Praise

Just reading some reviews before and had to double check if I was writing a review for the same company. CWC solicitors dealt with the probate/estate and the selling of my late sister's property. Although a bit pricey and a couple of times needing to chase things up, they dealt with everything I asked them to do professionally. It wasn't an easy task being that I live so far away and have never dealt with anything like this before. I couldn't have done it without them.

awful

They acted for my buyers. The solicitor's behaviour was extraordinary. The transaction was a terrible nightmare which took five and a half months to get to exchange.

I definitely would not recommend this…

I definitely would not recommend this solicitor so much so that when the transaction fell through I started again with a different firm. (They were going to charge me £2k more than the other firm even though most of the work had been done) Poor communication even when getting close to exchange. Defensive attitude if you complain. Tried overcharging me. Expect you to do all the work. Other solicitors in the chain complained about them and every estate agent I spoke to wouldn’t recommend them. I have complained but have so far waited 2 months for a response.

A UK human rights case was won with the help of Louise Dickinson and her firm cwcsolicitors, potentially saving my father's life.

I applied for an Adult Depend Relative (ADR) visa for my disabled, bed-bound father, who was not receiving adequate care in his home country in India. I followed all the necessary steps and criteria as per UKBA law with the guidance of my solicitor, Louise Dickinson. However, the UK home office held onto the application for six months before ultimately refusing it. Despite reaching out to local councillors, the decision remained unchanged. I was disheartened, but my skilled and experienced solicitor, Louise Dickinson, encouraged me to continue fighting and we filed the case to the tribunal court. Although the home office confirmed their interest in dragging this case to a hearing, they did not show up on the day. A few weeks later, the judge declared the case in our favour.

"I firmly believe that my successful outcome was only possible due to the alignment of my papers, statements, and pieces of evidence and along with the skilled guidance provided by my solicitor from day 1. During the hearing, I vividly recall how my solicitor represented me by delivering a clear and concise opening statement. As a result, I did not receive any uncomfortable questions from the Judge, and the case was resolved in just a couple of weeks.

I confidently recommend Louise Dickinson, an experienced and dedicated immigration solicitor. She is skilled, knowledgeable, polite and a great communicator.

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking, they NEVER reply to your emails, or keep you in the loop. I am nearly a year into buying a house and hardly any progress has been made because of their terrible customer service, they do not care about you, they, fob you off with we will call you back when you try to phone them, they never call back, they don’t even reply to the solicitors of the opposite party. Avoid these crooks.

The worst solicitors, AVOID AVOID AVOID

I am having the exact same experience as the other lady who is given CWC a bad review. Do not waste your time and money with a law firm that will happily waste your time, fob you off and not touch base with you or reply to your emails. They have also wasted 5 weeks of our time and myself and the lovely estate agent has done most of the work ourselves. I wouldn't wish this law firm's horrific service or lack of communication on anyone. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Really disappointed- terrible communication.

Really disappointed with the service we have received from this company. We are first time buyers and went with this particular firm off a recommendation. And all I can say is I wish we didn’t. The first solicitor who was in charge of our sale was really responsive, kept us in the loop. However since being told she’s leaving we’ve been handed over to someone else. Who we have had zero contact with at all- it’s taken dozens of calls and emails to finally get a response from him to only be told today that he hasn’t even looked at our paperwork yet. Really appalled with the service certainly wouldn’t use them again.
I’m left feeling really upset with the whole process, it feels like we have wasted the last 5 weeks with them- as it seems our paperwork has been left on a desk and not looked at because it’s a shared ownership home.
Avoid at all costs
