Epson for me used to be the benchmark in home printers...not anymore, they make cheap printers that don't allow customers to use quality 3rd party ink cartridges which cost a fraction of Epsons, I hav... See more

Epson's after sales service is the worst I have ever encoutered
Epson is the worst company that I have ever dealt with in my life and their aftersales service is non-existent, particularly their totally useless virtual robot. My previous Epson EcoTank printer packed up earlier this week and I purchased a new EcoTank ET-2860 and managed to get it set up to print from my laptop. However, despite hours spent on this I have failed to get it connected to my iPhone for printing. I have tried to contact Epson for advice, but have got nowhere. It would be easier to get an audience with the King than to be able to speak to someone from Epson. This company just doesn't care about customer relations.
Worst customer service ever
Worst customer service ever. Placed a big order with them. They call me just to hang up on my face 3 times. They cancel my order. Product went out of stock, they don't give you a proper reason for the cancellation. Later I call they say I cancelled it, which I didn't. The supervisor just didn't care, customer relations did not do anything but say call your bank and transferred me to sales again, where the sales person was confused and not sure what to do. She promised to give me a call back with more information on lead time. Its been days now. Worst service ever, funniest thing is the Shaquille O'Neal automation voice saying you're V.I.P, when they treat their customers bad.
I ordered an ink cartridge for my printer
I ordered an ink cartridge for my printer. The site and my order confirmation stated I would get it within 3-4 business days. Four (4) business days later I checked the tracking status with Purolator (Epson's Carrier) and it stated they had printed the label, but had not yet received the package, my order. I called Epson only to be told that due to U.S. holiday, the order would not be shipped until next week, a week later than promised. I live in Canada, and I ordered through their Canadian site. I am very disappointed, and I will never order from them again.
Awful company
Awful company. Customer service is a disgrace. It's very hard to contact them and the chat option is stupid and very frustrating. I hate this company. I just wanted to smash my XP-2200 to pieces. I am very very frustrated. I only want to change my flexi -plan to 15 pages a month because I don't use the printer often now. I have been trying now hours.
Absolute trash
Absolute trash. The fact that they can continue to sell printers in the United States, or at all, is a Condemnationton of the curent state of our Capitalistic environment. Buisness is built on deception. You can say anything you want in an ad, regardless of what the actual product produces. A printer is only as good as its ability to print, and Epson is worthless. Be forewarned. If this saves one consumer from wasting their Money and time, I'm satisified. Purchase an Epson and get a taste of the victimization of the bureaucratic capitalistic society. I could market a beautiful top of the line electronic device, then send you an electronic box with a pile of poo inside. Then I'd be rich and you'd have an Epson printer. Welcome to America, Sucker.
Tried contacting their helpline
Tried contacting their helpline, operator knew less than me. Gave me fob off information, which was useless. Emailed their helpline three weeks ago, no reply. More than useless. Can’t return printer to Curry’s because out of 14 returns policy. Do not buy Epson Printers. Managed to get sorted, AI was brilliant.
Doesn't have a single good product
Doesn't have a single good product
Everything is engineered to break so you have to go and buy another one
Fake Promotion
I bought my Epson printer from John Lewis. There was a promotional offer of £50 cashback. Great!... So I filled in the online form with a photo of my receipt. After a day or so I get an email saying they haven't got my proof of purchase. There is a link in the email 'You can upload a photo of your receipt here... So I take another photo and the link is useless. There is a chat bot which says upload on phone... or computer... I tried both... You get a blank screen with a circle which goes round and round... This company is a joke.
Trash Customer Service
Customer service employees are not understandable and unhelpful. Successive calls (3 half hour calls!) with long wait times and long reference numbers. This experience has tried our patience and we will never purchase from this company again. This is the second printer that we have bought from Epson, and it jammed during the ink initialization process. It is cheap and definitely not worth $200.
I would say a negative -4
I would say a negative -4. Worst customer service ever. I have been on the phone for over an hour with an agent I can hardly understand that is outsourced somewhere in Asia. If you wanted to lose your customers with horrible customer service you have succeeded! I have a printer issue that an agent does not understand and asks me the same question over and over. I have sent 4 photos, emails they could not find to confirm, and re-send to another. I am so frustrated. I work from home my printer says the ink is out, I just replaced it, then send a photo of the error message, they didn't get it because I do not speak their language and of course that makes me a horrible person, right? Then I am asked to send proof of purchase, which I have done as well. I just want my printer to work. I guess they would rather I purchase Canon or another product, I have purchased over the years up to 4 printers from Epson, no longer.
Everything about epson is terrible
Everything about epson is terrible.
I have had multiple printers that dont work. Either the alignment is out so you get streaks all over you photo. Or the cartridges dont work. These are even epson cartridges.
I was told that you can only use epson photo paper with their printers, this is £25 for 20 sheets. Ridiculous. It still doesn't work.
And dont get me started on the customer service. They are a complete waste of time. Absolutely incapable of doing their job. I have been told 11 times that someone will get back to me in two hours, still havent had an answer. I have to keep calling their support team and they have even given incorrect details. I am still waiting for my replacement printer which has been promised for the last 5 days. They keep saying its out for delivery, and it never turns up.
I have Absolutely nothing good to say about epson.
DO NOT GET ONE!!!!!
Apalling. Defective products and poor customer service
Appalling...
Product dies just past warranty.
They offer me a discount to buy another from them
Don't deliver the new product for 5 weeks - i called to remind them.
New product arrives and is faulty.
had to talk to 3 people to get a return slip
will not refund until 2 weeks after receiving the return.
honestly - save your time and money.
I bought an Epson printer which broke a few days after the warranty expired. The printer was hardly used (who prints much these days?). Epson offered me a discount to buy a replacement off of their website. 6 weeks later (yes - that long) i receive my printer after calling them to remind them to send it. The new printer arrives and has the same error message as my previous. I spent hours on calls to various support staff to get my refund. total 5 calls
My experience with Epson product and…
My experience with Epson product and support has been very bad.
I bought an epson projector. Firstly, the projector keep having issues with hdmi compatibility. Then suddenly the projector stopped working. The support has been shocking. I contacted them repeatedly over several weeks because my LS300B projector is stuck in a boot loop with blue lights. All I asked for was basic help or the firmware file that could potentially fix the issue. Instead of offering any real support, they gave me the same useless answer every time: buy a new projector.
They ignored multiple emails, never addressed the actual technical problem, and didn’t even bother to reply after my follow-ups. It’s unbelievable that a company selling premium electronics can’t provide a simple firmware file or basic troubleshooting guidance.
At this point, it’s clear Epson support is more interested in pushing customers to purchase replacement units than actually helping solve a fixable issue. Very disappointing and a huge red flag for anyone considering their products.
These printers simply do not work
These printers simply do not work, never buy one because it’s literally not worth a penny but will cost you about £50 for each black and white document you want to print . They are a bunch of scammers
RUBBISH CUSTOMER SERVICES
RUBBISH CUSTOMER SERVICES. I ordered ink for a home printer. It didn't arrive, so I emailed, with all the details. It took several more emails until they apparently agreed to dispatch a replacement, which then also didn't arrive. More emails, till they've finally agreed to refund me (less 45p for some reason) - I'll see if that materialises. The whole order was for just less than £12, but the delay was stupid and unnecessary. Taken 4 weeks and three days so far. Next time I'll go to Rymans or get it off Ebay (which would have been cheaper in the first place).
If I can leave no stars I most…
If I can leave no stars I most certainly would. This goes for Epson ready print company. I have been fighting with them the past week and half and I have gotten nowhere with them. My account showed that I didn't owe them nothing and about a week ago they turned my printer off for non payment. I just simply called them and asked what's going on and they said that I haven't made a payment but I made a payment when I signed up for the subscription so explain that. Then they said that it was a un authorization to where the money came back to me. Nope my bank had no records of the money coming back to me. So we argued back and forth about this as. The company can't get back with you in a timely matter no matter what the issue is. They pretty much don't know half the time what's going on with the account.
Readyprint scam!
Bought my Epson printer 2 years ago. I immediately signed up for the Readyprint offer which promised 50 pages every month for just 2.99.
Sounded like a good deal. I've let it ride even though I have only ever received 1 pack of cartridges. Last week I decided that I wasn't using it enough so cancelled the subscription. Went to print something this afternoon and it appears that Epson have disabled my printer remotely. I can't use it until I buy new cartridges. Unbelievable!
Epson online is so bad
Epson online is so bad, I wouldn't give it a star, but I have to. Epson asks: "What went wrong this time? How can this company improve? Remember to be honest, helpful, and constructive!”
First, how about do what you ask of the customer, above? Epson isn’t honest, helpful nor constructive. I am trying return a printer I received yesterday. I was given 3 different arrival times. They make it almost impossible to return an item, like a printer. Somewhere, I found that a customer has 30 days to return an item such as my printer. But they write me “Return the merchandise within 7 days to avoid expiration of your return authorization.” I find this weird, to put it so very nicely. They are rude, if you manage to get a human on the phone as well as live chat. I would recommend, Epson, you get that straightened out, along with being helpful rather than adversarial. I could continue, but you get the gist of Epson. My advice to prospective customers is do not order directly from Epson.
I ordered a lamp and it said 3-4…Now at 8 days hasn't been shipped, Bye Bye World Series
I ordered a lamp and it said 3-4 delivery. Now at 8 days and item hasn't been shipped. Can't watch World Series on projector. Next lamp will be ordered from my regular independant supplier . Much more reliable. Don't lose your time ordering form Epson not reliable as delivery date.
Contacted Epson Support to assist with…
Contacted Epson Support to assist with a printer not connecting. Said a technician would contact me shortly. Received a call, connected to PC and then proceeded to tell me I had malware and in order to fix it, it would cost me £ 100, when I said no he started getting abusive. I put the phone down and disconnected my PC. According to Epsons website this is not supposed to happen, however when you call to complain, no one picks up. Is this internal and EPSON don't care ! ?????????????????? Unbelievable I will NEVER BUY EPSON AGAIN. EVER !
