they didn't keep my constantly updated, tbh i was expecting them too but i order something that was on back order for 2-3 months, but they did answer me when they have the answer when i asked. When i requested if i could get expedited shifted they upgraded it for me for free even when i payed for normal shipping

Mwave used to be good, since Digidirect took them over, incompetent.
Most recent order was over $1000NZ, therefore AUS GST should not have been applied, it was, and that exceeded customs values in NZ, meaning its now in limbo whilst we wait for Mwave to respond to them. Meanwhile, its been 22 hours since I started a chat with them, and had no response, I've also send a support ticket, which again I've no response to. But before I bought, they were very quick to respond.
Just money grabbing, wasting my time, I'll be demanding a refund if they don't respond in a timely manner.
Yet 15 months ago I ordered a similar priced item (more actually), shipped quick, declarations done, arrived on time, no issues.
Great Service. Mark A was my cusotmer support. He has done great job to answer my questions and helped to solve the order problem.

From the minute I walked into the shop the staff were lovely. Very helpful, knowledgable and willing to spend a lot of time with me making sure I was getting what I wanted and needed. I got the best price from Digidirect for my Canon R10 camera with 18-150mm lens. Delivery was fast. The online chat could be improved in terms of product knowledge. I was told that the camera didn't come with a battery or charger when I asked which was incorrect and almost swayed me to go with another retailer - no effort was made to check the info. I'm still waiting for my $200 gift card which was supposed to be part of the offer.

This review is of the digiDirect Customer Service Team only. My order was shipped without 1 item. I contacted the Customer Service Team. Reymark checked straight away and came back to me that the item is in stock and was being prepped and will be despatched straight away.

Total shit.
Tried to buy a Sigma 24mm lens - no mention of stock levels on the website.
Placed the order, then get an email stating it will be 3-4 weeks at least:
"As noted on our website at the time of purchase, this item is currently Awaiting Stock. Please note that all estimated arrival times are subject to change, but we will keep a close eye on the status and do our best to keep you informed."
There is no mention of the the lens being out of stock or wait times on the website.
Have now sent 4 emails to try and cancel the order two days after placing it.

"We do our best to indicate when items are out of stock before purchase..."
Absolute bollocks do you. Nothing on the website to indicate stock levels or long restock delays.

I recently purchased a Sony 50-150mm lens and it’s wider on the glass end with the lens hood so didn’t fit any of my current smaller camera bags. For some uses I only need the only camera and lens so rather than taking my big camera backpack I ordered the Wandrd Rogue 9L Sling Bag from Digidirect. I had seen one in store a few weeks ago but wanted to check actual dimensions of my lens and camera before purchasing. Digidirect were super fast in sending it out so I have it in time this weekend for a school ball photo shoot.
