A 5 Day course, 6th to 11th sept with Shaun Ogden, completing assessments and tests in SIA door supervisor training.

Thurrock training session
The trainers both Zoey and calam were patient and knowledgeable guiding us all through the more complex parts of our training with warmth and empathy when we found a difficult part , I can not rate the high enough, Ali who took us for our exams was helpful with the online exams as I'm not the most technically minded person!

Prior to registering I wasn’t sure of what to expect but after hearing John speak I realized I am in the best place, John together with his team (Steve and Elias) gave us a worthy time.

Starting a course with uncertainty is completely natural, but having an engaging instructor team who inspires confidence from the very beginning makes all the difference. John, Steve, and Elias clearly hit the mark by delivering a rewarding and worthwhile learning environment, and we will be delighted to pass your high praise directly along to all three of them!
However, we genuinely appreciate your honest feedback regarding the daily schedule. We hear you loud and clear—8:00 AM to 6:00 PM makes for an extremely long and intensive day, and maintaining focus over those hours is a real challenge.
To provide a bit of context, the SIA (Security Industry Authority) strictly mandates a minimum number of guided learning hours for each qualification, which requires full days to cover all required content. That being said, we take candidate well-being and learning fatigue very seriously. We are passing your comments regarding the long hours directly to our operations and scheduling teams to review how course days are structured and balanced.

Had an absolutely sick experience with the Get Licensed course! Huge thanks to John for all his help, patience and for teaching us throughout the course. He’s a really fun, outgoing guy who made the whole experience enjoyable and kept everyone involved.
Steve was absolutely amazing as well. Had some great banter with him and genuinely had a great time learning from him. And of course, Black Panther 😂 — he was hilarious and definitely added to the experience!
Overall, the instructors were brilliant, the atmosphere was great, and I came away feeling like I’d actually learned a lot while having a laugh at the same time. I’d definitely recommend Get Licensed to anyone looking to do the course.
The only bit of feedback I’d give is that 8am–6pm is a very long day when you’re taking in so much information. Towards the end, it can feel like information overload and it becomes harder to concentrate and retain everything. Maybe shorter days or a few more breaks would help people take in the information better.
Apart from that, I had a brilliant time and would 100% do it again. Big thanks to John, Steve and the whole team for making it such a sick experience! 👏🔥

Amazing
John redfern was very kind and took the time to help teach us all of the theory and made everything so much more understandable. Elias was also very helpful with the practicals, guiding us on what to do and what not to do. And he also helped me with networking for future opportunities. And Steve was also very helpful and supporting, giving anecdotes of his experiences that are common in the industry and how to deal with it correctly in comparison to the stereotypical style of door supervisor.

On my top up was forced to do a…
On my top up was forced to do a trustpilot then with top marks what i did but got my results back and they had a tech issue with the second exam and now got do a recourse and they still will not say its a tech issue eventhough both Exam complete times are completely different the one i passed was 14 minutes and the one i fail was 45 minutes and i failed with only 30% so don't trust them and if you fail and arent sure why ask for results

Milan was a excellent trainer for my 2 days online training 31/08 & 01/09 and the 3 guys on exam day George G, Ahmed I and Paul D were also very good and understanding
The instructors on exam day listened to my concerns and helped me over come my worries the two day training I did online via zoom with Milan who I found to be a brilliant trainer and very through in everything he taught
