BRILLIANT. I contacted Farhan as I had NHS interviews for a job I had failed to get the previous year. I felt I had the knowledge I needed but really struggled to present myself and come across in the way that I hoped. Thanks to Farhan's guidance and tips I was able to come across significantly more competent, polished and confident, and got the job this time round. I initially wondered if the work Farhan does would be applicable to NHS/civil service roles-for anyone wondering-it absolutely is!! I have recently lost my confidence in interviews after a couple that did not go so well. I was trying to step up into the next level of senior management within the NHS and needed to do something different. I contacted Farhan and in our informal conversation he had already done his homework and could sell me better than I have done in the last 15 years. The one to one coaching sessions are invaluable and forced me to spend time reflecting and thinking about myself and my experience. Farhan was really good at helping me structure answers to questions but most of all, built my confidence back up. I had the best interview after our sessions and got the job. The feedback from the panel was it was an overwhelming consensus and they called me back 2 hours after my interview. I can't recommend Farhan enough. Money well spend.

A very big thank you to Farhan- his training course and one to one support was invaluable in helping me get a new job. After being made redundant in December 2019 I had had a number of interviews which were "close things" without being successful. I decided I needed some help. Farhan's training course is easy to follow and well constructed, building up a robust approach to model interview technique.

The one to one support is where the real value lies, however. Farhan is an excellent coach- supportive, perceptive with a necessarily critical eye for improvement. I stuck up an instant rapport with him. I cannot recommend Farhan highly enough. The full training package is worth every penny.

Farhan is a master in working with you in-depth on the subset of professional angles of an interview or career and he absolutely excels in the interpersonal aspects. All in all this makes him an outstanding and trusthworthy career coach / generalist professional coach / recruitment coach. He will bring your interviewing techniques to a much higher level than you would ever expect to be capable of.

I found it so helpful working with Farhan. Previously I have lacked confidence and had several unsuccessful interviews. I worked with Farhan on my answers and how I would approach different questions, and how to add relevant detail to my answers. I found it so helpful to think and work through answers, and Farhan really listened to what I said and my motivations and helped me to learn how to structure these into a form that would impress the interviewers. It really changed my outlook about the interview: I had a new confidence about the interview and about my capabilities and I could see and think clearly about why I did really want the job, and how I could structure this into a great interview answer. This enabled me to think calmly in the interview, and be confident in my knowledge, something which I had really struggled with before. It was so useful to do this course early in my career, as the skills I have learnt in regards to structuring and thinking quickly, as well as my new confidence are so helpful and transferable for the rest of my career. And I am so pleased that I have just got my first professional job! So thank you so much!

I knew I needed interview coaching after I got feedback on a job interview for a policy management role. While I was good on paper, I was bad, really bad at interview. I knew I had done everything I could do to perform well. As a result I knew I needed to change my whole approach. I needed coaching.

I contacted a couple of interview coaches. Farhan responded quickly and showed me to he understood my issues, and said he could help.

I paid for online course and 1-2-1 coaching. The online course gave me a solid foundation to the approach. And started me on the journey. The 1-2-1 session helped to create detailed, engaging stories. It had such a difference. The next job I went for, they concluded I could definitely do the job. What a difference in feedback. While I didn’t get the job, it gave me the assurance that the change in approach works. Just needed to refine my answers and examples for my next interview

When I was invited to interview for another policy management job the first person I contacted was Farhan for coaching. This helped me refine and create good examples with depth, clarity and engagement. I was invited to a second interview whoop!

From the first conversation I had with Farhan he put me at my ease, I was feeling in a rut after a series of unsuccessful interviews and he was reassuring that with his help I could turn the situation around. I received an invite to important interview last week, and had less than week to prepare.
My career has spanned 35 years. I’d changed jobs 4 times during that period, and up until recently had never been asked any competency based questions in an interview. I decided to be on the safe side and enlist a coach.
I sent my contact details and within a few hours received a call, had a mini interview over the phone and was able book two appointments prior to my interview right after the call.
Farhan, has designed a very elegant training program, which made perfect sense to me, and was super helpful in helping me understand the structure of questions that often get asked, and the psychology of why they get asked. I had a mock interview two days prior to the real interview. The course helped me prepare effectively, and certainly gave me a lot more confidence to deal with current interview styles.
The proof is in the pudding! I got a thumbs up from the Vice President of HR immediately after my interview, and an email moments later from the acquisition talent partner confirming I’d got the job. I would highly recommend this service.

I have had 31 interviews in the last 7 years since my redundancy. I normally get the job the agencies put me forward for. When applying for permanent jobs, I am always invited for an interview but it is the interview which lets me down. I decided to look for a professional coach to help. The first conversation with Farhan, I was really impressed with his insight and positive advice. However, at the time I still decided to shop around. I spoke to a further two interview coaches; 1) A lady who had her own business - who offered a structured approach. I asked for her email address. 2) A gentleman who sounded genuine and he said he was going on holiday, however he booked me in and said he would call. I did not hear from either of these two. I was not impressed. Farhan always follows up his emails and phone calls. I decided to work with him. I did one session with him, and I was successful at my first interview, with a role at a local authority. I have been really pleased with his genuine, support and enthusiasm with his interview coaching. I would have given him 10 stars - if the option was there. I would highly recommend him.

I worked with Farhan to prepare for a Civil Service Project Manager based interview, in which I was successful at obtaining. In all honesty, I'd attribute about 15 percent of my success to Farhan.

It seems that Farhan is not aware of how Civil Service interviews are structured, and how the candidate should answer. As most Civil Servants know, interviews are formulated around Behaviour and Strength based questions, using success profiles.

If I had followed Farhans advice, he would've taken me completely off track, and I would’ve failed. For strength based questions, which are two minutes long (which he wasn't aware of) he recommended that I should tell an introductory story to build a human connection with the panel, then respond to the question. Which completely conflicts with the advice given from my mock interviews with staff from the actual organisation, and conflicts with how civil service based strength based questions are scored.

For my behaviour based questions, he told me to skim over the details and background of my answers, and zone in solely on the question (rather than follow the S.T.A.R method used in the civil service), again which completely contradicted the advice I was given from my mock interviews.

The only benefits from Farhan was that he helped me to add some depth on a few of my answers, regarding stakeholders, innovation, and communication.

I imagine that Farhan is an amazing coach at private sector roles, but for civil service based jobs, I unfortunately cannot recommend him. He needs a proper awareness of how they are structured, and how they need to be answered. He even told me to scrap one of my answers that scored the highest at mock and interview!

If I followed his advice, as opposed to the advice taken from my own experience, and my mock interviews, I would've been unsuccessful.
