Booking was clear and straightforward. The staff at pick-up and drop-off were pleasant, helpful and efficient, and the car itself was excellent (and upgraded from the type I booked). I would certainly use this company again.

I used Ecarz.co.uk to book car hire for a recent trip to Portugal. I couldn't believe how easy it was and the value for money you get. It took less than 30 mins to find the right deal, pay and receive the car rental voucher. Turned up on the day and was pleasantly surprised how simple the whole transaction was. Would definitely use again.

Great customer service at pick up.

The ride from the airport is free but beware the timetable for the buses as they sometimes only run every 40mins so you could be late for your pick up!

Greatest car rental experience I've got till now. They didn't have the KIA Shortage I've ordered, so the local partner upgraded my booking to BMW X5 with no extra charge! Love it.

Really easy to book and simple pick up of the car. Staff at car hire place were really helpful. The added insurance for the excess was a god send, saved us a fortune on extra cover.

Great, friendly service, cheap to hire and decent car. I would have awarded 5 stars had I not had to 'pre-pay' for a full tank of fuel at the time of collection. Had I not been going a long distance I would have been left out of pocket.

We booked a Fiat 500 through Goldcar from Toulouse Airport. The price was a good one. We had to wait a while to collect the car but as we were the last flight in, that was expected. We decided to upgrade to a Renault Clio at only 2 Euros a day extra which was good value. The only downside we had was that as we did not take their additional insurance we were told of the many liabilities which we would have if there was an accident, damage, the car was back late etc., which I suppose was necessary but there seemed so many of them! We also found out that even though we were picking the car up at 2300 we had to have it back by between 1500-1600 on the return day. As we were picking the car up late we were told to ring in the following morning with any disagreements with the condition of the car. There were a few dents extra not shown on the chart so we sent photos as requested and they accepted them. The return of the car was easy. The car ran well with no mechanical problems.

Found Ecarz search engine easy to use & was pleased because it found car rental deals for a 5-door car that were quite a bit cheaper than deals I found using other search engines. I opted for a Gold Car rental deal with pick-up & drop-off at Malaga Airport, Spain. I didn't have to wait long when collecting & returning the car. Gold Car don't operate a 'fair fuel' policy, but I was told my credit card would be re-imbursed for unused fuel - this did not happen. Very pleased with the hire car & generally pleased with the service I received, except there was no manual so I had to rely on trial & error to find out how various controls worked.

Whole process of hiring a car at Keflavik airport couldn't have been easier, booking was simple and quick. No queue at all at the desk when we arrived, car was waiting for us right outside the airport, a couple of forms to sign and away we went. On return again no queue, car was checked over in a few minutes and then we were taken back to the airport in a minibus which took 2-3 minutes. And the hire price was less than a one-way taxi ride into Reykjavik!!

Easy pick up and drop off at merignac airport, Bordeaux ...no overselling of extras, decent car, petrol full to full. Booked with interrent, car was europcar, a model of how to do it without leaving the renter traumatised before leaving the air port!

When car booked was not available - car was traded to up to a brand new car. Very comfortable and economical. Overall experience was very good. Thank you.
