Forget Firestone Wappingers NY
I have been taking my car/ truck there for over 15 years. I booked an oil change and inspection a week earlier and showed up early. I waited over 35 mins and they still did not take my car in yet. They stated there was a lot of work they did not get to. Last time I waited 3 hours, not this time. I took my keys and left. Went to Nissan and they were done in one hour. When you book a week ahead of time you should do the work on time. Manager was rude and will never go there again.

I went to Firestone to get my work truck inspected. The truck was inspected and two tires were found to not pass. I had two new tires on rims in the bed of the truck to replace the worn tires already. Told the mechanic that he could just mount those tires for me and finish the inspection. Woman mechanic comes in from the bay and jumps into our conversation, asking if the tires are brand new? I said mostly yes, one tire had been on the truck after I had a flat and had to drive for around one hundred miles on it before getting the other one fixed and that the other tire in the back had never been used. She said that they could sell me new tires or else I couldn't finish my inspection as they can't mount used tires as it is against company policy. She was extremely rude for no reason. The other mechanic deferred to her as if she is in charge there. Been a customer for over thirty years, I won't go back. They have lost a customer.
Scam artists at their best
They overcharge for parts by 3x. They take 3 days for a 2 hour job. They do not value return customers and underestimate the consequences of their poor customer service and quality.

This operation is a scam. I brought my Honda Civic in for new brakes, grinding rotors, and drums. The car's shimmying and poor braking seemed to get worse after their service, so I took the car to a Honda dealership to have them inspect it. The Honda service people told me that the old pads were still on the car, and it looked like the brake pads, rotors, and drums had not been touched. Firestone charged me $400 for their 'service,' but didn't do anything. Not only was it frustrating, but it was dangerous for me, as my supposedly 'new' brakes could have failed at any time.

Too many things went wrong with the service I got from Firestone complete in Saginaw, MI on Bay Rd. Managers Craig and Tim are not responsible managers. I knew when I made the appointment in person at the store when I seen non-professional conduct between the attendant and other female co-worker display delinquent behavior for several minutes without any regard to customers being present. I was desperate when the attendant finally asked if he could help me, so I made the appointment. When I dropped my vehicle off at the scheduled time, I asked to get a call when it was ready. After a few hours went by, I called to check on the progress and was told that my truck was next to be worked on. Still no word on the status at 45 minutes before they closed when I called and was told that they still didn't look at it and was told that they couldn't do it on Saturday as they didn't have a mechanic on the weekend. Scheduling an appointment at this institute is a joke because they do not honor their commitment, but instead push it back so that they get others in. I mean, it doesn't take long to do a brake job. If i weren't 67 years old I could have done it myself in 1 hour. After an exchange of words of which I'm sure pissed of the managers to no end, I picked up the vehicle on Saturday and payed way too much for the brake job, close to 2 grand. To make matters worse, they left a foul stench in my truck that smells like burnt brake dust or axle grease that every time my heater comes on, the foul smell becomes strong. It's been 3 weeks and the smell is as strong as ever. It's winter in Michigan and I have had to endure this smell ever since. I will tell everyone I know to not ever take there vehicle to Firestone Complete in Saginaw MI on Bay Road, EVER! I will get on social media and caution everyone on the unprofessionalism until establishments like this closes down. Shame on Firestone for having this type of practice. If there were less than a 1 star review I would have selected that and given them a -5 star review.

I had an appointment for 11:00am. Dropped car at 10:30. Asked Tech to call when done. 6:00 pm I called Firestone 6386 York Road, Baltimore. Was told car was not worked on because Master Tech out sick. I asked why someone couldn't call me so I could have taken the car elsewhere. Tech on phone was extremely rude and excuse was they were too busy. I WILL NEVER USE FIRESTONE COMPLETE AUTO CARE AGAIN. This is twice they've done this to me and I won't give them the chance for a third time.

First, they did not put the spare donut back in the car after a tire replacement. That cost me 200.00 to replace because i didn't notice until i needed it. Nice! On three successive occasions, they did not even start any work by 5:30 pm, when the vehicle was always dropped off first thing in the morning, two times with appointments made two days in advance. Always some lame BS excuse why the work could not get done. Don't pay for a lifetime of anything because you get pushed behind the line. I assume they want new cash hitting the tills and be dammed to a contracted service. The hard sell for work that is not needed is just a vomit fest. They cannot justify most of the work when pressed. The latest clincher is the manager is rude, and condescending and just cancels the service as some kind of power trip. Never seen such immaturity. It's a good thing there are two excellent shops just east of Teal off main. Save your time and money and go to either of the two shops. This is place is not destine for longevity.

Back in 2020, I had my motor mounts replaced at Firestone. They told me that my car had 3 motor mounts and that I was getting all of them replaced. The whole thing was a massive headache.
I came in that morning saying that I needed the car back by 2:20 PM because I was going to work.
They agreed, but later on, a female tech approached me and said that they had 2 of the motor mounts, but the 3rd was the wrong part and that they couldn't reach their supplier. She asked if I just wanted them to put on 2 mounts and come back another day.
But a few minutes later, the tech approached me again and said, "Nevermind, we were able to get ahold of our supplier. So you're looking at about the same time."
I thought she meant that they would have my car ready in time after all, but when 2pm rolled around and my car was still on the rack, I questioned another tech about what was going on.
He said, "We won't have it done until the end of the day. Didn't (female tech) tell you?"
I said, "She said I was looking at about the same time."
Long story short, my husband (then boyfriend) had to call late in to work so he could drive me two cities away to my job.
Fast forward to 2022, I had long stopped going to Firestone and my current repair shop told me that my motor mounts were bad and had to be replaced again. Customer service at Firestone refused to respond to me when I tried to reach out to them, so we were forced to pay for the repair ourselves. Granted, I no longer had the receipt because the repair had been done 2 years prior, but that was still no excuse to not get back to me.
Oh, and by the way, I learned that my car actually had 4 motor mounts and only 2 were replaced by Firestone.
I left a negative review on Google about customer service's lack of response and included a picture of the defective motor mounts. They then proceeded to censor my review.
Later on, I tried to cancel my Firestone card by phone. They told me that it was cancelled, but a few days later I could still log in to the account and the card was still up. I then proceeded to send an email to customer service cussing them out, which is something I NEVER do, and that seemed to motivate them to cancel the card finally...
Fast forward to today (12/14/23), another repair I had done in 2020 at Firestone was getting my serpentine belt replaced. I was notified today that my serpentine belt was bad and needed to be replaced again. There was also conveniently no record of that repair being done on CarFax despite me being charged $200 for it back in 2020. Unfortunately, I don't have the receipt for that repair either because it was 3 years ago...
Stay far away from Firestone. Never trust their positive reviews, because those people are probably getting paid to leave them.
The whole experience with Firestone and the thousands of dollars we had to throw away cleaning up their mess was worse than when my parents beat me as a child...
First customer to arrive - service not complete
2901 S Dairy Ashford, Houston, TX. First customer to arrive, promised oil change, tire rotation and alignment in 1-1.5 hours. Received a call listing other problems resulting from their inspection. Politely declined. They said the car was done. 2.5 hours after bringing the vehicle in, I arrived expecting the service to be complete, which it was not. These are not professionals.

I had services done on 10/3/23 at Firestone Livingston, NJ and was charged me $ 488.00. While driving the car home on light came on the dash. it was like @ / capital letter. I drove the car back on Wednesday and the employee just gave appointment for the following Saturday. On Thursday the light was still on and was concerned because i did not know how safe it was to keep driving the car because and when at looked at the book it said if this light was on, the car needed immediate service. When I got there, a Spanish guy with his ass up to his nose called the manager to talk to me. He said to me : oh you are mad and do not want to listen to, I am not checking the car so you can come back on Saturday as scheduled and walked away. SO I sat and called the police. When the police came, I gave my version and she went to talk to the manager and he said: This lady is having attitude and she threating my life. So we are not even going to take the car on Saturday. She can go somewhere else. NOT to mention that it was a biggest, tallest guy at the office! He did not call the police when he was being treated by a 5.4" woman but sat calmly at his desk waiting for the police!. He refused to give his name to police for the report. The police was the one that entered the car, checked the light and told me that sometimes time this light will go one and it is a way to save gas. I dont know anything about car and If i knew something I would do my one service and wont give a dam about Firestone. I I assure I will never go over there and while keep telling everyone how bad there service can be. I wish I had pay American express, I would stop the payment immediately and bring my car to Jeep for proper service. At this office they are a gang of liars , lazy ass and racists. The service is more than bad. I will bring my car to the dealer when i am sure the can give proper diagnostic and service to the car. I will continue to write review everyday until i get to 488 , the amount i paid those thiefs to messed up my car.

And the most expensive place I've ever seen. They charge 3 times more. Don't go in this place. They will stole you. They sell alternators 3x more the servicescis 3x more that the other place that I checked. I m in shocked with the price...Firestone will be 2.300 and other place 700.

The new Firestone manager in Saddle Brook does not honor Firestone,s Lifetime Alignment Warranty! Store Manager Barkev Sanossian would not honor Firestone's Lifetime Alignment. He said they cost him money, and he was tired of giving out free stuff. I had to go to another store to get alignment checked. I have 3 cars with Firestone Lifetime Alignment contracts.

I had an appointment on a Saturday but we ended up having a horrible storm and all the power was out in the area for days. Nate the manager of the Mentor, Ohio store got a hold of me when everything had settled down, he couldn't be anymore helpful and got me in to take care of me. I have dealt with him in the past and didn't know that he still there. He's always been friendly and courteous. Thank you Nate

I should of read the reviews first before I took my car there . But I did not . Then my next mistake is that I did not stay around to make sure that my car was being worked on and how long they really had car in the shop . Did you know that the Firestone in mill creek , was . Will charge you for leaving your car there in the parking lot ( They said that all shops do .) WRONG they don't all do that . They also love to upsell , they also like to charge you for services they did not do or that you do not need . I could go on and on but I think you get that I did not like there service . So if you do go there I would watch them check your bill and stay around so you can see if they really did work on your car . Just my option .

After many deep, cleansing breaths, I can now express my experience with your scheduling dept... I am certain I have a fuel leak & my A/C randomly cuts out. I called yesterday Sat 8/12 what I thought was the store we do business with to make an appt. A very nice lady, clearly not in Phoenix, answered my call. We scheduled a diagnostic for Sun 8/13 at noon. Later in the day, I received an email stating that my appt was moved to Wed 8/16 at noon. No prior notification or approval - just rescheduled. My husband called & spoke with the scheduling dept & was able to schedule it for today Sun 8/13 at 11am at a different store not too far from us. When I arrived, I was was informed that the lead mechanic is off today & would not be able to take us. I assured this young man that Firestone's seriously flawed scheduling process is not his fault. He was able to fit us in on Tue 8/15 at 8am. So, now I have to drop my car off tomorrow for repairs on Tue. As a card-carrying member of Firestone since 2004, we have been loyal customers to your company. Never have I ever had such low-quality service. I can't even blame the 2 individuals we spoke with on the phone. Clearly, they're just doing their job, but CONFIRMING a date and time is misleading & unacceptable... I showed up at the store this afternoon to drop my car off for service tomorrow & was informed that they won’t have a diagnostic tech tomorrow or EVER. He explained that there are 2 locations that have diagnostics, but this ain’t one of ‘em. This time I do hold the gentleman who made my appt yesterday fully responsible. He should have known, based on my issue, that a diagnostic test would be needed (even I knew this!). So, now I have to wait 2 more days for service.
Watching my gas gage plummet & popping ibuprofen like Skittles due to the gas fumes I’m breathing in not to mention my A/C randomly cutting out again this afternoon sparks zero joy. Oh! And now I have to reschedule my doctor appt Wed. because I won’t have transportation.
I don’t get it. My husband is ready to tap out & find a different place. I just want my car fixed by the company I’ve trusted with our automobiles for years. I really hope Firestone will do the right thing & ensure this negative & totally unacceptable experience doesn’t happen to another loyal customer.

I appreciate your responses to my never-ending challenges with Firestone. YOU have done your job. I have not received a response from Mr. Murray nor have I received any communication from corporate. Even though I need more work done on my car, I have made the decision to move on. My loyalty ends today. Clearly, Firestone does not value their long-time customers. However, I really hope they find some level of value in my initial feedback regarding the f@*ked up scheduling process and staffing issues.

CS Jason responded to my litany of emails promptly with the same response – sorry, understand my frustrations, someone will contact me. The repair service we've received has usually been fair & efficient. However, since they installed the fuel pump, my car is chugging gas like it's on a bender. While I usually get nearly 500 miles to the tank, I'm at 3/4 of a tank and have only driven 28.2 miles since filling up 2 days ago. Something is seriously wrong. The biggest bummer is I will have to go there to resolve this issue.

I took my car in for an oil change. I was given an 11:00 appointment and was told my car would be ready by 1:00 as they only had 2 cars ahead of me. I called at 3:00 and it had not been taken in to get work done yet. Was told they were finishing up on the last car and would be ready to start on mine within a half hour and it should be ready by 4:00. I called back at 4:30 and was told it was ready and I asked why I was not given a call. Was told they were on "other phone calls". Really????? Is this how you treat customers? I go to pick the car up and there is only one person in line getting help. There are 4 people behind the counter. Two are on the other two available computers doing whatever and the fourth person is on the phone. After 15 minutes, I'm still waiting in line while the lady being "helped" is still flirting with the guy behind the counter. Finally, after the lobby starts getting full, the person gets off the phone and opens the second line up. I let them know how disappointed I was at their service (or lack there-of) and they could care less. I was told they are helping all their customers and I pointed out that they are helping none of them. Their customer service is non-existent. I am sad to say that this is the type of service that we have experienced at the Vero Beach, FL site for quite a while. We purchased tire there and would go there for oil changes and get tires rotated and balanced for free. Come on people! This should be a simple task to complete. Unfortunately, it is not -- at least not for this location. This will be the last time we will ever, ever go there. I guess this is the norm with this location. If I could give this review lower than a 1 star I would. I cannot explain how horrible their service is there. AND THEY JUST DON'T SEEM TO CARE! My advice to anyone in the Vero Beach area it to stay away from this store.

I purchased tires in 2020 with guarantee of 70,000 miles. I brought in car to check air pressure and ask about life of tire. I was told that they should be replaced. I only have 20,000 miles on tire. Well according to the service tech these tires were manufactured on 2017 and tires only last 5 years. Why would a company sell a consumer 3 year old tires?
