Evaluating 213 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. A strong consensus among consumers points to issues with the service, noting a lack of legitimate requests or delivered tenants over long periods. People also frequently encountered problems related to auto-renewals being initiated without consent and subsequent high charges. Reviewers shared concerns about the effectiveness of the service, mentioning difficulty securing tenants or receiving useful inquiries, which led some to call the business a waste of time. Some people were dissatisfied with the refund process, where requests for cancellations or partial refunds were refused, even when the service wasn't functional. A few other people also felt that issues like ads featuring non-existent listings or technical difficulties during setup were problems encountered on the platform.

Beware of Furnish Finders

I sold my property and notified Furnished Finder within days. Despite this, they charged me for another full year and refused to issue a refund. It’s especially frustrating that companies like this outsource customer service to overseas call centers, which makes accountability and resolution nearly impossible.

Not so Great

I am a landlord with a property in Raleigh, North Carolina near NC State. I did get one renter for three months, and even though she was nice, she did not use the provided shower curtain in the bathroom, which turned into a total mess where we had to totally redo the bathroom and the ceiling downstairs due to heavy leaking. The rest of the inquiries were all scammy, creepy people that somehow got onto the furnished finder site. I got really tired of replying to people who told me just to use their phone number for texting. I would always call the number to verify that it was a person, and it was always not a legitimate phone number. The creepy scammers always said that they were in a “remote area” and could only use texting. It was really odd. Furnished finder would eventually tell me that the people I was interacting with were scammers, but couldn’t they screen them better? Nice idea for a website, and it might work sometimes if you have the patience to deal with and filter through all of the scammers. -Maryanna

its terrible

its terrible. No legitimate leads from this site. NONE at all! Lots of people looking for furnished housing but clearly not on furnished finder. They are only concerned with getting you to sign up for that reoccurring revenue and based on other reviews they will try to scam you into automatic renewal. if the site performed for people they wouldn't have to scam you into a renewal. People would gladly do it to get another tenant. I was only contacted by a few people who wanted me to sublease my property and I don't do that. Waste of the fee on this one, but we live and learn!!

Tenant Account Temporarily Suspended. I registered with Furnished Finders in…

I registered with Furnished Finders in August, 2025 and to date (January,2026), I have not one single, legitimate request culminate. Although I have had numerous tenant Leads, none of them seem to pan out to follow through...not one. As a result, my apartment has remained vacant all these months. The leads sent always seem to have some issues with the "Account Temporarily Suspended."

Is It All In The Name?

I'm amazed that a company with so much name recognation gets so many bad reviews!
I had a pretty sketchy phione conversation when calling to ask about listing one of my rental properties.
Little bit of a bait & switch mentioning $199. @year but then also noticed a $119. "One Time" Listing Setup Fee.
Thank you Trustpilot!

Please read if you're a Tenant or a Landlord

This company is a joke for tenants and landlords! If you're curious why so many landlords don't reply back, read on... I paid to list my property here and it was a huge mistake. I ended up renting it with no subscription cost on Facebook marketplace with way more interest. Then when it was rented elsewhere, it was impossible to remove my listing here, since it wasn't rented with furnished finder. As they have no option to take it down if rented elsewhere. I am sure they do this to be like, look at all our listings, even though they're already listed. They told me I had to wait for my subscription to expire and then when it expired, I was charged for an auto renew... cool guys. This company is all about making money and has no care in the world to make a better experience for its costumers.

Scam

I have used the site in that I will meet property owners through it and rent from them while traveling, off the site. But. When I realised the CEO was an ex Expedia person, I stopped using them based on that and an experience I had. Additionally, they put up fake listings or allow others to do so; listings that are not available and not going to become available and are rented out long-term or non existent; they leave them up there as false advertising. These individuals are the lowest forms of life, the common scammer and internet burglar.

All I got were scam contacts.

All I got were scam contacts from my listing. Then it turns out you can't delete your listing, and you can't delete your credit card from their payment system. Very scammy.

I did all the work and listed my property. I did not get more than one travelling medical professional. Not one tenant could pass the application. This bussiness was a complete waste of time. The support staff try to help, but there is nothing that they could do. They are hard to understand because they do not have English as their first language. So the only thing I recieved for my money was a listing on their site that came to nothing.

Terrible company

Terrible company. I set up a listing for my rental and never received even a single valid lead. Literally 100% of leads were fake/scams. When I complained they basically said too bad, and wouldn't issue a refund. Don't waste your time and money with this site.

Furnished Finder as a platform for…

Furnished Finder as a platform for owners has poor customer service. They auto renewed my membership even though I no longer need their services. Their message of the auto renewal was sent to my junk mail 3 days before renewal. I wrote on the same day I noticed the charge on my credit card and they refuse to refund me. It is unreasonable to not refund considering they don't give much notice before renewal, especially because my property hasn't been active on the platform since early 2025. I would not recommend this site to anyone.

I was double charged in March and this month after sending emails for cancellation. I was provided a link to' turn off subscription' and cancelled but was still charged. They refused to refund the payment. They refused last cycle to refund the payment. The one person I had stay at my home turned into a total nightmare.

Beware of Auto Renewals - Scam

I signed up with them when I became an empty nester to rent out my kids room. I never got any serious request. I ended up taking my listing down after 3-5 months. Apparently they place you on auto-renewals, and charged me the full price. I only noticed when it was out of my bank account. Their response was we sent you an email. I tried to dispute it, they clearly know that I have not had any listings or activity. They refused to give me a refund, that they dont do exceptions. This is horrible and that is stealing from past customers.

Beware of your autorenew!

I'm just coming here to echo other owners' struggles with the autorenew feature. My listing has been inactive for MONTHS and still they pushed the autorenew AND with a fun surprising price increase. Even though I called the day the autorenew happened and charged my card, they refused to budge on their no refund policy.
