I would love to have given 5 stars as the process was great and I love the glasses - in theory. I took advantage of the 2 for 1 offer and bought the Amy model in both available colours, Sugar Plum and Berry Bright. These frames are a bit peculiar in that they appear to have a double frame - one that the lenses actually fit into and a separate thin coloured one at the front, which join together (supposedly). The plum colour frames were perfect but the berry frames had a gap between the thin red frame and the one the lenses were in, you could clearly see daylight between the two. I sent the faulty ones back for repair/replacement and duly received another pair less than a week later - with the same issue. I honestly don't know how they are missing this, the gap is obvious and unsightly. Also the little joint on the right lens of this replacement pair is crooked and seems not to be screwed in properly, it's almost as though the lens is too big. I note the company policy is only to repair/replace once and if it is still not right a refund is the only option. I feel totally devastated at this. It was the berry colour that I really wanted, I got the plum only because of the 2 for 1 (although somehow I've managed to place the order with the berry as the "free" pair). I don't want a refund - being the 2nd pair it wouldn't amount to much anyway - but I want the berry colour. I'm just so very disappointed, and angry at the apparent lack of quality control at the lab which is totally responsible for the situation I now find myself in.

I used the free trial/try at home service twice so that I knew I would be happy with the frames and the service worked perfectly. The very cheap frames were flimsy and felt cheap so I ordered frames that were £75 before discounts.
When I ordered the sunglasees I was told to expect to get tem within 14 days and they arrived in ess than a week.
Sunglasses with varifocal lens were going to cost me over £200 from Specsavers but I was able to get a very similar frame style and high spec lenses for about £80 plus a few pair of reading glasses. I am recommending Glasses Direct to everyone!

The process was straightforward, although the first pair of glasses that I received appeared to have the wrong lenses, even the return process was easy to follow and the order trackable. When my replacement spectacles arrived I was delighted with the design, quality, speed of delivery and price!

Thought I would have a go at ordering online.It was straight forward with my prescripton details.Just had to navigate the pupil distance measuring tool so called in my son for help.The glasses are great and fit straight away and I saved over £80.00 instead of buying at my opticians.

After the confusion of having to send a copy of my prescription to them the variety and service was 1st class

Good service, quick delivery and good price

I approached this process with much trepidation. In fact it was much easier than anticipated. The ability to try the chosen frames at home filled me with confidence. The delivery process of both the sample frames and finished items was faster than anticipated. The quality of the frames are very good and 2 pairs for under £100 is unbelievable good value.

Arrived quickly and prescription was perfect. Glasses are good quality and even the sunglasses are perfect and a fraction of the price of specsavers! Would definitely recommend

Always been a bit sceptical about ordering glasses online, but have been pleasantly surprised.
Ordering was fairly simple, would like a simpler way of measuring pupil distance.
Price much better than high street.
Order to delivery was just 7 days.
