This place is not good for business
I took a refrigerator here. And the guy that owns the company dnt work on the appliances he lied said he did. But other guys in the back said they fixed it. But it was never fixed took my 300 dollars and sent me on my way.. took it to Matt appliance. Shop and they fixed it right on up. This place is a joke.. please please stay away. Im not the only 1 that been thu this wit them. My family have as well.. another guy walked n when I was having problems nd he said the same thing no money back.. sent him on his way too smh.. this place is ghetto the owner is 0 of of 10. He lie so much when I question his knowledge he know nothing about a refrigerator..
Avoid at all costs
Engineer came out on day, advised needed new washing machine. Agreed to order and install through their company, placed order, not heard from them since and phone number not working now. Left my daughter without a washing machine with 2 young children. Paid £85 to be told we need a new machine and never to be seen or heard from again. Stress inducing company.
Would not use again
Booked for an oven repair. All repaired promptly when they arrived. However, 9 months later our oven starts tripping the fuse box.
We assumed it was a separate issue. This time we were able to get a Hotpoint approved engineer, who advised us that the wrong part had been fitted previously and therefore wasn't securely in place.

Very disappointed with Green Repairs. My dishwasher broke and needed fixing. It is very old, about 20 years, and I told them this as well as uploading a photo to show the state it was in. Initially all ok and I was assured that they could fix anything. I was told I would be emailed/called on Saturday but nothing happened. Called on Monday morning and was assured someone would call back within 30 mins. They didnt. Tried one last time and spoke to an engineer who said that he would talk to his sales dept about how much a new dishwasher would cost, if it came to that. He said he would call me back within a couple of mins. That was 4 hours ago and he has not called me back.
I do wish people could just be honest. If you dont want to do the job or if you feel the appliance is too old and you can't help then just say so. You dont even need to call, just send an email. Don't keep saying you will call back. If you are unable to help then I will find someone else who can which is what I have done.
It is a strange way of doing business. Clearly their assertion that they can fix everything is, to put it politely, rubbish

Booked for in for Saturday and got a message that the engineer was delayed. Then told me they where coming Monday which at half day after waiting I asked at what time which I got told after 2:30 ( I had a person waiting to open the door and didn’t go to work due to this) after 4:30 I recieved another message that they could come but after 5pm which the person couldn’t wait anymore.
Quite disappointing defenitely do not recommend.
Poor workmanship on dishwasher
Booked to repair dishwasher and cooker hood. Engineer came and looked at both and ordered parts.
Came back Mended cooker head and supposedly mended dishwasher and he then left having flooded kitchen. Discovered dishwasher still not heating and I had earlier paid £370 for the two I contacted him and he Suggested I phone AEG for dishwasher part. After a discussion he agreed to order it and charge for part only and agreed to refund £50 which I have Still not received. At least 2 weeks passed discovered he was on 2 weeks holiday. Phoned and spoke to proprietor and agreed to send him email outlining what had happened. However mobile not working and left a number of messages to speak to him and received no reply to them!

Like many others, just wish I had looked on here first 😢😢.
Made booking online, for washing machine repair, no answer, should’ve realised when I rang the office and they said they hadn’t got a booking request, or it might have gone into spam, that it wasn’t sounding good, but carried on and booked an engineer for weds, which was the day I wanted, so no big deal. Got told it would be after 12pm. Come 2pm I messaged and asked if we’d get any notice. Told half hour notice at least.
Got to 4pm and……nothing. So messaged again. Was given the engineers number. Called but no answer, which is fair enough as could’ve been busy, so sent a text asking if he was still coming. He sent a nice reply and explained that he was running late and wouldn’t make it, but office would be in touch. Needless to say, nothing from the lady in the office, which at this point didn’t surprise me.
Text message at 6am saying can get engineer out today but let them know asap, which made me chuckle, after their amazing communication!!!
Said yes please send someone, as with a family the washing machine is used daily. Noticed no tick on what’s app message, so gathered she hadn’t read it, so emailed, direct from website, to get a bounce back saying email address was wrong. So then looked on here and wasn’t really surprised to see the appalling reviews, so text again and said don’t bother turning up.
So luckily I was spared the aggro that many other people went through, due to an engineer actually turning up. Very glad in the end that they didn’t turn up.
So the engineer seemed polite, but by the sounds of it, I dodged a bullet, as he would probably have cost me money and caused me more problems.
If anyone is interested, this was the East Grinstead office.
No-show, time wasted
I can't comment on the quality of physical work, but only on the fact that they no-showed without any notice. I had a dishwasher repair booked for a 4hr window, and only learned that they wouldn't make it when I called them 10 mins before at the end of that window to check in. I was told the engineer was severely delayed and wouldn't make it over for several hours, but I'd already waited and moved my day around to make that appointment work, so a quick call to let me know about the delay would have been useful. Wish I'd read the other reviews on here before wasting my time.

I phoned asking for an update about their search for an oven part I needed.
I was told they had no record of our discussion five days back even though I had replied to her text requesting details of the part needed.
After a little searching she found that she had begun to look for the part but had clearly done nothing to update me then accused me of getting irate and having a bad attitude.
She ended the conversation by ringing off.
Badly done.
Rude, unprofessional and aggressive
If there was an option for no star that's what I would choose.
My top of the range dishwasher was making a strange noise and I found a screw in the base of the machine. When the engineer came out he said it couldn't be caused by the screw, that should have caused alarm bells, how could that not be relevant?
He was emphatic that it was a heat pump, so that's what he ordered and fitted. After which my dishwasher was unusable, since the part was under warrant, I asked for a refund, of course that wasn't forthcoming, He said it needed another part.
By this time I had completely lost confidence in him. However, having reassured me that if he couldn't resolve it that I would get a refund, he now refused unless he removed the part!! Incidentally this was after he had tried to sell me a new machine.
I asked Carters if it was normal to remove the part under such circumstances and they had never heard of such a thing.
Anyway, he ripped the part out, my machine was completely destroyed at this point and I bought a new one. Bosch confirmed that the initial repair would have been straight forward, lesson here, go to a professional.
I wish I'd read the other reviews. I was subjected to 'rude, shouty lady' too.
I not only found them unpleasant, I also felt threatened, and had arranged for someone to be in the house when he came back to remove the part.
Absolutely brilliant
Absolutely brilliant. Booked online and Mark came out on a day that suited me. He called just before he arrived and changed the part in my dishwasher quickly and expertly. No fuss, just a working dishwasher! Will definitely use this business again.

Engineer called the day after we made contact. He(Ollie) ordered a new oven fan then the next available working day came to fit it. He took care removing the microwave and oven, fitted the fan and put everything back in place-very efficient, skillful and quick.

The engineer was very helpful. My dishwasher couldn't be saved, so they recommended a new one and deducted £50 from the call out charge. My main issue was that they failed to arrive twice on the correct day. It seems that their big contracts take priority and so the individual customer is left waiting, if the jobs over run. This happened twice over a few days. I'm not sure why they overfill the job sheets and assume that customers are happy to wait in? Every customer should matter. So overall - a curate's egg!

Excellent service and reasonable price
Made appointment via excellent website on Thursday for visit on Saturday. Received email offering Friday instead. Engineer phoned when on his way. Quickly identified and fixed the fault. Very reasonable charge. Friendly and professional. Will use again.
We have been using the company for ages…
We have been using the company for ages and have always been very impressed with their operation. I am writing this review following the second visit over the last year by Ollie, the next generation of the family and friends Sussex business , prompted by the aging process of machines installed in a home renovation a decade ago. I am truly blown away by Ollie’s knowledge, service and willingness to help. If only the country had more Ollies, the country would be facing a very positive future indeed.
