolution for an order I never received.

Food was marked delivered, but food never arrived. Just Eat customer service tried to ring the courier but there was no answer. So he's gone and made off with my order. Hope he enjoyed it and Merry Christmas.

The customer service of this company is horrendous. We waited 2.5 hours for a delivery order a week ago, it arrived freezing cold and inedible and we still have not heard back from their customer service team about this experience.
We were in touch with the restaurant and they had the order ready almost immediately when it got into the kitchen and the driver just didn’t show up for 2.5 hours when they were closing.
Will definitely not be using this service ever again.

So when busy, they will take your money,leave you waiting hour and a half to 3 hours late. You can't ring them. You chat to a face person who keeps trying to cut you off and end the session. Then they offer you €5 to appease you. The whole experience from start to finish is exhausting and frustrating.

I placed an order from GDK using Just Eat, and the service was completely unacceptable. The food never arrived, and I was left waiting for over 4 hours with no meaningful assistance from customer support. I was not even given the option to cancel the order, despite the clear failure to deliver.

As a result, I ended up with no food and 30 euros lost. This level of service is extremely disappointing and reflects very poorly on both the restaurant and Just Eat.

Given this experience, I will no longer be using Just Eat, as they have shown they cannot be relied upon to deliver orders or resolve issues when things go wrong.

My order was over 45 minutes late because the app does not offer realistic time frames for delivery. If I had know it would take so long I would have ordered elsewhere, as a result, I had to leave my home, ask for he food to be delivered on the doorstep. having looked at our ring camera it turns out the driver then left with the food order and marked this as “delivered”. Theft.
