No customer support
Hi,
I purchased some lovely cushions and paid the required shipping fees to Ireland. However, I was requested to paid on top of it an import tax increasing the price of 23%. While shipping fee to Ireland are mentioned on the website, neither the website or the invoice mention import tax when the order was placed.
I emailed customer support and requesting follow up, and 5 days after I am still waiting for a response.
I am extremely disappointed with the customer service.
In hindsight I would not have purchased these items (higher cost and the colour did not match picture).

I’m so sorry, we have just found your email in our junk mail - we promise we did not ignore it! Since March 2021 as a result of Brexit, all residents in Ireland have to pay 23% VAT on all goods imported from the UK. It is always the responsibility of the customer to pay any import VAT, unless the seller has explicitly specified that they are covering the VAT costs on behalf of the customer. I’m sorry we did not receive your email in our inbox to be able to explain this to you and to avoid your negative review. We are a small business with absolutely no intentions of providing poor customer service or misleading customers. We will ensure to make this very clear in our delivery policy as a reminder to residents overseas that they are liable for their own tax obligations.
I would be extremely grateful if you are happy to retract your negative review, as this can have a detrimental impact on a small business, but I understand you may not wish to do so.

Bought two prints on Sunday. They were dispatched on Monday and I received them on Tuesday in perfect condition. You don’t find customer service like that very often. Will not hesitate to purchase from this company again.

I purchased the Nyla wooden bowl and was distinctly unimpressed with it. To describe it as a bowl is stretching the truth - small dish might be more accurate . Pricey at £36 !

We have taken your feedback on board and added more images to the Nyla product page so it is clear how big the wooden 'bowl' / dish is, as we understand people don't always read the 'Detail' tab for product dimensions. As this is a purely handmade item shaped from natural materials, it is unfortunately more expensive to make than machine-produced pieces.

Speedy delivery. Delighted with the 2 boxes, beautifully made.. they sit on the coffee table and I'm using them to 'store' various tv controllers which are always going walkabout.. much classier than having the controllers lying around.
