Careless and Over-Priced
FSN charged over $13,000 for a 1,000-square-foot condo, which I consider to be on the high side. For this amount, I expected excellent results. Instead, I found paint on the new hardwood floors, metal window sills, hinges, inside cabinets, and ceiling fixtures.
The brand new baseboards were not prepped. They were covered in dust and just painted over without being cleaned first. Unbelievably sloppy and unprofessional!
I paid for high quality paint and FSN used cheap contractor grade. Contractor grade paint lacks the depth and durability of higher grades and is already starting to look dingy. There's no formula for the low grade paint and it has to be "color-matched." Unfortunately, the color used does not match the provided Benjamin Moore chip, and it's clearly evident that the walls in the bathroom do not match the trim and the door. The same goes for the kitchen cabinets. I have three left-over half gallons of what should all be the same color gray, but instead, each one is different. A good painter would have bought the right paint to start with, and then checked to make sure it's matches.
Overall, FSN failed from start to finish. I'm not only very disappointed, I resent being taken advantage of. If I had the bandwidth to sue them, I would. And I have no doubt I would win.
And they had the nerve to ask for a five star review!
