I have put one star only because I had…

I have put one star only because I had to rate to move on, I would give no stars..they were called out to my 89 year old mother who had lost her door key while out. They quoted over the phone £35, he turned up well after the 30 minute time stated, he told my mother the only thing he could do is drill the lock ( ( apparently after professional advice from another locksmith this wasn’t true) it would cost £198 which mum was lead to believe that she would gain access to her home but have a new lock and keys.. he drilled the lock and when mum asked about a new lock and keys he replied “I don’t fit locks” he left my mum with a door she couldn’t secure and no security to her home because there is no lock and key.. I rang the 0800 number and she said I need to speak to the guy “ Jerry” she gave me his number and surprise surprise it wasn’t the correct number.., I rang to 0800 number that I had previously made contact with a woman only to find out that my number is blocked.. I messaged “Jerry” if that is his real name explaining that I was giving him 7 days to reimburse my mum.. he rang me full of excuses and denied everything, fortunately mums neighbour was present and witnessed what was discussed… A locksmith attended my mums property this morning to make her home secure and he said and is prepared to put this in writing that the work” Jerry” had done and changed for wasn’t necessary.. a simple drilling below the lock and wires would have done less damage to the door and a key could have been used..please avoid this company at all costs

This company is set up to scam people

This company is set up to scam people. It acts a front to feed local spurious locksmiths.
We ended up using LOCKSMITH ON CALL LTD
Company number 16362870
They charged £543 for a opening a bedroom lock and replacing it with a new one, after quoting £49 on the phone and then £180 when they got to the job.
After 30 minutes of work the engineer asked for £543 which is outrageous.
When we spoke to the " head office" to query the invoice they lied to us stating the engineer had quoted £543 and they had bodycam evidence to prove it! Neither of which is true.
Avoid Budget Locksmith and Locksmith on call Ltd at all costs and spread the word
