Having real difficulty in getting a refund paid out still. Conformation email received from GoDaddy but zero money has hit my account... over 2 months since they wrongly debited it from my account! Left a review on this a couple of weeks ago but it has since vanished after Joe responded to it saying they will reach out (they didn't). Everytime I call I'm on hold for 30 minutes. This time (24/04/2026) I'm told that a Supervisor called "Craig" has escalated this AGAIN. Let's see in another 3-5 business days. Modern day THIEVES.

Absolutely awful company to deal with once service was cancelled. Took additional payments despite not providing the service, refused to refund despite the fact this payment was taken in advance. When I noticed and requested a refund on the day payment was taken I was given the run around for 2 weeks, by which time I was told I couldn't have a refund as we were two weeks down the line, so now 'outwith the refund policy'. Definitely worth watching everything this company can possibly 'auto-renew' after you've cancelled.

*in response to request for more information, this has been submitted only partially completed in error, can you request again if you need more infoplease? Also, the only reference number I have access to is the 'out of policy refund no (OOPR-173552)' i obtained in a phone call as godaddy would only communicate via email with me on an obsolete email address associated with the obsolete godaddy account that I had no access to, despite my request to change contact information.

Go daddy has gone to the slums recently, support gaslights you and they dont seem to understand at all what is happening. One support agent told me my DNS change was stuck because I didn't buy domain protection, also other times trying to change nameservers you get incorrect errors. the hub is so bloated and slow and glitchy

regarding the nameserver errors, im literally showing the agent a screenshot of the nameservers that cloudflare gives you(I have updated 10s of domains with it) and showing them the error, they then ask me if im sure that cloudflare has given me the correct name servers. Almost everything you ask for they need to escalate to their advanced team or their ccTLD team, they promise communication from them but nothing ever happens. You will spend weeks trying to contact them until something changes, You will have to explain the same thing every single time. It seems they do not have a ticket system that relates issues to clients.
