one of my plants did not make it. I worked with the customer service department and they have gone above and beyond to be helpful.

So far so good! I am new to this company, and I was hoping they were legit. When I set up an account, it auto applied several discounts. However, when I went to pay, they charged me the full amount. I was afraid the company might not be legitimate. I emailed about the price discrepancy, and within a few days there was a refund posted to my account in the amount of the discounts! I am very happy with the customer service. I gave four stars only because I haven’t received my tree yet, but I fully expect it to be happy and healthy.

I ordered a Bartzella Peony for $109.95 on May 17th. Shipping company status says still 'waiting for details' while everything else in my order has shipped(although they were supposed to be delivered today and were not). Went to their site and it says Out of Stock. If their site says out of stock and the shipping company is still 'waiting for details' this makes me believe that I'll never receive my plant. If that is the case, they need to fully refund me for that plant as soon as possible instead of dragging their feet. Admit your mistake, probably an inventory mistake, but admit it and give me my money back.
On top of that, I went to Lowes and saw the same size and color plant for half the price I paid for on here. Why the huge price tag??
I want to know where my plant is! If they are truly out of stock, and I was able to purchase by mistake, I want to be able to have the chance to pick up one locally. Stressed. I spent almost $400 on this site. If I get these plants and they look like crap I'm going to be enraged and will leave bad reviews on every single place I can. However, if I receive all of my plants and they are beautiful I will definitely change my review.

i wish i had read these reviews before buying from this company. they are scammers. don’t give them your business. they send dead trees and charge extra for warranty and then for replacement shipping. replacements did not look healthy either. i still followed all the instructions and plated them right away. unfortunately nothing survived and now im told that there is nothing they can do. i have to go back and try to get my money back from the credit card. i submitted new pictures of new trees

Was sent a crape mrytle where the top third of the tree was dead. Reached out to the company within 60 days and they refused to replace it. Company lacks integrity, would take your business elsewhere. I also submitted a review for their website which was never posted, guess they only publish the positive reviews…

Received order promptly and in good shape. Plants were packaged well and looking great. Prompt customer service on a missing plant, a buy one get one free, but was very satisfied with the settlement, customer service answered the phone quickly and did outstanding on making it correct. Shipping by FedEx is gamble in my area but worked fine this time. Will order again

I’m gonna have to wait till next year unfortunately to order two more I appreciate the ease of getting a refund. Thank you.

Update 6/11/26: Via chat on the FGT website "We don't have any ETA as on yet on when we'll get the stocks for the Miracle Berry Plant - 1 gallon. However, the 3 Gal size will be available on the second week of July. We can cancel the ! (sic) Gal size on the order and you can reorder the 3 Gal size by July" A reminder that the 1 Gal plants were shown as in stock both times I ordered (1 then 2 more plants) and the first order was placed more than 10 months ago. As I told the help chat, their response seems like an attempt to upsell me. Not only that but how do I know that it won't just end up with me in the same situation i.e. waiting another 10 months, now for an even more expensive 3 gal versions that would never actually be delivered.
On positive notes: I was (finally) not given yet another false narrative and delivery date only to end up waiting in vein even longer. When they admitted the situation, I requested and they have started the refund to my CC for the plants that were ordered but never delivered.
I appreciate the honesty about the real situation by FTG in this latest update. Having said that, I am not happy about being led on for 10 months. So while I have been happy, in some cases very happy, with some of my prior orders - I will no longer be a customer of FGT and will no longer recommend them to friends and family. Even so and despite this current situation, I will leave the rating at 3 stars to indicate my opinion of ALL interactions with FTG through the years.
Update 6/8/26: The Sept 5 2025 Miracle Berry plant has not shipped (or at least no notification of shipment, no change of status on FGT site, etc) and no further contact after the email saying they were now expected to ship them on May 26-27th. We are over 9 months now. The other order from Feb 16, 2026 which had 2 Miracle Berry plants that have also not shipped (though they are also tagged on FGT site order as having an expected week of May 11 ship date. Sigh.
Update: I did receive an inquiry via Trustpilot from Fast Growing Trees, replied and received an email today on May 24th. The email said Miracle Berry bushes were delayed due to the heatwave / high temps across the country over the prior few weeks and they are now expected to ship them on May 26-27th. I will update the review when the plants arrive.
I've ordered from them multiple times when looking for plants I couldn't get from any of my local nurseries. Usually I have been satisfied with the plants received though a few times they have been (much) smaller than expected e.g. a 1 gallon citrus that arrived in a 1 gallon pot but the plant was only 6 inches tall, a single stem and 2 small branches apx. 2 inches each and a total of 4 leaves. On the other hand there have been a few occasions where the plants arrived much larger than expected and very healthy. Those plants are why I am giving a 3 star rating instead of something lower.
Anyway, my 2 most recent orders have now made me look elsewhere. In one case I placed an order for a 1 gal miracle berry plant back at the start of Sept 25. I was expecting it to be shipped before cold weather set in (I am zone 5b) but after it was ordered the ship date was moved to spring / May of this year. That ship date came and went and I waited until a week after that to contact them. I was told by customer service they would get it shipped but still nothing. I will try to contact them again this coming week but at this time I have a paid order, 8 1/2 months of waiting and still no plant. The other order was made just a few months ago but is in the same situation i.e. missed ship date and no contact, update or explanation.

I received a half dead redbud tree. Took longer than it was supposed to for delivery and I was told by customer service that a stake would be included in box to keep tree upright. There was nothing but a sick tree in box. Can't believe I paid over $100 for this! Now they want pictures sent instead of trying to fix this. I guess I will call my cc co. and never order from here again.

You get what you pay for. Prices are slightly higher than other online stores. I have bought dozens of trees for our homes. Cheaper outlets with low quality products. Time, effort lost.
The items from Fast Growing Trees have been spectscular. Only once did I received a slightly poor specimen. They refunded me without any issues.

i had ordered 2 grafted plum trees on 4/22/26 and all i got was a pack of seeds on 5/18/26. They say they checked and i got what ordered. I did not get trees. they offered me a $4 refund. I paid $20. Told them the refund was unacceptable. I'd give them a Zero if it was available

i bought a tree last fall, which didnt make it. I filed a complaint, and the costumer service was wonderful, they took care of me and they are sending a new tree.
I am a very happy costumer, and will definitely buy plants again with fast growing trees.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves one.
I purchased a nearly $300 Weeping Extraordinaire Cherry Tree from FastGrowingTrees. The tree established during the first season, then failed immediately after its first dormancy period and never resumed spring growth.
Because this is a deciduous tree, there was no realistic way to evaluate the extent of the issue during winter dormancy. I contacted support on April 19 as soon as it became obvious the tree was not waking up normally. At that point, support advised me to continue waiting and monitoring it.
Weeks later:
* the tree still has no leaves,
* buds remain dormant,
* scratch tests show green cambium,
* while every surrounding tree on my property under identical conditions is actively growing.
After waiting as instructed, my claim was denied because the warranty period had just expired.
What makes this especially frustrating is that FastGrowingTrees later shifted to blaming Zone 9 conditions — despite selling this exact tree to my ZIP code, despite the tree surviving the first growing season successfully, and despite the issue only becoming fully visible after dormancy.
The problem is not simply the denial itself. The problem is being told to wait, then having the timeline used against the customer afterward.
For premium-priced trees, I expected significantly better post-sale support and a more reasonable review process.

Excellent service. Prompt response to questions. Updates on delivery provided. Quality of trees excellent. You can tell they take great pride and care about their customers. Reasonable prices. Backed by 1 year warranty.

I like the variety of trees offered, reasonably priced but their packaging is not that great. I guess they try and I'm sure if it were being delivered locally from their location it would be ok but I live in Southern Cali. My trees were shipped via Fedex took 11 days from order to delivery, thats just too many days and too many people handling the boxes they were packaged in. One box was definitely broken open/ smashed, reaped, when I opened the main branch was broken as was the bamboo it was tied to,looks as if it was stepped on during shipping. Every tree had limbs broken/ hanging, lots leaves floating in the boxes, one ofthe big trees was totally out of the pot as the post was semi smashed, 1/3 of the soil was in the plastic bag. There is just no way to ship trees that far without being "mis" handled along the way. Its in a box, and im sure that box gets thrown, stepped on, smashed, turned upside down during those 11 days. Will just have to settle with local nurseries from now on.
Update: (5/24/26)
I would like to Thank the Customer Support team for reaching out to me so quickly. Recognizing the damages that occurred during shipping, they offered informative care and maintenance tips to aid in the tree's recovery process and also an added discount. Time will tell if the trees recover but I am truly Thankful and appreciative of the Customer Support team.

Fulfillment/Delivery is a disaster - Delivery date was many days after expected/estimated. Order have multiple fulfillments
Deceptive with their Plant Sizes -- Ordered multiple 3 Gallon Boxwood and when they arrived it appeared they took 1 Gallons and put them in a 3 Gallon container. The Root ball of all the plants were still in the shape/form of 1 Gallon container with loose dirt to fill the gap
