Before I came to i3d I had rented a dedicated server at other hosters within middle europe. From packet loss, unstable systems, hard drive issues and more - I've had it all and it was always a pain dealing with the issues and also with client support. Packet loss and unstable systems lead to non-availability of services and disk faults often lead to loss of data, no matter how tight my backup schedule was.
It must have about 2011 or 2013 when I contacted i3d sales if they maybe have a special offer for my needs, such as running websites with databases feeding the websites. Little did I know that i3d is the partner I needed. What first sounded like a great deal became a much greater deal over time.
Packet loss? I looked through my tickets and found only 1 about packet loss that was quickly solved.
Unstable systems? You don't get that at i3d. Never had my system spaz out or do weird things for no reason or without my doing.
Faulty hard drives? I saw they were using WD and Toshiba so far but none of them actually caved in.
So when I rented the first dedicated server at i3d this server lasted for a couple of years until something blew out I don't remember anymore, probably around 2016/2017/2018? i3d support team helped me grabbing the data as much as possible and provided me a new (to my surprise but also to my liking, a more powerful) server I could continue running my websites on. They even heard my word about how much I liked the IP address range and gave me an IP address for the server just one number further in the last octect, making me stay in the same range.
Here is now 2023 when this 2nd server blew out just 2 days ago. i3d support team did not waste any time, they immediately started analyzing the situation, determining a hardware fault, asked me how new my latest backups were and when they saw my answer was that my latest backups are a bit older, they asked me if I was ok with booting up the system into live *nix mode so I can mount the disks and grab all my data. Of course I was ok with it, I was actually SUPER happy because this way i3d support team enabled me to get the latest of my data, not only the last state from the backups.
After that they tried getting the server back to life and even tried to install my preferred *nix OS MANUALLY (!). Since none of the actions showed success, they decided that the server is to be disposed, offered me to get a replacement server and told me that they will link the original hard disk up with the new server, just in case I forgot to back up something so I could mount the "old" disk again.
Again, the new replacement server, is a much more performant one with double the disk space, double the memory size and a more powerful xeon CPU.
And even though they say they don't do software support - when something happened to the server (offline, new reinstall, etc) i3d support did help me out with basic things in the past, like tossing links pointing at the right direction with ease of understanding and such. Besides the professionality I have experienced at i3d I love the uptime, the availability, the on-time responses when you need support, the basic software/software handling tipps and the absolutely impressive reliability.
Before i3d I was changing hosters for dedicated server every 1-2 years with lots of difficulties during that time, often giving me sleepless nights. Since I signed up at i3d my services run well and if there's any difficulty I know i3d top notch support has covered my back and make me get easy through the nights.
Figures: Last thursday afternoon the dedicated server at i3d didn't come online anymore after a reboot. 4 websites, corresponding 4 databases for the websites affected. Previous OS not available anymore, so websites had to be adapted to work with the newer OS' environment. It's sunday evening now, all of the services are up and running perfectly again. Thank you i3d and the support team! <3
Actual trash servers. I can't believe how horrid your servers are when you've had 7+ years to run a game. Absolute monkeys doing their jobs. If they risked their life on the line for one game using their servers they would all be dead by now.

Dear i3D,
During the last update of my Miscreated game server my original game database was wiped with hundreds and hundreds of hours of players progress. It's not only a deal breaker but a huge huge loss for all players who spent their time to progress the game. Per technical support this was a different type of game build (self-hosted) and nobody asked Entrada why they uploaded a self-hosted build for dedicated servers. Per your tech support they push whatever they been given. There is no point in renting dedicated servers when nobody cares about end customers and it's progress. With a hard heart I have to cancel my auto renew option.
Tech support, please sent my message to i3D management as I'd like to get a response and understand i3D position at this situation.
Best Regards,

Hi Alexey,
We totally understand your position and regret this has happened. We do want to clarify some things so that you are well informed.
What essentially happened was that we received a build (which just includes a version number and is impossible to check until installed) that was incorrect. Due to this new build the query protocol was also broken in the new build and made all servers appear offline while in fact they where (and still are) online and accepting players. The database backups are gone due to the server restarts with the new build which as an effect created a new DB as a result. So how much we regret the situation, there was noting we as i3D.net could do to prevent this.
So we are very sorry for this situation, but do hope that the time you have been with i3D.net has been positive. We at least want to thank you for being our customer and hope you all the best in the future.
Best regards,

I prior rented a Dirty Bomb server through i3d. When development for this game ceased in late 2018, server hosting was turned over to the remaining players via i3d.
I found their services as acceptable. There are performance issues, especially an irritating, recent issue where servers will randomly disconnect some to all players mid-match. At the same time, development for Dirty Bomb is done; performance degradation is likely unavoidable. It is hard, if not impossible, for me to claim whether the fault lies with i3d or with the codebase which has not been updated for years. Some issues I believe originate with i3d, but there are some issues with the code to which there is not much to be said or done.
My main issue with i3d stems with negative interactions I have had with their representatives. I don’t know what’s up with their abrasive, hostile attitude, but it’s entirely unnecessary from an international business partnered with the likes of Ubisoft when dealing with essentially trivial sums.
Chill out. Sometimes customers make mistakes. There’s no reason to immediately start making threats; instead, show some empathy and resolve things cleanly.
Anyway, to assume one employee’s behaviour is representative of an entire company’s attitude or culture is folly. I’d make a recommendation to avoid interactions with said employee; but honestly, at this point, it’s not productive, and I assume they’re using pseudonyms anyway.
More to the point, after posting my prior more negative review I was contacted by a much more level-headed representative who has made numerous good faith efforts to resolve my issues, and I am very appreciative. Due to Covid, elections, the holiday rush, etc. I forgot to cancel my server before the renewal date; they have agreed to stop service and waive my invoice ( for 2020, December to 2021, February ) and have stated they will look into the performance issues. I can’t really expect more from them.
Horrible experience and culture. Tyrannic management.
If you got your server today and its not working perfect is you want and you want to cancel it in the same day the Won't do a refund !!!
customer service is bad they won't do much help

With the friendly service and real-time live chat service that can be felt even in non-English speaking countries, there is no inconvenience, and it is trusted to recommend to business partners according to the country.
I'm completely new to running my own game server (Dirty Bomb). They helped me through every problem, were incredibly patient and understanding to a novice such as myself. Also, they were very quick to respond to any issues I was having. I Would highly recommend them to anyone.

I am not sure what has happened but over the past few years the service level has sunk so low its at the point of being ridiculous.
Changing terms and agreements with zero notice and imposing a financial loss to customers.
Shutting down the wrong servers, staff turn over seems to be high, simple billing and support queries taking days to resolve even when directly impacting services.
They just dont seem to care any more, shame, they used to be the go to hosting services in the Netherlands with a great reputation, now its the last Netherlands host I would recommend and their reputation is that of a money grabbing armature service, I can only assume they are in significant financial difficulty.
UPDATE: I have been asked (2nd Nov 2018) by i3d to re-evaluate this renew.
A compromise was offered which was clearly as good of an offer as they were ever going to make and I accepted it, they still changed a long standing agreement for anything in the future so to say this was resolved by a ticket is not correct.
The big change in i3d is the reason I went from spending around €2000 p/month with them to around €500 and that will soon be €0 they simply lack accountability, it is not even close to the same company it used to be, they are robotic and cold and very expensive compared to other companies in the Netherlands and for no good reason I can find.

A great ISP to do business with. Cooperative, skilled people.
i3D never care about takes high defend on Asian bf4 servers. All the Asian bf4 servers got crashed or been ddos attacked more than 10 times per day. But i3D always made some excuse and say that's not on them !
I wanna vote 0 star if it were allowed !

Good Support even for low priority users. Fair Priced Servers. Overall good experience.
I haven't faced any problem in three years in managing servers with just basics known.
Perfect service and great quality. Best partner when it comes to a solid partnership!
Good customer support, and the servers were fine. The only negative point I could find, would be that they could offer a broader selection of gameservers.
