I had bought a LIM jacket from Haglöfs a little over a year ago, and noticed a tear that could have been caused by me or by a material fault. So I contacted customer service, and they replaced the jac... See more

We come from Sweden, a country of extreme weather and extensive landscape. Where rolling lowlands and running rivers give way to thick forests and snow-capped mountains. A place where the outdoors isn’t just a far off place, it’s in the fabric of our culture and community. We explore with curiosity and a commitment to creating gear that will support anyone, anywhere in their own outdoor adventure—from walking through the forest to reaching the peak of a mountain. An attitude of innovation is at the core of our history. We were founded in 1914 by Wiktor Haglöf, a visionary with a dream and a toolbox. A carpenter by trade, Wiktor was determined to create a backpack that would withstand the necessary journeys through the country, no matter the conditions. From humble beginnings, our story evolved, and so did our offering. Seeking constant progress, we’ve ventured into new territory, creating technical designs that set a new standard in craftsmanship and committing to do all we can to ensure that the outdoors will still be there for future generations to explore. We’ve pioneered a new standard for perfection, but, like Wiktor, we never stop innovating.

I have very positive experience with boots AT1 GTX MID women. One of very few on the market that fits to my spoiled feet. I really do have troubles to find boots that fit me and this one do perfectly. Love the changable midsole.
I had previous experience with jacket with L.I.M Alpha. Therefore I tried also boots.
I can recomend both. Both work perfectly as I expected to work. Well done!
Customer service 10 stars from 10!

What a fantastic company Haglöfs and there staff are. I purchased some waterproof trousers in Finland last year on return from the Arctic Circle. They performed very well during many rainy times on my motorcycle journey back to the UK.
However, just recently the zip failed and rendered them uusable so I contact Haglöfs to see if they could do anything about my predicament. To my surprise they recognised my warranty claim and the trousers are now on there way (at no cost to me) to be repaired.
If any company in the UK is reading this (apart from Sportsbike Shop, as you are also superb), please take note as to how to look after and reating your customers!
Special thanks to Noel who was a credit to Haglöfs in the way he communicated and handled my claim.

As user of Haglöfs branded products for some time, I am satisfied with the quality and style. I recently had a disappointing experience with an online retailer and decided to directly contact Haglöfs customer services. Noel was superb. He was polite & responsive in resolving my query. I am very happy. Next time I will be buying direct from Haglöfs. These folks care about users of their products!

Bought an expensive Haglofs V-series mimic jacket. The material was so thin it got torn on its first outing - the first time this has happened to me in 25 years of mountaineering. Returned it to be told it was my own fault, there was nothing they could do.

Update: 31/02/2025
Haglöfs customer service reached out and offered to repair my jacket at no extra cost. I really appreciate it—this shows that their core values around sustainability, recycling, etc. are truly in practice, making the brand feel trustworthy.
I recently purchased one of Haglofs Puffer jackets, enticed by its advertised durability through the use of Pertex fabric and making me believe it would be a long investment. However, after just two years of regular use (mainly in the city), the jacket is riddled with 6 holes and the feathers are escaping through the seams. This experience has been deeply disappointing given the brand's commitment to quality and sustainability (Jacket that I will have to replace making it zero sustainable at all)
I contacted Haglofs Claims department and they did not give me any alternatives other than "patch the holes" on my own. This is really disappointing as I had expected this purchase to be a long-term investment in both performance and environmental responsibility which is something they are "proud of" and claim to pursue as a company.

Had a warranty problem with some walking shoes and the retailer had gone into liquidation. Haglofs jumped straight on the problem and responded brilliantly and quickly to resolve the issue. New shoes turned up today. First class all the way though and a great product as well

As an avid Haglof fan, I recently purchased a pair of Trail Fuse GTX Low Women, UK size 5 along with a Mörkret GTX Down Parka Women UK size small.
Firstly the shoes are not a UK size five, although they fit the length of the foot once you start walking in these shoes they are absolutely impossible to walk in. The is no room whatsoever from the top of the foot to the base of the foot and zero stretch in these shoes. I wore them once and they burned my feet so I literally could not walk home in them. Customer service simply responded they cannot change them as I wore them, they stated not one size fits all and wished me a nice day. (there is a very big difference with walking indoors when trying on shoes that outside so how do you suggest they can be truly tested unless wearing outside). After paying £120 for a pair of shoes, that they are advertising as a UK size 5, it is not the answer I expect. These should be listed as a UK 4 not a UK five. The fitting of these shoes is simply completely off.
Now to the parka which I do love, and is exactly as describe with the exception of the size once again. It states it is a UK small, it is not, it is a UK medium. The sleeves of the jacket literally touch my finger tips, there is far too much excess material at the back and the zip is very cheap, the zip does not line up and I did give feedback to Haglof that I expect this zip to cease working pretty soon, their customer service team did not even acknowledge this feedback.
It is extremely rare that I would take to giving on line feedback, however, I have always been a UK size five and a UK small, every single shoe trainer, boot or sandal I owe is a size five and I do not and never had an issue such as this. Perhaps it is the fact that their products are made in Vietnam that their sizing is off, maybe they moved producers, I do not know!
I loathe giving negative feedback, however I expect far more from customer service, in particular when the sizing and fitting of these shoes are completely off.
A word to the wise, either do not order from this company on line or think very very carefully about their sizing and fitting as it is sadly not fit for purpose.

We bought two LIM Down Hood jackets as it was on a sale (still too expensive for the super low quality). The jacket had a description of 10,000 minutes of rain dryness as well as insulation. The stitches have started to come off by only our 2. wear. The jacket, even in light rain lets water in and gets you completely wet. I could have bought a jacket from the bazaar for maybe 10 bucks and I swear it keeps the rain more away than this jacket. Truly an awful experience! I tried contacting customer service but they refused to help me. I even contacted the CEO of the company to tell him about this outrage and no reply from them either. Please pay more and go to north face or columbia, but DO NOT purchase from Haglöfs even if it is half off.
A million years late, but better late than never i guess, I already sent an email to you guys. no 06 38 07 27 87

Excellent Customer Service.
After having good service from Customer Services in Sweden I was transferred to Haglofs UK.
Melissa offered excellent service & kept me informed right the way through. I could not fault them.
My purchase that I had a problem with was their Womens Buteo trousers. I really like the fit of these & have bought another pair because of this.
I bought Haglöfs Micro Nordic for 180€. It’s not as great as described. I didn’t feel warm below 5 c and windproof ability is mediocre
I am very satisfied with my Haglöf Ridge hiking boots. But I am even happier with the outstanding customer service done by Noel and the rest of the team.
Keep going.
Terrible customer service. Bought a jacket that had quality issues and the brand store didnt help me fix the issue. they were also pretty rude.
I have bought more than 40 items of clothing and equipment from Haglofs including jackets, parkas, pants, hats, gloves, bags, sleeping bags etc.
I own items from all the major brands including Arcteryx & Patagonia. I keep coming back to Haglofs as the quality is very high and the fit is perfect for me.
No product is perfect but I don't recognise any of the gear I've purchased in some of these reviews. My Roc Nordic Pro jacket has seen serious abrasion & pack usage with no damage at all. I have multiple variants of mimic (Roc Mimic & V series) and they are all warm & durable. No breakdown of insulation or signs of poor quality construction.
I have 3 Haglofs packs which have stood up to some abuse. A Tight VX, a Katla and an Angd. At no stage have I thought these were poor quality or that Haglofs "knows they are poor quality" as another reviewer said.
Their pants are virtually indestructible. I still have some small scars on my legs after an accident scrambling where amazingly, the Rugged Mountain pants I was wearing were perfect. Much more durable than I am :) The same applies to my Rugged Mountain Pro & super comfortable Rugged Flex pants. Absolutely brilliant pants with freedom of movement, wind-proofing & durable materials.
However some realism is required here. Haglofs is making performance gear which is often designed to be light and packable. There will ALWAYS be durability sacrifices to achieve this. Pertex Quantum is not indestructible for example and while it saves weight it's possible your down or mimic jacket could be damaged in use. If you just want a jacket to walk the dog & don't care about weight then perhaps look elsewhere. If you climb mountains with your dog or go on long treks over the weekend then this may be the brand for you. Understand what you are buying.
Customer support on Haglofs.com has been positive such that they have helped me track down items I couldn't buy from them with other online retailers.
If you look at the reviews there are really positive ones like mine and an equal number of very negative reviews with nothing in between. This is statistically unlikely so what's happening appears to be the only people who review are very unhappy and some people like me then give positive reviews to balance it out.
I won't dock a star but I note that Haglofs should adopt a more Patagonia-like warranty but even then, just look at the Trustpilot reviews for that company. Again, no relation to my experience or the experience I would suggest of many Patagonia customers with reasonable expectations. I have some minor niggles with Haglofs product design but I understand why the company has made the design decisions they have. The overall impression I have is a company responsibly run by outdoor gear lovers for outdoor gear lovers.
Bought a waterproof coat from them. This was reduced to £200 from c£400 but was not worth £200 as it just feels like a piece of hard plastic to me and I can buy similar quality for less than £100. I need to take it to a UPS drop off point to return it - the nearest one is over 20 miles from my home.
I’ve bought and wore always haglof gear , I’ve walked miles n miles, wearing their trainers, I’ve camped allover Scotland/ England wore their jackets, hoods all everything Haglof Thankyou Haglof you’ve never let me down.
Probably the worst jacket I have ever owned. Haglöfs mimic jacket long(ish) term review. Purchased almost a year ago and not worn alot by any means. The jacket inner insulation/stuffing started to break down almost immediately where the inside of the elbow bends. It is now completely bare at these points with literally just the shell of the jackets thickness remaining. Absolutely no insulation here at all. Other areas are doing the same thing and before long the jacket will be unusable. No what I expected from a high priced and so called professional product. My wife has a similar jacket from Lidls for a tenth of the price which has honestly stood up ten times better than the Haglöfs. Incredibly disappointed and to top it all.. the company simply fobbed me off and were not interested whatsoever. I would NOT recommend buying Haglöfs to anybody. Simply not worth the money and customer service is non-existent.
Top customer service from Niklas
My Jacket became faulty over time, speaking with Niklas he sorted the issue promptly & professionally.
I will be buying all my gear from Haglöfs in the future.
I wish i had read these reviews before ordering, absolutely disgraceful service taking 6wks to get a refund for an expensive Jacket even using their own return service been out of pocket as i ordered a replacement size without waiting for the return as expected it to take a few days maybe a wk but 6wks later and loads of emails to find out what had happened ill never order from these cowboys again
I ordered goretax jackets. The courier tried to deliver only once and sent it to an access point that is up on the hill so my mother cannot pick it up. I asked for re-delivery to her home - no reply whatsoever. CS was completely useless - simply repeating that it is in the access point and asked me to pick it up.
Then I travelled all the way to pick it up for my mother, and the pick up point told me that they have never got my parcel. They don't have a record of such parcel.
I emailed Haglofs for a refund - then they replied nothing. It was a £500 order but they don't seem to bother!
The tracking now says it is in the access point - but I am not going to travel an hour to go to the access point again, having been fooled by them once.
