NO BOOKING CONFIRMATION

Tried emailing you - NO ANSWER . Tried phoning you - NO ANSWER. Tried Facebooking you - NO ANSWER. still waiting for an answer from you ! on 12/13 August i booked a Ryanair Room and you are the Provider. Ryanair has told me that it is your responsibility to help me and not their's. i booked the bed and breakfast accommodation on the Ryanair website. i paid you a substantial sum of money for your Room accommodation. But you have given me no receipt for taking my Master Card payment - this is illegal. please email me my receipt immediately. i cannot turn up at the hotel with no confirmation of booking and no confirmation that i have already paid. please email me my room booking confirmation, confirmation that i have already paid in full,accommodation itinerary and accommodation booking Reference Number immediately. it is a disgrace that you have not done this already. i should not be having to chase you up on this. please sort this out immediately

Got Very bad experience in Malta

Got Very bad experience in Malta. They changed hotel from Hotel 1 to Hotel 2 because Hotel 1 was renovating and then cancelled Hotel 2 also on date of check in without even notifying us. Neither any call nor any email regarding cancellation was received to us and Hotel 2 told us Hotelopia has cancelled your booking. How frustrating is this if your hotel get cancelled and don't even get informed to you. We were calling Hotelopia and no one was responding. Lastly we had to book another hotel and fortunately the rooms were available in another hotel. I expect they should return my money back otherwise i will never recommend to book hotels from Hotelopia. I have sent them email and also sent message on Facebook but don't know when they will take action.

Scam,

Scam,
They charged more than the room actually cost (even though they advertised it as a disccount).
I Booked a double bed and got a twin room.

They still haven't even answered my emails.

They are scammers so be careful.

Disney tickets

I have booked three Walt Disney World tickets with Hotelopia and they were supposed to send us the ‘ticket numbers’ 31 days prior to the trip. I have called them four times and sent them an email and I just got through to them and they cut me off!!!

Very frustrating as we want to book fast passes etc. but without the numbers we can’t.

If you have no queries the company is fine but if you need help it is awful.

I have now sent a message via Facebook (that’s what they have recommended) I’m hoping that works and quickly as we still can’t plan for the trip until we get these ticket numbers!

Called again this morning on hold for 30 minutes, logged onto the ‘yourparktickets’ website and was given the exact same voucher we already have. These are not the official Disney ticket numbers! They are just hotelopia booking reference numbers!
The information on your website is incorrect and misleading.

Do not book with these guys!

Awful company.

Due to my car breaking down I had to cancel my hotel booking as I wasn't going to reach my destination. Despite calling up within working hours I just got an out of hours message play. Because of this, I called their 'emergency' line. I was put through to a foreign call center to a lady that had trouble understanding me. Unfortunately, she knew very little English.

After 32 minutes on the phone, the lady confirmed my booking had been canceled... I received no confirmation email of this so I wasn't surprised when my card was charged for the full amount a week later.

I have sent multiple emails and received no response. I dread having to call up again but it looks like I'm going to have to.

Edit “please, get in touch with us via our Facebook page so we can review your case as soon as possible.”!? How unprofessional is this!? I don’t have Facebook. How about you reply to your emails instead?

I booked a hotel with Hotelopia in…

I booked a hotel with Hotelopia in February, they immediately credited money from my account and when I contacted them they said they have no record of my booking. I emailed them my reference number, email confirmation and bank statement and I have not heard from them in months.

I HAVE SENT 300 EMAILS AND NOT ONE RESPONSE. TOTALLY PATHETIC.

I was rather dubious about my booking…

I was rather dubious about my booking after reading these reviews but I’ve not had a problem at all. Payment taken was correct amount, just checked into my hotel no problem. What a bargain!

No need to worry

I have read quite a lot of bad reviews do I was quite worried, however everything was perfect.They replied to my email by return. Hotel had our reservation, extra bed we ordered later was also prepared. So really good services for really briliant price. I can recommend Hotelopia

Extremely disappointed that I made a…

Extremely disappointed that I made a booking through topcashback to hotelopia....which has not been tracked!! Nevertheless my father is seriously ill in hospital and I have sent hotelopia proof of this via a doctor's letter, yet they will not refund or other any options due to the booking being a non cancellation booking. Under the serious circumstances I would have thought this company could have been a little more understanding! Especially as the room is booked for Disneyland Paris so they will get double the price for it if they sold it on.

Absolutely shocking customer service

Absolutely shocking customer service. Made booking then error came on screen telling me it’s timed out and to retry so I did. Got charged twice to to there system error. As money had been taken from card I didn’t have enough money on card to book again nor would anyone assist me. Then pricing error told it will be £426.94 then it shows £438.13. Rang up and told to book it at that online and to call back and they would sort the difference out. I did this and then told to email , so I did this also. Made a complaint at the same time of sending the details in. Half my complaint gets unanswered in their reply from customer services. Then I’m now told they have sent to there IT department but will take some time. Absolutely shocking customer service both during booking and after.

I booked a room with hotelopia through…

I booked a room with hotelopia through ryanair rooms . The room was advertised at £119.00 - I clicked book now and booked then found out I had been charged £131. I rung their helpline and was told that was the price of the room, that prices were subject to change and that I couldn't cancel.

Charged a different amount/No Refund

So I found about Hotelopia through my job’s perks program where we get special discount. So I decided to give it a try. I thought if it should be fine. First I had to call to make sure that they had sent our reservation to the hotel because when I called the hotel 24h later (as per what Hotelopia told me) our reservation was not even showing up on their system. So another 24 hours and it was there (Thank goodness).
Now (still ongoing) we realises that they charged us more than what was said on the Hotelopia website. The price online was 840.01. But we got charged 864.42$ a 24.41$.
I called them and the girl I spoke to Dina tells me that I need to send an email explaining what happened which I did and i also added screenshots from my bank statement that clearly states that Hotelopia took 864.42$ from the card.
I had to call back and ask what was going on because no one got back to me. The second person I spoke to Leonardo tells me that there was an error made and that a rebate was not added and tells me that a girl named Yolanda will email me once the refund is made. I made sure to ask him “So Yolanda will make the refund and send us an email when done?” He says yes. I get an email from Yolanda telling us that our issue as been escalated and that she will let us know what happens the following week. What?!? So I emailed her back asking what else do they need to verify I was told that she woud do the refund. No response. I called back last week (feb 21) and spoke to Miguel who kept putting me on hold to verify what’s happenning. He basically told me that our issue was escaled and they are still trying to figure out what happened. I told him I don’t know what else they need. I provided prook and they themselves see that what was supposed to be charged should have been 840.01. It’s 24$ why is it so hard to reimburse 24$?! We just want to be charged what we were supposed to get charged for. I’m still waiting on that refund. Smh....
Update (March 2nd): i called now they are saying the refund was made on February 11th, the day of the booking! No we did not receive any refund!! I asked to send me proof, she sends me a Voucher which has nothing on there. I asked to speak to a supervisor they can’t transfer me and keep asking me to send an email to Headoffice. I just did. I will keep you posted but I surely will never book with them again.

Bought 6 different nights with this…

Bought 6 different nights with this group and assumed it was safe as it was on Topcashback (each transaction tracked right away) - and I was sure I had heard of it before. I was a bit queasy as some of the site layout and grammar was off, hmm, so I Googled them and got this and then panic stations.

So I emailed the hotel and they e-mailed back saying not to worry, all nights were confirmed (and they were a lot cheaper than others, how I do not know).

After this, I had to cancel anyway and was worried becuase of said reviews. When I cancelled it says "5 - 20 working days for refund" which is silly and caused more concern since every other comapny has it in account within 3.

In any case, every penny was back in two days.

So apart from a little squiffiness, I would use this company again without any trouble, 1.8 really is quite unfair in my experience and opinion. I don't know, but I thought it fair to give some balance.

SCAM don't book here!

I made a reservation through Hotelopia. Next day received an email saying THEY had cancelled my reservation (reason still unknown) but I will not receive a refund. Trying to call them is a nightmare. They tell you to call back in 15 min, or 2 hrs, or they promise to call or email back....no resolving of the issue. Please avoid this company !

Avoid this company - seriously they are bad!!

Avoid this company! We are sat in Hotel St George Palace in Bansko with a booking confirmation by email. We have paid over £300 for the room & the money went from our account 2 weeks ago, but the hotel says we have no booking. We have spent over 90 mins on the phone to Hotelopia who tell us that they had (without telling us) booked us in to another hotel completely & they cannot do anything about it. Avoid Hotelopia at all costs - they appear to have paid no attention to where we booked (even though they confirmed to us & sent us a confirmation code) and then booked us into somewhere else ... with no advice to us. The hotel I want has space but Hotelopia says they cannot correct their error!! These guys are a really bad joke!!

Site is a scam - avoid at all costs

Beware! I booked a hotel in AUSTRIA through them and Hotelopia said that everything was confirmed. I then called the hotel themselves to book a transfer from the airport and the hotel receptionist told me no such booking exists. Ok, I call Hotelopia who assure me this booking exists. Then I finally push them to give me a hotel address and direct line to whoever it is at the hotel they’re calling - turns out they’re calling a hotel in GERMANY! (I booked through their site listing and checked the map - they were advertising the WRONG hotel. Imagine if I had not known and shown up on the day of and had nowhere to stay...) I’ve traveled a lot and this is by far the worst service I ever dealt with. This site is an absolute SCAM.
