Was served by Rachel in the Gilesgate store who couldn't do enough to help. She greeted myself and my sister upon entering, and we explained we were looking for a double bed for me, wood if possible and she showed us all the wooden frames in stock, and online, and gave her recommendations on mattresses based on my budget. She was very professional, attentive, patient, and helpful and went out of her way to get me the best deal. I bought the Richmond double bed in grey, and a silent night duvet plus 4 silent night pillows which were half price. I left the store very happy with my purchase and the customer service received and would highly recommend visiting the store rather than ordering online as the staff are all so knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions honestly so you know what you're getting. The bed was delivered 2 weeks after ordering and I absolutely love it.

Bought a Matress from the Durham Dreams Branch. Leanne who met me at the door gave great advice, very friendly and not pressurising at all for a sale.

Don't believe a word their sales assistant's tell you. We ordered a bed frame and mattress in July. We were told delivery would be the 12th of August, because the mattress would be made to order in Northallerton, North Yorkshire. The bed frame was supposedly in stock. Delivery date has now been put back twice, the second time because of the strike by workers at Felixstowe docks. Why this should affect an item being made in the UK baffles me. Can only assume that the bed frame is made outside the UK, and it was not in stock as we were told. Thought Bensons for beds was bad, Dreams are far worse

Rachel at dreams Durham what amazing customer service, friendly, professional and informative throughout the time in the store- great ambassador for the company. The product bought is of high quality and Rachel knew how to match my needs to the right mattress.

The lady in shop was very helpful with everything, not forceful and explained things well. The delivery and assembly of the bed was very good.

10/10 experience from start to finish and only took 20 mins from been welcomed to going on the sleep machine to purchasing my mattress

Trevor had great knowledge regarding the different types of mattresses available and took time for us to try try each one and explained the differences to us to be able to make an informed choice.

Using the sleep machine really helped us to understand what we needed from a mattress and when paying such a considerable amount of money that will last a number of years than taking the time to invest was insightful.

Excellent service, Rachel at the Belmont store in Durham could not have been more helpful and friendly to deal with. Can't wait for our new mattress!

Great service, very welcoming as soon as we entered the store. We were shown the sleep match machine to find the best mattress that suits me the best. Such and easy process highly recommend to family and friends.

Visited the Durham store yesterday for a new mattress.
Wow, very rare I use excellent but this visit was that thanks to Rachel who was a delight to deal with.
First class advice, made to feel valued and together with a touch of humour and good honest values from Rachel helped us make the right choice and taking away some of the guesswork involved in choosing a mattress - thank you.
As for the in store “ dream maker “ experience, it’s something everyone must try.

I have just had the best experience in a bed store Dreams at Durham. Rachel was my assistant she welcomed me with a smile new straight away I was in good hands. She listened to my story which was it had to have storage underneath cat prove so I actually bought a wooden bed and took out the 8 Year insurance. Cat prove enough for me. Well done Rachel.

Received excellent service at the Durham Dreams store from Expert Rachel. Really knowledgeable, friendly and obliging. Allowed us to browse on our own after giving us clear and concise guidance. A great range beds to choose from and able to check which was right choice. A very good experience.

Very helpful team, showed us around and talked about the different options but also gave us time and room to make decisions.

The experience at DREAMS in Durham was exceptional. To arrive at a furniture store to be given a tour, offered and tutored through the 'find your dream mattress' computational programme and then offered a bottle of water, a pillow and person tour of mattresses was something new for us. At no point were we pressurised into buying a mattress, pillow or topper. The ladies allowed us much time to try everything out and make our minds up. We left the store to go home and contemplate and returned the next day to complete the transaction. The delivery team were exceptional, great communication, on time, organised, and very polite. We have slept like logs - fabulous! Thanks everyone.

My wife and i got a new mattress from dreams which i need for my bad back. We tried they dream sleep machine that helped us get the correct mattress. They were most helpful.
