Love their BMW Motorsport catalog

Love their BMW Motorsport catalog, best on the Internet. Good prices compared to others, fast shipping, arrived in Vancouver, BC in only 3-4 days. Would love to see an even bigger catalog and more economical shipping couriers as a option, such as via post service.

Best F1 merchandise place in the world!

Super fast shipping and Phenomenal service!

Super fast shipping! Received the item really quick despite it being the Christmas holiday week and best of all, they had the item I was looking for in stock in my size when all other online retailers including the official F1 store and Red Bull store did not have any in stock for months. Item is authentic and the shipping experience was flawless from the start. Really recommend them to anybody else looking to but motorsport merchandise.

First off, the prices were the best I could find anywhere. And second, they shipped faster to me living in the USA than anyone else. And their selection was greater than anyone. Will be shopping there again and again.

A real shame

A real shame, we placed a first order for two backpacks, all arrived with no issue. I then ordered two more expensive items for Xmas and whilst waiting for delivery was contacted by UPS to pay 40% of the value of my order in import taxes. I wrote several emails then had a conversation with the company, the conclusion of which was that there was nothing they could do other than for me to refuse to pay the import duties, wait for the package to be returned to them at which point they would give me a refund. They offered me membership of an exclusive club with discounts on future orders, I said that didn’t help me in my predicament and that the fair thing to do would be to provide a limited credit note towards my current order, particularly because they advertise discounts for non EU countries which I had not received so in effect they had already over charged me. The next thing that happened was radio silence, no reply to several emails which is disrespectful and generally left a very bad feeling. I did tell them I would not pay the import duties but ended up doing it for fear that I would not get the refund and also because the items were for Christmas. Big shame as they have great stock and we are family of 6 F1 fans supporting 4 different teams but it simply isn’t worth the risk of using them again as a UK based consumer. Finally at one point they suggested that if I could research UK import duties they would be happy to put the information in their website, rather missing the point. This review was prompted by what was I presume an automatically generated email asking me to review my order, could not in good conscience ignore it. I saw one trust pilot review in the same vein which I frustratingly did not read prior to ordering, the company asked the review to remove their comments, I’m saying now don’t bother the same with me unless you are actually prepared to engage with provision of a credit note.

Post script 13th December - FansBrands are now claiming in their response to have offered me money back but that I am the one not responding. This is not true. I have emailed them this morning asking to see the emails and saying more importantly if they are offering a refund they should apply it - if they do I can further edit my review but blaming a lack of response from me is just not truthful at this point. I have forwarded the string of unanswered emails I sent.

Update: Post my trust pilot review the company did get in touch and did provide me with a refund based on the discounts I did not receive - so this offset the import charges by 50%. Shame it took the review to set this in motion but that was much appreciated.

I am still waiting for your answer via email, you didn't reply. I told you twice, we can give you a refund of more than 60€, but you didn't even reacted anything for that.

Unfortunately we have nothing to do with the import charges. It is the own responsibility of customers to find out the exact rules about the customs costs in thier own country. Noone has capacity to update all these data about all the countries on the world.

We can only give you informations why do you need to pay that amount. Also we give exclusive discounts to non-EU customers, which is unique in the world, but if you don't accept it, we can't do anything.

Damaged Helmet Box

I have purchased 3 items. 2 ferrari bags and leclerc helmet. The bags are great but the box of the helmet is highly damaged from the inside and not presentable to be given as a gift. Very disappointed.

Paid 77% of my product price as customs charges despite paying shipping

I paid a little over 80 EUR worth of custom duties on a 103 EUR Ferrari sweatshirt despite paying fan brands the shipping charges because Fanbrands sent my package as a private parcel rather than an company parcel.

In my honest opinion, get your F1 merch from the official F1 website (F1 store)

Hi Gavin! Thanks for your reply. I am Tamas from FansBRANDS and checked your issue. As I know my colleague from the sales asked you to send the documents you got from your country's customs and she could kindly investigate why do you have soo much extra duty. Unfortunately you didn't send her anything and then you took over the package without contacting with her.

On the other hand, I don't really understand the message, "package as private rather than company". Since we are contract partners of UPS, we can't even ship anyithing as "private" (there is no such on option).

Next time please stay in touch with our customer support, so we maybe could help you! But since there is really no one who can affect the rules of another country, always contact the customs in advance!

And of course your didn't have to take over the package: it returns to us and we could pay back your money. Please consider to modify the rating, because we really want to help all of our customers, if they leave ;)
