I've been using the Egyptian Gold Retinol Serum from Grounded Body as part of my evening skincare routine, and I'm really impressed with the results so far. The serum feels smooth and lightweight when applied, absorbing nicely into my skin without feeling greasy. One of the things I appreciated most was that it caused no irritation or discomfort, which can sometimes happen with retinol products.

So I saw this on Dragons’ Den this evening and was immediately to the website as I was quite impressed however I placed an order for a couple of items which are amounted to £23 and then went to the checkout to pay and to my shock. There was a £10.50 postage delivery charge which was absolutely disgraceful. No option to reduce and there’s no way that it cost this delivered these items. So I cancelled it straight down I then looked at the reviews. I’m quite clearly they’re taking money off people but not delivering even that level of service by delivering. Bearing in mind the dragon that got behind this she should be more than concerned about her reputation and concerns over being involved in a company that quite clearly a ripping customs off they don’t answer the phones they don’t reply to emails they just block customers if they get challenging disgraceful when the product actually looks quite nice. And then when you review the Dragons’ Den performance you understand why this is happening because it’s been run by two people that clearly out of their depth and have no customer service experience or integrity. Stay away from this company. Don’t spend your money because all you have to do is read the reviews and you’ll see people have ordered and not received. Should be a lower against it.

Got blocked, banned and my account deleted after I questioned their political post on facebook reels.
Business and politics don't mix well.

And if that's how they treat their customers, by banning them, it's the business to avoid.

Good to know, maybe go over there, and support them, as it seems like you don't need your customers anyways.

Order never came and they dont text back!

Ordered 200gram pouches & received 100gram pouches. Phone number doesn’t work. They don’t reply to emails. Managed to contact via Instagram to be told they had batch issues & the correct amount would be sent out. 1 week later I had to contact them again as I hadn’t received the order to then be told they cannot resend out the correct amount even though they said they would send them out. I’ve been offered 50% as a “good will gesture”. As I paid via my credit card I have now disputed the whole order. It’s a shame as their scrubs are good but the lack of inconsistency with their pouches & poor customer service lets them down.

Absolute disgrace I ordered on two occasions at a cost of €60 each time never received my order I emailed with no response I emailed PayPal as I had payed through them was told too late to open a case. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM HERE

I made an order in January 2025 for 6 products. The order was dispatched immediately, but when it arrived the next day, I had been sent 3 wrong items. I messaged the brand who didn't respond, so I emailed them again a few days later to ask what to do about this, and still no response. The actual items that were missing from my order were suddenly deleted from their website. In the end I opened a PayPal dispute. After I did this, I noticed a fault with the other items I'd received (the ones I had actually ordered). One of my Apple lip scrubs looked a little different from the others, so I opened it to find it was just pure sugar inside with no scent, colouring or flavouring like the others. It wasn't sealed in the same way either. Almost as if there was a rush job to hash something together to make up my order. They didn't even bother replying to the PayPal case so I escalated it and PayPal gave me my money back. Weeks later and I've still not received any communication from this brand, aside from their emails asking me to review their products. Really it was one of the worst experiences yet from years of buying online. I don't understand how this brand is still functioning, judging from the other reviews here which I unfortunately didn't read before I ordered from them. They take your money and send you the wrong products (if they send anything at all) and then completely ignore emails about it. I am reporting them to Trading Standards as they are legally obliged to accept returns as a business.

I wish I could be one of the positive reviews on this brand.

I made an order of several products, on 16 December 2024 and so far, no products received no emails explaining the tardiness. I checked the app for tracking the parcel and it's still on preparing for shipping.
A first week of january I emailed the CS complaining and asking for an update and have not yet received any response.

I do not recommend the company. I have even checked reviews before purchasing and seemed legit, but now I am disappointed with the speed of service, lack of communication and don't recommend at all you use this.

If I could give zero I would. Ordered products early December and no delivery up until this time, 1 month later. Tracking showing that it was returned to sender. The post lady of the small village I live in is a good friend and has told me that no such parcel arrived at her post office for delivery. No response to emails so far. Terrible service. I will never use them again and would advise other to do the same.

I placed an order for next day delivery..after a week time didn’t receive it and no reply from my emails! Stay away big SCAM!!!

Had a problem with a delivery but Tasha the Director soon sorted this out for me and it was also a mistake on my behalf as I couldn't find delivery but Tasha refunded my payment and I then found out a neighbour who had stuck delivered to my mum's address took it by mistake so great service from Grounded Grounded

I placed an order with Grounded Body Scrub on 30th November.
For Egyptian Gold. Never received. This is totally unacceptable

Received order they sent me a free gift aswell as my order and refunded me all my money - to make up for the delay and slow replies.
Just a busy company… the communication when they do message you is 100% she was so lovely so I do recommend this company- just be a little patient

Shocking customer service, i ordered on 30th November and still not received it 3 weeks later. I have emailed and had no reply. Starting to think it is a scam. Definately would not reccomend.

Having tried the Retinol serum before, bought in flight on Ryanair, I wanted to try some more of the serums and the coffee scrub. I ordered on the 29th Nov and it has been two weeks now with no confirmation of shipment of the order yet, even through their website states delivery in 48 hours. I emailed them a few days ago and still have not received any reply to my email, therefore I am not sure anyone is even reading them. There is also no contact phone number for the company which I absolutely hate. If you you are not going to provide a contact number for your customers, then at least answer your emails online. I spent aver 80 euros on an order and am regretting it now, as there is no sign of it two weeks later. It's such a pity, as I wanted to support smaller businesses instead of going to bigger beauty companies.

Placed an order on 30 November and received it 9 Dec. Did not receive any tracking updates throughout. So initially gave 1 star review as i tried contacting them by email on a couple of occasions and did not receive any response. So customer service not great in that respect.
I did eventually find a way to make contact on their website and had an immediate response and tracking update and the person who responded was very polite and helpful. Looking forward to trying the egyptian gold serum now its arrived safe and sound.

Been taking SHILAJIT GOLD RESIN for the last few weeks and Just want to say this Is the best I've felt in a long time! I feel more motivated in the morning and have managed to do more stuff this week than ive been trying to do for the last 6 months lol it's a great gift for vitality and wellness Would highly recommend this product it goes well in a black coffie or tea :)
