I searched for a monthly rental in Tucson, AZ for a few weeks and found most so-called landlords to not be completely forthright and even misleading. During that time I negotiated to book a rental wit... See more

Furnished Finder as a platform for…
Furnished Finder as a platform for owners has poor customer service. They auto renewed my membership even though I no longer need their services. Their message of the auto renewal was sent to my junk mail 3 days before renewal. I wrote on the same day I noticed the charge on my credit card and they refuse to refund me. It is unreasonable to not refund considering they don't give much notice before renewal, especially because my property hasn't been active on the platform since early 2025. I would not recommend this site to anyone.
I was double charged in March and this…
I was double charged in March and this month after sending emails for cancellation. I was provided a link to' turn off subscription' and cancelled but was still charged. They refused to refund the payment. They refused last cycle to refund the payment. The one person I had stay at my home turned into a total nightmare.
Beware of Auto Renewals - Scam
I signed up with them when I became an empty nester to rent out my kids room. I never got any serious request. I ended up taking my listing down after 3-5 months. Apparently they place you on auto-renewals, and charged me the full price. I only noticed when it was out of my bank account. Their response was we sent you an email. I tried to dispute it, they clearly know that I have not had any listings or activity. They refused to give me a refund, that they dont do exceptions. This is horrible and that is stealing from past customers.
Beware of your autorenew!
I'm just coming here to echo other owners' struggles with the autorenew feature. My listing has been inactive for MONTHS and still they pushed the autorenew AND with a fun surprising price increase. Even though I called the day the autorenew happened and charged my card, they refused to budge on their no refund policy.
This company is scamming people
This company is scamming people. Not fully vetting landlords and people are getting scammed by fake landlords and losing their deposits.
Landlords are automatically signed up for ‘auto-renewal’. No reminder email is sent, even though they claim they sent an email. So they will charge you $179 (even if you haven’t used them in months), and claim it is non-refundable. I actually talked to 2 separate CS agents who gave me 2 different dates of when they sent out the reminder email. When I caught them in the lie, the agent went silent and didn’t know what to say.
One Star
One Star. Terrible service, awful follow through, doesn't produce actual tenants.
1. When I asked them to reverse the auto billing they would not. I explicitly told them to not do it next year. I couldn't get on their site to cancel it. In 2025, they did it again and said they can't reverse charges and I should change it for next year. Again, I tried and the link was broken and again I was unable to stop the auto renew. Working with CC co to get charges reversed. Once they have you, they won't let you go.
2. I briefly tried their services, but it is a lot of people asking a lot of questions without any actual action. They weren't reading the rules or didn't care and kept asking if they could bring pets even though it is at the top of my ad that they can't. It was too much effort for little production. Reminds me of selling something on Craigslist and they all just keep asking if the item is available and you can never actually move the item.
Funniest part is that the owners claim they are doing this as some sort of proof they are good Christians. Avoid these hypocrites.
Very unresponsive
Very unresponsive. I was out of country for vacation and locked out of everything. I emailed 5 days ago to get unlocked, they said they will get back to me in 24 hrs and still no response. I signed up months ago and so far all the leads have been scammers as well
They hide their auto renewal policy
They hide their auto renewal policy, claim that they send you an email and warning you a month ahead of them automatically charging your credit card! Plus after a full year of membership we never received one inquiry!
Total waste of time and money. I am turning them in to the state attorney general!
I deployed in Jan 2025
I deployed in Jan 2025, I used furnished finder to list my home. I ended up renting it another way and turned my listing off. Woke up to a charge of $179 when they renewed my listing. I did not realize that they turn it on automatically and have it written that they have a no refund policy. So now I have a service for another year when I won’t be deployed and I’m living in it. Will not be using them again when I deploy in 2027.
Horrible company to work with
Horrible company to work with. One year, nobody enquires about the rental, absolutely no results. I rented the house myself. Customer service sucks. They enroll you automatically and charge $179. They say there is a little box, probably in fine print, that authorized them to take more money from bank account. They will not return any funds. Stay clear of this scam company. If you sign with them, you want to lose your hard earned money. If I can steer even one person away from this company, it’s a great accomplishment. I think they make their money off of doing nothing and just keep re enrolling people and taking their money. It all adds up. Zero stars from me.
Amount of scammers and crazies on this…
Amount of scammers and crazies on this platform, travelers are mostly scams and unverified, if you're a host be extra careful! I go with Airbnb any day over this as at least guest/hosts are verified and airbnb will step if issues.
Landlord stole my deposit
This landlord requested $250 via Zelle, he disappeared after getting my money. He a fraud and a scammer. I have no intention of allowing him to get away with stealing from me. I will make hoim pay fot that dearly.
Extremely ridiculous customer service stealing customer money
It is ridiculous the company charged annual subscription fee with secret ‘auto renew’ without my consent ever while the site provided absolutely no results in the past year. They refused resolving my cancellation & refund request for unauthorized charge right after the auto charge. Unbelievably short-sighted and cheap customer service. Don’t waste your money and time
Unjustified auto-renewal charge + no refund
Unjustified auto-renewal charge + no refund after cancelling listing
I used Furnished Finder for a single listing, which I removed in January 2025. I seriously doubt I signed up for auto renewal but that's what they told me.
After I saw my credit was charged $179 I called customer service immediately on the same date of the supposed renewal to request a refund. After speaking with a rep who passed me to a specialist I was told “no refund — that’s our policy.” I believe this outcome is unfair, especially when the service was not used and I cancelled the listing months ago.
I do not recommend Furnished Finder to other landlords, their auto-renewal and refund policies are opaque, and customer support seems unwilling to make exceptions even when the service is evidently unused.
FurnishedFinder has some of the worst…
FurnishedFinder has some of the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. I created an account last year, got absolutely nothing useful from it, disabled my listing after about a month, and logged out. I never touched the platform again.
A year later, out of nowhere, they hit my credit card with an auto-renewal charge. I called customer service immediately and made it clear that I hadn’t used their service in nearly a year, never intended to renew, and had no idea they would automatically bill me without any notice.
After more than an hour on the phone with Stefanie Tenorio, all I got were rehearsed excuses about why the charge was “non-refundable.” No accountability, no willingness to help—just stonewalling.
Their behavior is extremely disappointing and frankly unacceptable. Be very careful with this company—they clearly have no respect for their customers and will charge you without hesitation.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I went to this website for information about possibly renting a room to a traveling nurse or doctor. My CC info was given in the event that I wanted to proceed with their services. No dollar amount was specified. I wasn't interested and was bombarded with spam inquiries to which I replied that I was not interested. At no time did they indicate that I was already a paid member and entitled to services. I was shocked to find 2 charges, 1 for $179 and another for $119 on my CC this month. They refused to refund me saying my receipt must have gone to my spam email. I will be refuting this with my CC company. I would never do business with such a dececeptive company!
Furnished Finders - Property Owners Beware
Property owners beware of this company. They charged me the annual fee without any notice and did so without transparency just after midnight best described at under-handed. After receiving a charge notice from Capital One I called FF and requested the charge to be reversed, but they refused, even knowing that I had not listed the property for rent for the previous year. The customer service is obviously poor. Ironically they rate the property owners and the renters in an effort eliminate bad actors and miss information. Furnish Finders in this case deserves one star. I suggest that other property owners dispute these types of charges and don't let them talk you into an auto renewal situation. This is a good concept executed very poorly by Furnish Finders
No refunds despite faulty product
No refunds, no exceptions, even when their product is not functioning as expected. Unethical and deceptive sales practices.
This has been the worst customer…
This has been the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I was never able to use the service to list my property because the landlord bio verification process failed five times in a row. When I requested a full refund of my annual subscription fee—given that I couldn't access the service at all—I was met with a flat "no." from the monotone customer service rep.
The customer service showed no interest in understanding my situation and simply kept repeating, "You signed the terms of use." Yes, I signed the terms of use, but that agreement was based on the assumption that I would actually be able to use the service. I couldn't even get past the verification process due to persistent technical glitches on their website, let alone set up my account or create a listing.
In my case, a refund seems entirely reasonable and should have been considered an exception. Their customer service is truly disappointing and full of "sucker you" attitude. I will file a dispute to my credit card company. Guess what, if you want to delete your credit card on file, you will not be allowed to unless you add a new one first. Who would set a freaking dictating rule like that? This company earns my zero trust. RUN!!!
NOT EVEN WORTH 1 STAR
I don't even want to give 1 star. This service is horrible. I never got 1 renter, and I had a great listing. Then they auto renew the listing and send you no notice (at least I never got one). They simply send you a confirmation that you renewed and were charged. Then they refuse to refund the fee, even if you cannot use them due to no availability anymore. They say they will not refund. This is poor customer service.
