Carsmart / INFERRIOR WORK!!!!!

We were recently involved in an unfortunate accident. Upon contacting our insurance provider, Gore Mutual (an experience that, frankly, has been quite disappointing), we were instructed to make arrangements to have our 2024 Ford F-150 dropped off at Carsmart, located on Green Lane in Thornhill. After waiting over three weeks for repairs to our vehicle, we were extremely disappointed upon picking up our 2024 Ford F-150 from Carsmart, located on Green Lane in Thornhill. Immediately, we noted that the front bumper paint did not match the rest of the vehicle and was poorly installed—with the left side visibly higher than the right. In addition, there were noticeable imperfections ("nipples") and surface damage throughout the body of the truck that were not present when we initially dropped it off.

When we brought these issues to the attention of Carsmart, they refused to take responsibility. To our shock, Gore Mutual Insurance also claimed they were not liable for correcting the mismatched paint or for removing the imperfections—essentially dismissing any accountability for the substandard repairs.

Despite the poor workmanship, the final bill exceeded $16,000. This level of service is completely unacceptable, and we feel taken advantage of—this experience has been nothing short of a ripoff.

We strongly caution others: do not bring your vehicle to Carsmart. In our experience, they failed to meet even the most basic standards of quality and professionalism. Both Carsmart and Gore Mutual have proven to be untrustworthy and dismissive of legitimate customer concerns.
