FSB has such great resources. Just attended a great webinar on Marketing delivered by Phill Agnew of Nudge - wow! learnt so much in just an hour. Networks make such a difference too!

FSB is a fantastic membership…
FSB is a fantastic membership organisation for solo traders, micro and small businesses. Often these businesses have little support and FSB offer a suite of documentation, links, advice and tools to help them set up proper process and to protect themselves from all kinds of unique issues that come with running a business. The events that FSB put on are excellent and the networking sessions providing access to a support network and a chance to promote your brand and services. Ann and the team really take their time to get to know business owners in the local area and take a personal approach to providing support. A huge thanks!

Helpful Budget Webinar
Watched your Budget webinar today. It was really helpful. A great panel and great host. Will be watching it again on catchup and recommending others do to.

Let themselves down when I went to…
Let themselves down when I went to cancel. They automatically took the money from my account without a curiosity email. As I know longer use it, I emailed them asking to cancel, they said I had to ring them. This then turned into a sales pitch of why I should stay and the benefits I would lose. I had to interrupt the women twice saying I wasn't interested in a sales pitch.

Great Service!
I have interacted with two individuals from the FSB recently, Martin and Victoria. Both have been incredibly supportive, helpful and gave really clear explanations of how to navigate the website and resources at my disposal, enabling me to hopefully make the most of my membership with the FSB

Best networking events in Kent!
We have been members of the Kent branch of the FSB for 3 years and enjoy the benefits of legal advice, insurance etc. However, the reason we belong stands out head and shoulders above those benefits! The support we get from Tim Aker (FSB development manager) and Jane Martin (FSB connector) has been enormously helpful to us and our business. They develop such strong relationships with their members and take a real interest in connecting aligned businesses. FSB events are our favourite networking events - great venues, inspirational speakers and lovely people. If you're a small business in Kent I would highly recommend you join now!

The benefits to FSB are vast
The FSB have been such a great organisation to be part of. The events they put on are fabulous and varied, but more importantly the benefits you get are incredible. I can totally recommend anyone in business, as a new start up or even someone who’s long in the tooth like myself, should join FSB - it really is a game changer!

I have attended two events in the last…
I have attended two events in the last week and have been so impressed. Jane and Tim have been a great support, introducing me to other businesses and making me feel so welcome. I've attended other events before but wasn't as impressed, as they felt very cliquey and not as relaxed as FSB events. There seems to be a genuine care from the other members, and the talks have been both helpful and insightful. I've already implemented some of what I learned into my business. Thank you, FSB—I look forward to the next event!

FSB will protect your business like nothing else
"I've only been a member for two weeks, and I already find it to be of exceptional value for any business. There are so many rip-off solicitors out there, but Markel Law’s partnership with FSB really gets the job done. Even if I have to pay for extra legal services that aren't covered, I’d rather give Markel Law the business because I know they have our backs, especially with their connection to FSB."

Breath of new life locally!
From a Local Authority supporting business, Tim Aker in Kent has been amazing. So energetic, passionate, creative and genuine. The outreach between FSB, the LA and businesses to make sure members and potential members get the right access, support and are heard is unique from my perspective having worked with business organisations over the years.

save your money .. go to CRONER !
I have paid the FSB subscription for 25 yrs . First time I had to use it this month with an employment law issue and it was worse than rubbish . Had to ring 3 x to get a legal to call me and the advice and help was awful ! no set out plan of action was given or help or advice . save your money and go to CRONER they are the best !! I had someone call at my business within the hour with an exact way forward set by step and its through them that I got help and a good result with all employment law set out at every stage with people that cared !. what a useless organisation to the Employer !!!

Going Above and Beyond For Businesses
Lots of people are aware of the tangible benefits of joining the FSB. Things like insurance, business support, etc. However, what makes them a standout organisation for me is their support by introducing me to others, being there when I have a question, and being people I can call on if I need help. That type of support is invaluable, and I cannot recommend them enough - and especially Tim Aker and Jane Martin, who are the business supporters in the South East. Thankyou

FSB Is A No Brainer! (best value)
I was introduced to the FSB by Tim and Jane from the Kent/South East part of the FSB, initially by attending one of their South East Networking events. These events are unbelievably brilliant - held in fantastic locations, impeccably organised, and attended by genuinely fantastic people.
I've met people at these events whom I wouldn't have crossed paths with otherwise, and we've successfully worked together on profitable projects. The variety of business owners I've encountered is remarkable, from those running large, multi-location enterprises to small independents just starting out, and even hobbyists turning their passions into businesses. The FSB events are a true value add for me.
Thanks to the FSB and specifically Tim and Jane's connections, I can personally attest to at least a 30% growth in my business. Their consistent efforts in putting people forward in my line of work have been immensely beneficial.
The onboarding process was excellent - The support available is extensive, with numerous advice lines and included insurance.
In summary, I can't recommend the South East FSB enough. You are in safe hands with Tim and Jane, who are true heroes. While I can't speak for all areas of the FSB, their nationwide offerings are fantastic. Events, training, support, legal advice - you name it, the FSB either has it or knows someone who does!
No brainer!

It can be very lonely being a small…
It can be very lonely being a small business and no one knows this better than an independent financial advisor specialising in business consultancy and wealth advice for this segment.
This is where I see tremendous value in being a member of the Federation of Small Business in Kent.
Tim Aker from FSB Kent has been an excellent advocate for the small business community in Kent - This has enabled us to raise our profile and contribute our expertise in various networking events and on BBC radio Kent.
In the last couple of months, I’ve made connections with some leading accountancy and HR consultancy firms which has provided a huge boost to my business.
The ecosystem and hive mind FSB creates to exchange ideas, opportunities and boost confidence is absolutely fantastic.

FSB Introduction
The presentation received was extremely thorough and gave good understanding of what the FSB had to offer.
Justin gave excellent presentation and explained content in a relaxed and understandable manner.
I'd would definitely recommend all new FSB members undertake the Intro call.

Encouraging and Supportive, Especially the Peer Support!
I have been a member of the FSB for several businesses now and when I launched my new business last year joining was very high on my to do list!
I have enjoyed networking events, training, general support and most recently a peer support group over several months.
The genuine interest in me and my business has really instilled new confidence in me, allowing me to try to things and build my network. With tips, insights and introductions it is a must in my opinion!
