Appalling

It is now 5.9.24. I have had no response from them regarding this order. I have requested a refund as this has been ongoing since April 2024. I have received nothing. No refund, no correspondence. I want a full refund as I have not received my goods. Customer service is appalling for this business.

months and no answer

months and no answer, do not pre-order in this site. I can't have my money back and they simply stopped answering my inquiries. really disappointing experience with them.
Update on September the 17th:
NO REFUND WHATSOEVER! They just wrote that to save face. It is another level of shameless with this company at this point, they became the new nippon yasan in my eyes.

Fast delivery, but website needs work

Fast delivery, package arrived safely! The only downside is that not all parts of the website change to your preferred language. I can understand Spanish, so I was okay, but others may struggle with emails/forms that are stuck in Spanish.

Financial instabilty, delays and slow customer support

Pre-ordered a figure more than a year ago, the figurine was released in October 2023.
It was supposed to arrive in January 2024 after which it shifted to March 2024 followed by the generic message about distributor not providing them the required amount of figurines.

I requested for a refund for this purchase the company was unable to fulfill two months ago in June, haven't received it yet.
Although I was pushed a voucher which I did not request and am not going to use.

UPDATE (10.10.2024): No communication (besides the reply to this review) from the store and no refund.
The company has posted an announcement on their Facebook page about the company's financial situation.

Preorders

Average experience with in-stock items but its not possible that I preordered something on 09/30/23 (Availability date was end of july 2024, which is already a long wait) and now that August has ended they haven't shipped the figures yet...btw 80% of other stores had the figures in February/March.

Lost all hope stay away

I have two expensive figures on pre-order with them. One I ordered over a year ago in July 2023. At the time it was estimated to arrive March 2024. It is now August 2024 and this item has still not arrived.

Like many other reviewers here I contacted them at wondering what is going on? Got a generic response saying they don’t know when the figure will arrive. It has been a couple months since then and it has set in that I have been scammed. I feel horrible because I had another figure on preorder too that I most likely will never receive.

These people have lost all credibility in the collecting community and at the moment i would never recommend them to anyone.

I will try and get a refund but judging by the reviews here sounds like that will be tough.
I thought these people were trustworthy but they have lost my trust. I have basically been robbed.

What these people are trying to pull is illegal and I will try to fight it.

Edit #1: First of all I did ask you about the arrive you can give no update or reassurance. And what you want me to cancel to not give a refund like you are doing to all these other people!? Ridiculous, just fulfill the order that I payed for. And stop posting dates of arrival if you have no clue when they will arrive. Your shop is the worst shopping experience I have ever had. You should really be ashamed or at least give a crap about your business and stop disrespecting your customers. Fulfill my order and maybe I would not have to leave you a bad review. I feel the need to warn people because you guys are out here scamming people. Give me what I payed for and I can edit my review until then, you will get more and more bad reviews at this point I wish I could rate this shop a “0”.

Run away!

For the love of god, do NOT pre-order on this website.
In the past few years I had really good experiences with Global freaks. But since about a year that has changed drastically. I dont know what happened to them, either ownership has changed or the entire custommer service has been substituted by people who ignore you.

As you can see on trustpilot and other review sites, their pre-orders are a gigantic drama. Nothing comes on time. And I don't mean a 1-2 month delay (which would be understandable), but a 8+ months delay.

I have been trying to get my money back for a preorder for 2 MONTHS now. The first month I spent trying to even get someone to answer me. Messages on the website, whatsapp and instagram all seem to ignore you if you mention that you want your money back.
After a month of messaging I get an answer (after threatening them with a lawsuit). First they try to give you a coupon for their site, but after 4 months delay you have the right of 100% cashback. They finally agree to send the money back to my Paypal account. This transaction should be instantaneous (since they already did it in the past on 2 earlier orders). But no, for some reason they just try to stall for time. It has been a month now and I still dont have my money. The ocasional answer I get is "we will send a reminder" and then they proceed to ignore the rest of you mails.

TLDR: DO NOT ORDER ON THIS SITE, there are plenty of better options with better prices, faster deliveries and 10.000% beter customer service. Global freaks will keep your money hostage until they eventually can ship the figure 2 years later or something.

Edit: answering to global's reply; you are missing the point. I don't care about the preorder anymore, my problem is that I am trying to get my money back for 2 whole MONTHS now, and you just ignore me (and others) to stall for time.

This delays are not because of us and we try to accelerate it but we can't go to the company on china and take the figures that are not produced. We understand your inquirity, but actually we can't do more to accelerate it.

My experience on GlobalFreaks

My order from GlobalFreak from Italy arrived after two weeks, I had to contact them by email because the order status remained "in preparation" for a week, but they replied quickly the next day and sent me the package the same day.
The package was well sealed and the products inside were super protected thanks to the bubble wrap. Inside the package I also found two gifts, much appreciated! The shipment was tracked and it arrived on time. Very satisfied!

The website is not bad

The website is good, they ship the figures that are in stock quickly, but the preorders seem to be delayed, me and my dad ordered a S.H.MonsterArts figure that was supposed to start shipping in the end of May, now they still keep delaying it. so be careful when preordering from them it might get delayed

S.H.Figuarts Meta Cooler Preorder

I preordered S.H.Figuarts Meta Cooler with them on 5/02/023 and over a year later I still haven't received my order.

I have reached out to them on multiple occasions, but each time they push back their estimates. Finally, on 7/31, I asked one more time when I would receive my order, and they replied back, saying they could not guarantee I would ever get my order and that they could offer me store credit instead. So I said screw the store credit and asked politely for a full refund, but I have been ghosted for at least 2 weeks since then.

I would absolutely recommend to stay clear of them until they fix their delays/stock issues.

8/26 Update: They replied to my review saying they always respond back but it's now been almost a full MONTH since I originally asked for a refund and still no response.

I would advise to cancel any and all preorders with them. Otherwise you will be in the same situation as me and all the others who have still not received their preorders/refunds.

9/2 Update: After over two weeks of waiting and me having to escalate to PayPal I am finally getting refunded for my other orders. But my original order of S.H.Figuarts Metal Cooler remains unfulfilled and my request for a refund still continues to be ignored.

Do real people even run this place?

Ordered two figures using a store credit code because they don't do actual refunds, and while every other store on the planet has received their stock, all Global Freaks will tell me is generic bot replies about unknown delays with no updates otherwise. Plenty of other sites have what they have and will actually give it to you, do not go here.

Ask for refund, no refund for more than a month

Order Reference: OMAOLXXUU

I have spent a month trying to get them to START working on the refund (and it's 80%). They answered on 26/6 and I quote "sorry for the late reply, we'll proceed to cancel and refund your order during this week." Judging by the comments they replay to other comments bank transfer takes about 15 days. I'm not good at math but wouldn't 15+7 be 22 days max?

If you haven't noticed, it is 3/8, 35 days after the "promised refund". You have ignored 5 of my emails asking for progress, and I haven't received a single cent.

I will be taking legislative action if I don't receive any response in email providing the exact day of the refund with details in 7 days. Luckily there are lots of consumer right legislative companies that will take my claim as it exceed £500.

Edit: I have not received any email from you at the moment, so instead I have sent two extra emails stating the information you need to proceed with a bank transfer refund. Please respond in 7 days or the above procedures will restart.

Ignoring my demand for refund

First message for a refund the 11 of July -->>> No answer

Second message the 23 of July -->> no answer

Third message the 29 of July. I ask once again for a REFUND. This time they answer me and gave me a voucher. First of all, I can't even use the voucher on sale items. 80% of items on the site are on sale. So I can't use it on most of the site. Secondly, Even if I could there's nothing I'd want to buy. They are legally obliged to refund me if I make the demand, which I did but like I said in my previous review they think they're above the law and can illegally keep our money.

Their FAQ used to say that after more than 3 months of delay in sending our order, we could request a refund which would be automatically accepted. They have since supress this quote from their FAQ. Nervermind that since an European law that's protect consumers stipulates that after one month's delay in the estimated dispatch of an order, the consumer is entitled to request a refund from the merchant and the latter is obliged to do so. My order is 4 months late so since I'm in my rights, I will ask you again to cancel your voucher I didn't ask for and to give me a REFUND.
Please give me MY money back. This money is not yours, you basically stealing it from me!

Good day, as you said on your message, we answer your messages, say the FAQ rules we have, you don't accept it, we put your order on refound, and you will recieve it when the banc transfer (5 to 7 days) or the paypal (7 to 15 days) return the money. We don't see the problem here.

The company is lying again

The company is lying again. They replied my message saying I never responded to their email and saying I just post "hate" on their social media, that's why they blocked me. This is a complete lie. I only asked when I will get my items because they don't reply to my email. I have to comment on their social media, so they can reply to me. They are LYING even on here.

A bunch of scammers do not buy from this website I ordered 2 different figures and everytime I have asked them when its shipping they kept saying they had distribution delays when everyone else already has these products

They 'sent' a product but it never came. I comtacted them but they ghosted me and are doing nothing. I lost my money and have not received my product. Don't buy there if you do not want to come in contact with criminals.

I have bought from them and have preordered from them many times. I honestly have no complaints. The estimated availability dates are sometimes off but that's why you need to check sites like MFC.
