Awful customer service, still awaiting refund.

Item was continuously delayed when it has been released everywhere else for over half a year. They also only offer partial refunds as far as I'm aware, even though the item is severely delayed.

Finally got in contact with me after over a week and offered me the partial refund. I've now been waiting well over 2 weeks for the refund to arrive.

Poor damage control

Today, Global Freaks has issued an official statement denying the latest rumors regarding the CEO's disappearance. However, this does not improve the situation or clarify what will happen with unfulfilled orders that are not in stock or in the warehouse. What is the actual action plan?

Please respond to the emails and provide proper solutions (shop voucher is NOT an acceptable solution for an unfulfilled order).

I’m giving 1 star for poor communication, unfulfilled pre-orders, and too many uncertainties.

I have 4 preordered items with them

I have 4 preordered items with them. I starter to notice something was off when I didn't get my sh figuarts metal cooler when it was already released a months ago. And then I started to see people complaining that they haven't received their orders.. and now I hear a news saying they're closing or whatever.

I'm so mad that I can't get my items nor my money back due to ordering thru PayPal and it's been months since I could've open a case.

Please people beware!

They're closing everything on Tuesday, the CEO ran away with the money leaving the employees with all the problems on their shoulder!

It's kinda impossible they will refund everything by their own as they can't (seem the CEO was the one that had the power to access to pre-orders, refund etc.)

Go by PayPal (better by phone!) or with your bank but beware that if you paid by PayPal and the transaction is older than 180 days those money are lost.
At least that's what they told me in chat.

I have almost 1900€ of pre-orders on this website from 2023 till today. Good lord!

They are keeping my package hostage

I placed my order MKYTICJCC on 3/19/2023. I’m still waiting over A YEAR!!!! They can’t send me because they oversell and don’t have the items in stock. It is not my fault when they take MY MONEY and don’t fulfill my order… and now they are saying I’m in the wrong for giving them money for preorder they don’t fulfill. they don’t refund the money and can only give me voucher… WHERE is my fault?????

according to our TERMS & CONDITIONS - 7. Prices and means of payment "The amount paid for the reservation cannot be returned after 15 days after payment has been made. Once this time has elapsed, we reserve the right not to accept the cancellation." We can give you a voucher for the amount you paid.

Hi, it has been almost 3 weeks since last message. Can I get the money back and my package. My first message was on 1.7. and you still don’t want to give my money back for not fulfilling my order. I asked to cancel an order and get a store voucher as refund and I get no reply. They used to be a great company I used multiple times but now they aren't reliable at all. If you want to buy in-stock they reply fast but for cancellations, forget it, you Will be ghosted. I recommend everyone to go to PayPal and contact a lawyer, don't wait on them.

At first I trusted the shop as they had a big audience in social media. I made a preorder of Sakura Miku Cafe on the 5th of February, was firstly surprised of the estimated date of arrival, (30th of August) as the item itself released on May, but still understandable. The shop informed about possible delays, but it's still unclear if the item is on the way. After I started asking about a full refund, they stopped responding me via mails. Now I see that it's a common situation and I even would be happy to get at least a 80% refund

Global Freaks don't seem trustworthy anymore.

I first ordered some figures with the company a few years ago. Managed to cancel and get a refund within 72h. Managed to get a reply within 2 working days. All great up until recently. Figures on preorder are disappearing from their website without the possibility to check when they're meant to be available. Trying to contact the customer service or persons responsible for processing cancellations is equal to impossible. I asked for a cancellation of one order, had to follow up a request after a week of nothing. Their reply advised that my request has been sent to a person responsible for returns. As I've not heard anything back, I followed up again two weeks later (mid September). Still haven't heard back. I am obviously worried now about other figures I have on preorder - some of which have disappeared from the website. Some items keep getting their availability date changed - understandable, as someone who collects scale statues I'm aware of delays to preorders - it happens. But usually there is an option of open communication with the seller that gives a peace of mind. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be the case with Global Freaks anymore.
It is extremely disappointing and heartbreaking to see a once trustworthy company that delivered exceptional service to take a 180° turn and not appreciate their customers, and a community that shares the same passion.

Frauders

Preordered my figure on August 2023 and paid right away. The item was supposed to be in stock on February but has never arrived. The customer service stopped to reply at all to my many emails since mid-August 2024 after they told me that they would refund me, but never did that. Total scam and a loss of money. Do not buy from this seller! I had good experiences in the past but they are frauders now.

Never pre-order

NEVER pre-order from this website if you value your time and money. I pre-ordered something back in early 2023. The item was supposed to be delivered March 2024. It's now the end of September, and the pre-order has been delayed over and over again while other stores have had it in stock for six months now. Talking to customer service (who answer VERY slowly), they are not even willing to offer a full refund, but will offer a "voucher" for the money. Total scam. I have multiple open pre-orders, none of which I am ever likely to receive.

EDIT: They replied saying false nonsense, they have NOT offered me a refund. They will ONLY offer you a voucher

No stock no communication

Pre-ordered "One Piece Monkey D. Luffy -Gear5- P.O.P SAMaximum Megahouse" in May by instalment and finally paid full in August. It is said preparation in process since only after I paid fully (what's the point for instalment then). It's almost Oct now and nothing else happened when I came to check again and realised the item was fully removed. Is this a scam?

Dear Hobby Enthusiasts,

I have been collecting since 2017 and know a thing or two about collecting figures and statues. First of all this company used to be dbz-freaks back in those days. I have no complaints about that era. Yes they were slow in shipping but they made sure you got your product. Now let’s talk about global-freaks. Ever since they changed there name, they also changed their mangement.

I have over 40 orders with them. In the last two years I did not receive even a third of that. You order something. They will not be able to provide the product. You get offered store credit or a partial refund. You lose money and you gain nothing. Sounds like a scam to me. What is the point of store credits if global-freaks can’t supply the demand.

You could say it is mismanagement, I would blatantly dare say they are frauds. Why I think they are frauds. Well when I tried to cancel some orders (because I don’t want to risk missing out on something I want) they initially offered me store credits or a partial refund. After a long time we agreed on a full refund. I was waiting for the cancellation and payment for three months. Then they decide, without my agreement, that they will do one partial refund for one order and say “this is all we pay back”.

Did I have a good reason to cancel. Yes because I made the order in 09/13/2022 and it is still not shipped. 2022! It is almost 2025! Every other store doesn’t even sell it anymore. Instead of trying to fix the situation they ignore my e-mails and messages.

There stock is a blatant lie. They oversell and cant provide the products. The later you pre-order the sooner you get your product. The opposite of first come, first served. If they can’t ship the product they ship something else to a wrong adres in order to hide the fact that they can not provide the product. You will be stuck in a loop with them.

Twice now they claimed that they have refunded me, yet I received no payment. When I asked for proof of payment. They remained silent.

We collect because this is a hobby. A hobby should be something we enjoy. If somebody steals your time and hard earned money it is not enjoyable. Spare yourselves the disappointment and don’t order from them. There are far better alternatives to global-freaks.

You have been warned!

To global-freaks:
You are an Europian company and you have to abide by Europian law. How you threat your custommers is against Europian law. This will come to bite you.

I have never made an order anywhere on my life with an installment plan ever. Don't order things you might not be able to pay later on. So what you are saying is not true. Once more show proof then.

You only payed me in small amounts. I know there is a limit but its not 200 euro in six months time. Then please proceed to pay the rest. Why message me to tell me you wont pay me more. And pay a partial refund when we agreed on a full refund. This is illegal what you are doing.

Never in my life did I get a message to cancel all my orders and block my account by another company. When I wanted to cancel some orders. I wanted to cancel some orders. Not all of them.

Alright then cancel everything and give me the full amount back. I am done with you. I WANT ALL MY MONEY BACK. ALL OF IT. NO LIES ABOUT PAYMENT PLANS. NO PARTIAL REFUND. CANCEL EVERYTHING. AND GIVE ME THE FULL AMOUNT.

Hello. We never threaten anyone. In your case it's simple. You stopped paying for the more than 40 installment orders you had. We contacted you. We told you that we could cancel the account. Then you wanted to cancel NOW because you needed the full amount, but it can't be done instantly. Both banks and Paypal have their limits and we don't refund unpaid amounts, obviously. The latter especially didn't seem right to you and you decided to start hating. If you don't pay, you don't have the product, if you don't pay in full, you don't get the full refund. It's that simple. We'll continue talking to you by email.

Be aware! They don‘t ship your products!

I have pre-ordered products, 1 from April 2023 and 2 from November 2023. it‘s been more than a year now and the figure are already out and they didn‘t ship anything till now.

STAY AWAY FROM GLOBAL FREAKS

I ordered an item from Global Freaks that was supposed to release in March 2024. It's now September 2024, and I haven't recieved any real information about the whereabouts of the item or if I'll even get it. Their customer service is really slow, too. They took about a month to reply to an email, just to give a generic delay response that other users have recieved. I have a feeling I've been scammed.

Please stay away from Global Freaks.
