No Help after 45 minutes clarifying claims

I needed to appeal my Claim decision, where expenses according to EU regulations were not covered. I called this number as the online Chat told me to do so. The call took me 45 minutes + waiting time and will Costa a Fortune of Money. In that time I explained the relevant expenses in Detail. In between I needed to wait more Times until the contract Person got a reply. After 45 minutes the contract Person explained to me that I need to Claim this again and she cannot do anything for me as she ist Not from the Claims Team (that would have been clear after 2 min!!). Then I told her that she needs to Forward that Case to Take Claims Team and asked for her Name. Then she Hang Up the call. Obvs. Nothing solved after 45 minutes!

Someone dealing with me for a 5 hour…

Someone dealing with me for a 5 hour day - told me to have a great day!!! Not really the best thing to say in this situation. Been delayed for 4 hours and 58 mins so far and told that that flight is due to take off in 5 more hours, but they disconnected with me and told me to recontact in 2 more minutes! Nothing is going to change in that time!

The live chat worked well

The live chat worked well. Amira quickly changed my accidentally booked large cabin bags to hold bags. And I only had to pay an additional charge for this, and the cost was offset by the fee I'd already paid for large cabin bags.
Amira was very efficient.

Easyjet don't sort more than 1 night of accommodation following flight cancellations

Our flight was cancelled due to a power outage. We couldn't get another flight for 2 days. Easyjet booked us the first night in a hotel with no problem but what a fight I had to get the second night paid for. It was literally the last minute before we had to leave for the airport that the hotel received confirmation although I had been told on the live chat the previous day that the hotel would receive it within 90 minutes which didn't happen and the hotel didn't tell us until an hour before we had to leave. Very stressful. Not impressed.
