My big problem is the same as several other comments. The buffering and smooth delivery. Biggest complaint is that I like to record programs, recording starts 1.5 to 2 minutes before the show and cuts off 2-2.5 minutes before the show ends. I tried Sling but found it hard to find channels and shows. Tried Disney+ Hulu bundle only to discover that Hulu on Disney+ doesn’t include live streaming. So I may try Fubo again. Big issue here is that Disney owns most of the streaming platforms and provides the same crappy service across them, mainly no live feeds. I hate to say it but may have to go back to cable or Direct TV to get the service I want.

Their audio/video playback is terrible. It'll work for 15 minutes on any of my screens and then will be off the rest of the time.
I quit watching Hulu and am about to unsubscribe.

I can find other places to watch nearly everything I watch on Hulu.

If the black screen glitch every other episode playing could be fixed for this screaming site, it would be perfect. Also, having to delete your watch history for everything you watched so it doesn't replay to the end would be nice too.

If you want to watch tv without the stream cutting out 2-3 times an hour, sign up for directv, YouTube-tv or a 1960 black and white tv. I have used them all and by far, Hulu is the worst, a tru mucky mouse operator. I can’t stress enough how bad this “service” is! I truly hope they get better it staff, theirs don’t know a thing or how to fix it. The only true fix is a subscription to anything else

I love hulu the only reason I change the channel is because they play the same exact commercials every commercial break. Doesn’t anyone work on creating commercials anymore?

I'd give zero stars if I could. The interface is not at all user friendly. Why aren't my items at the top ready to go? I have to search through tons of irrelevant content to find my shows or go all the way over and down to "my stuff". These should be front and center. If I want to look further, I will. If these platforms want to stay in business, take after the netflix easy design, with the extensive library you have and don't outprice people. It's really not a hard concept. If I didn't have Hulu included, I'd never pay for it.

I wish I could give it lower. Their app is a piece of trash. It regularly freezes in the middle of ads and has literally (on multiple occassions) forced my Roku to shut down and restart. Tonight I am currently on my fourth reopening of the app to watch the show I want because of the ad freezes.

Hulu is not a trustworthy app and company. I have paid to be a premium subscriber over a year now and had recently on a first time since ive had this service that for a ungodly reason my bank account was hacked and had to be sent a new card how ever I asked for a extension to where my account was on hold for the payment. I was lied to being told that this matter was going to be solved and I was going to be helped however as well they had disagreed to do so. Therefore with these issues that I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and will be going to and subscribing to Youtube Tv.

So I can watch an episode of anything on Netflix and get maybe one commercial in it. I watch one hour show on Hulu and I have so far seen seven commercials that's been a minute and a half long. And now they're going to charge us more money to watch commercials?!

Besides constant glitches with error codes, lately the app does not open at all.
Only remedy is to completely delete app and then re-download, re-login etc.

Don't understand why this app shows up with 3 stars on the App Store and is editors choice.
Besides constantly raising prices they do not seem to invest in personnel who can make this app work properly.
On one tech call I was told that HULU does not like "normal" internet router set ups with dynamic IPs. Supposedly HULU prefers a static IP. I did switch to that, however nothing has improved.

I had a very frustrating experience with Hulu’s customer service, specifically their escalation team.

I reached out regarding an unauthorized charge, expecting that the escalation process would help resolve the issue. Instead, I was met with a lack of accountability and no clear explanation of where the charge came from.

What made the situation worse was my interaction with a representative named Jonathan from the escalation team. His tone was dismissive and unhelpful, and it felt like my concerns were not taken seriously at all. As a customer dealing with a billing issue, this was extremely disappointing.

An escalation team should be there to resolve problems and support customers—not make the experience more frustrating. Hulu really needs to take escalation training seriously and ensure their representatives handle situations like this with professionalism and respect.

The only reason Hulu gets one star is because it eventually comes on. Hulu is AWFUL!!! take you awhile to jump to different channels and sometime you have to reload ( come out and then load up again) when you want to see another channel. Very user unfriendly. Hulu takes a long time to load. It’s so many things. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

Ads. Ads, MORE ADS. We pay a monthly fee only to watch a vile amount of ads. We were just streaming a new show and literally every 5 mins there are 2 mins of ads. SO UNENJOYABLE. I think Hulu is worse than the others but they're all so bad. I'm ready to cancel all my streaming because the whole entire purpose of streaming is so you can avoid regular TV nonsense. Not anymore. I'd rather save my money for a 2 or 3 hour movie at the theater that doesn't get interrupted every 5 mins. Just absolutely craziness.

Don’t put a movie title on your OWN website if you want me to put a bad review. If I look up “Billy Madison where to watch” and Hulu shows up as a selected candidate… it is complete bull shit. I will accurately rate this show across HULU as advertised as I cannot watch the show that’s shown on HULU’s website. I appreciate you reading this. I won’t be using Hulu further upon this expierence.

Why are there so many dang commercials?! The whole reason people don't pay for cable TV is because we don't want commercials interrupting the show, and we enjoy watching what we want. Every 5 minutes of a show, there's 2 minutes of commercials! Knock it off. The price to remove the commercials is absurd, not to mention it's nothing but buffering and disconnecting. It's not worth the price. I quit the option to remove commercials due to how terrible it is. I ditched Netflix and Amazon, this one is next on the list I suppose.

Apparently Hulu is run by a pharmaceutical company and I am tired of seeing people shooting up on TV every 30 seconds and hearing about all these new medications that are making all my friends sick and suicidal so if that's what they're going to support I no longer want this channel. So I have been trying all day to log into my account to cancel my subscription and all they keep doing is trying to sell me more stuff I finally got a hold of a real life person after arguing with their I bought all day who is not helpful whatsoever and this person tells me that I cancel my subscription years ago LOL I've been watching it they've been taking out of my credit card every month but according to them I have no account so I had no choice but to tell my credit card not to pay them anymore that's the only way I can cancel this subscription. Maybe they need to hire some people who know what they're doing and get rid of this AI stuff everywhere I have to deal with AI is all confused and mixed up and nobody knows what's going on I don't know why they feel the need to use this apparently they're too cheap to pay somebody to do the job. I do not appreciate having to pay for the channel and then having nothing but commercials. This channel went downhill fast I used to love it it's all I would watch now I can't stand watching it more than a half an hour and I have to change the channel so there's no point in paying for it it's ridiculous! They know who I am to get my bill but they don't know who I am to cancel my prescription what a rip what a scam! I do not recommend this channel to anyone unless you're a hypochondriac

I have had Hulu for many years. Periodically I have to pause or cancel my subscription due to financial issues. So knowing that I have done it before with NO problem I am not having a problem. No where under my account does it say anything about my subscription other than the new rulings. There is no where for me to pause or cancel. I can only assume and I hate to do that, is that it is deliberately not shown under my account info so that I cannot cancel or pause it again! I guess my only recourse is to see if my bank will stop them from taking the monthly fee unless they finally get this message and someone contacts me.
