After ordering a plant, I was worried about my order after reading their reviews, the plant White princess was looking great upon arrival It was great packing although I had to wait for few Days but that is all right

***I"ll update too then. Yes i finally recieved the order yesterday. It is not a rare item as stated by giftree. Its a supplement gummie stocked in many nz stores (their website appears as if they have the actual stock and its not until after you order you find out) after i paid, their email said a i would get my order a max of 21 days later. Mine took 42 days, 6 weeks!!! The supplement gummies arrived with a label (they drop shipped straight to me from china) saying they were worth 12 us dollars which is 20 nz dollars. I paid 39.98. After them not giving me a tracking link i asked for weeks ago and everything that happend trying to finally get this order i would never touch this company again and will make sure anyone i know doesnt either.

Ordered on the 6th of february and its now the 18th of March and still have not recieved my order. They said they were a family business based out of Christchurch but when I opened a dispute with afterpay after not hearing from them they sent me a tracking link from China. Over a month and they ordered it the day they replied to the dispute. I could have ordered myself from China if that's what I wanted and saved myself time and money. Still have not got my order

I had an wonderful experience with gifttree they are awesome I wanted to order a toy for my kid on his birthday 3 days before the birthday I placed order 3 days before the birthday and emailed them if they can deliver it before the birthday and they made it possible it was delivered within 2 days after placing the order really happy with them highly recommended.

I placed an order on gifttree i got my ordered delivered within 4 days and delivery was really fast and the product which i ordered was really good the quality of the product was brilliant got same things as advertised highly recommend.

I bought a moonlight snake plant and candle through Node. I didn't know I was dealing with two companies. There was no confirmation of plant being sent, so had to follow up. Packaging was good. Plant leaf colour was a dark green the photo on website was a pale white green. I thought they had sent wrong plant. One of the plants blades (frond) had a long cut right through it. It looked like it had been there a while. Not from shipping. I emailed twice to Gifttree and twice to Node. That was about three weeks ago. I sent photos. Not one reply! So no I would not buy from there again. And I see now below, it took this review to get any response! The plant was definitely not in good condition, and that was not due to shipping.

Having read all the "Scam" posts, I was a little nervous.
But, I wasn't scammed...anything but.
The site mentioned a wait time of up to 21 working days...so I waited. On the day I contacted Gift tree for an update they replied within 30 minutes (before 9am)
telling me my parcel would be with me very soon....and it was on my doorstep 40 minutes later.
Ok, the product packaging was a bit rough, but they can only send what they receive right.
I'm more than happy with the whole experience.

I ordered a “Miffy Vintage Stripes Cuddle Blanket” from gifttrees.ca on January 30, 2026. The product I received was entirely incorrect, labeled “CAT doll square blank color: gray”, which:

- Depicts a different animal (bunny advertised, cat received)
- Has the wrong color/design (plain grey vs. multicolored stripes)
- Uses inferior material (thin cotton-blend jersey vs. plush polyester fleece advertised)

Gift Trees’ website explicitly claims it “stands for unmatched quality” and “promises only the best for your home”. Their own terms state that any material differences or unavailable items must be communicated before order fulfillment. None of this occurred—no notification, no consultation, and no opportunity to approve a substitute.

I have made multiple attempts to resolve this directly with the vendor and even filed a credit card dispute, yet the issue remains unaddressed. This constitutes false advertising and a direct violation of their stated policies.

I am posting this review to alert potential customers and demand that the company rectify these serious misrepresentations immediately.

**Update / Response to Gift Trees' Reply**

I note that this is the first substantive response I have received, despite multiple prior attempts to contact Gift Trees directly to resolve this matter.

While I acknowledge your Terms regarding minor supplier‑related variation, this situation goes well beyond reasonable or illustrative differences. The item received was not a variation of the advertised product but an entirely different product—different animal, different design, different colour, and different material.

Your Terms state that any material differences or substitutions will be communicated prior to order fulfillment. No such communication occurred in this case, and no opportunity was provided to approve an alternative product.

For clarity, the refund referenced was issued by my credit card provider as part of a dispute process. No refund or replacement was offered directly when the issue was raised, and the dispute itself was contested before it was resolved by the card issuer.

While the refund addresses the financial transaction, it does not change the fact that the product delivered was materially inconsistent with what was advertised, nor does it address the failure to follow your stated process. My review remains an accurate account of my experience and is intended to inform other customers accordingly.

No item delivered and said lost in transit. Hmmm. Replaced and still.no item. They said in good faith they would replace it and repost ot at their cost. Well hello thats what you are supposed to do. They put back the blame on the customer. I have sent now 26 emails since 24th December 2025 and only got a few answers. Did not receive any tracking details and only when I put a dispute through They supplied details to the dispute company and Well now 14th April 2026 almost 5 months later, item arrived yesterday, I was so excited. BUT the item was the wrong design and horrible compared to the one I had ordered. Sent them an email but as yet no reply. Very very disappointed in them. They also said if I changed my review they would also refund my money once my 3rd replacement item arrived.

The mosquito net I brought didn't arrive with essential parts - despite being listed in the product list - rendering the net completely unusable. When I asked if the frame arrived separately, Gifttree said they weren't included - nor would they enter into any dialogue about it. Reported to commerce commission and requested a fund reversal from my bank. Scam.

I was expecting a surprise box of plants and plant related gifts, not knock off frangrances, hair dye shampoo, plastic water pistols and unpleasant calendars.... incredibly disappointing. I was so excited to get a plant box, and I got 2 tiny plants I could get for $5ea from mitre10... no communication when I ask to return and why they're selling knock offs... I will not be purchasing from gift tree or Node again. Yuck

Scam. Their plant surprise box, marketed under trusted Christchurch company Node, is filled with complete tat. The highlight was two identical copies of a calendar with "F*** it" (uncesored) on the front, alongside children's toys, in a plant box for my daughter. Also recieved 4 tubes of chinese toothpaste, accupuncture socks, and opened cheap shampoo. Disgusting.

This shop is a complete scam. We paid good money for product that was of incredibly poor quality. When this was raised we were treated poorly by the owners. I would avoid at all costs.

Ordering system quite confusing. Ordered a build a gift box, followed prompts to choose contents to the tune of $170+ only to receive the contents which considering the price were VERY underwhelming and tiny. Also did not come in a box just loose items. Very dissapointing, wasted my money. Wont be purchasing from them again nor recommending!

Scam company. They advertise branded products but send cheap fake items.

Must say, I was pleasantly suprised. I found Gift Tree on line and needed a few pieces of Jade. Had no idea what I was going to get -- but everything was high quality ... the best quality. Very happy with how quick it was shipped, the packaging and the quality of the pieces. I will be using them again, and again. Thank you.

Disappointed, not an authentic Loop Lasso Nano as advertised, turns out it was a cheap knockoff!

Really happy to use GiftTree for my Rozino bee cream the product I bought from them is pretty good and it was as advertised willl tell all my friends about you guys

Ordered on the 14 November received 20th November super happy with product and excellent fast service and I'm in the North island!
