I sought out this particular gold dealer following careful research on-line.
My experience was more positive than I had expected. The agent was friendly and straightforward.
I was able to sell a few gold Sovereigns, as well as a set of 24ct gold bullions at very attractive rates.
Overall I'm very pleased with the entire experience, and will definitely return again.

I’m so happy! I found a tiny little chain link necklace I didn’t realise I had in a bag of stuff (which has been lying around for probably 25 years!) Did a quick Google and on a whim I sent it off to Hatton Garden metals. It was so easy - they sent me an envelope, I popped everything in and posted it, and on the same day it arrived with them they advised they were sending £125 to my bank account! I had no clue really as to the value or even if the item was gold so I placed my complete trust in them and I was delighted - I 100% recommend them. A little windfall like this has made my week, my month, my year… in these days of expensive food and petrol, it feels like a lottery win! Thank you very much. Brilliant! Update - not received the money yet a week later so busy querying it - update #2 after a couple of false starts, rang up and the issue was sorted in about 10 minutes, overall still extremely happy :-)

I was really looking forward to sending in my items, having heard such good things about this company, but my gold pack order was cancelled without any prior notice. I had to find out myself, without even the courtesy of an email, which was disappointing. If they can’t handle something as simple as keeping a customer informed, it makes me wonder whether I can put my trust in them to provide an honest and reliable service.

Super easy to send items .super fast appraisal. Paid into my bank within in hours of the parcel getting delivered to them . All in all total time from me posting to money in bank 28 hours ..not to mention top price paid I could find.

I paid a visit to Hatton Garden Metals on Monday to sell some gold, and I must say, the experience exceeded all expectations.

Not only was I offered double the amount quoted by two other dealers, but the level of service was quite simply beyond the call of duty. From the moment I walked in, everything was handled with professionalism and genuine care.

A special mention must go to Sam, who was exceptional in every respect. He carefully separated the different karats, my Krugerrand, and coins with meticulous attention to detail, before presenting a clear and fair valuation in a friendly and reassuring manner.

When I asked how quickly the funds would reach my account, I was told “within two hours.” True to his word, by the time I arrived home, the money was already there — now that’s efficiency!

I still have another small lot to sell, and there’s no question where I’ll be going.

Helpful staff and good price obtained for my Britannia coins. Though they were extremely busy the day I visited but they operated in an efficient and courteous manner. Money was in my bank account within two hours. Will be using them again.

Great service. Easy to contact by telephone to which is a bonus in these days of robots. Checked everything I had seen on the website over the phone, sent my items by their delivery advice they received the next day and my offer was with me within hours of their receipt. Very easy and clear process. Transaction was quick and smooth once my gold got there. I got a price but was tardy getting the bag back so missed the window for the guaranteed price and got the going rate at the time of delivery which was a little less. I have to stress that was my fault and not the company. Don’t make my mistake and turn the envelope around same day please!!
