I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Crazy Domains.
What initially appeared to be a reasonably priced domain registration quickly turned into a long list of additional charges for services that many providers include as standard.
I was surprised to discover that basic DNS management requires a paid "Premium DNS" upgrade, despite DNS management being a standard feature offered by many registrars. After paying a significant amount for this service, I then found that SSL certificates are also treated as an additional paid feature.
What makes this even more frustrating is that my website is hosted on Vercel, which provides free SSL certificates. However, the way the domain is configured through Crazy Domains appears to prevent me from taking advantage of that, leaving me feeling forced into paying an additional $90 per year for something that should already be available.
By the time I add up the domain registration, Premium DNS, and SSL costs, I'm paying close to $200 per year simply to maintain the basic functionality of a website.
Unfortunately, this experience has felt more like a constant upsell than a customer-focused service. Once my current subscription period ends, I will be moving my domains elsewhere and would not recommend Crazy Domains to anyone looking for transparent pricing and modern hosting support.

Incompetent support does not know the difference between creation and propagation of DNS records.
Forcing customers to purchase "Premium DNS" subscription just to add an SPF record is completely ridiculous. It is a fundamental security requirement for modern email, not a luxury feature. Without it, major email providers like Gmail and M365 will block or send your emails straight to spam. Locking basic security tools behind a paywall is a terrible practice which you will not see at any other major registrar.
Stay well away.
PS: Wow, what a truly amAIzing response from Crazy DomAIns! I remAIn thoroughly unimpressed by this certAInly sincere and totAl-ly human brush-off.

The issue - could not access email for over 6 weeks. Called from OS but no resolution. On return contacted Crazy D0main for assistance on Sunday/ Monday - 5 hrs on phone /Tues similar time spent and still no resolution except being told someone would call me back - never did just received escalation codes for reference and then email that issue resolved. On Wednesday with still no resolution I refused to be fobbed off again and kept asking for a Manager and finally got Rexy who I must say was outstanding on every level. Firstly she seemed to understand the issue very quickly even though she could not resolve immediately she knew what was required. Secondly she called me back within a 5 - 10 min time frame when she promised she would over a 2 day period - EXTRAORDINARY SERVICE on every level. Thirdly she took the time to explain and answer all my questions and add additional information to give greater understanding. Fourthly she was proactive in giving additional information to assist with understanding. An EXCEPTIONAL employee for CRAZY DOMAIN and one who needs to be valued on every level.

Migration of our website was a complex exercise, but CD really managed it well. All done now!
Thanks!

Jaynnie, the CD agent, was very helpful and knowledgeable. She listened to my request, asked questions until she was sure she got it then went and solved my request. Very impressed with Jaynnie.

The Agent SHEENA guided me through the transitions of email migrations including reinstating & upgrading Outlook 365, the complicated issues of dealing with POP & IMAP was dealt with via Team Viewer. End result was a marvelous surprise to me & took away a lot of anxiety. Top marks to Sheena, and many thanks for the extra efforts by phone ( some 80 minutes )

View the ACCC website for how Crazy Domains is misleading you into false payments. The agent was slow, uncaring and obnoxious.

This is what I am writing for crazydomain.ae. They are just wasting my time, almost one week past no improvements have been made to my request. Just making a fool of me. Thing is that I purchased a domain last week and still it's not active, tried reaching out and every time I heard that my request is marked as high priority but I got no positive action taken.

Tech support is the worst. 7 days and counting it has been since I redeployed one site from word press hosting to a linux host. Under there advise by the way. They assured me that the site would be up and running by days end. . . Then the next day came, and the next, Each time the same tech response was "It will be fixed within the hour, we'll call you within the hour" And then the next day came, and the next, and the next. . . Day 8! and the response is, "It will be fixed within the hour" I have a lot of transcripts of the messaging conversations but not of the numerous phone chats. Buyer beware! As of midday 27/05 the response from my latest call was that my case had been sent to the wrong department. The right tech support is currently the PSSH team and the new case number would be 1-25551060 and I'm still waiting. 28/05 Today I'm having a nice phone chat with Joy. Wow she seems like a lovely person. So will she give me a happy ending? Apparently not. I need to wait till days end. I guess I'll be calling them tomorrow. Maybe I'll get a better response . . . Nope, they assured me the problem will be rectified either this evening or in another 24 hours. Stay tuned. 29/05 Shannon is on the line today, She seems like a lovely gal, very pleasant to talk to. Will my matter be resolved. Will I get satisfact. . .oh no, No! Shannon don't send me to . . . and I'm now at someone's voice message trying to explain my predicament with only a 20 second message window. So I phone again. Next contestant and it's Romeo on the line. Sounds like a top guy. They're all great people. Kind considerate of my plight. So will he be the one to redeem Crazy domains lack of savvy Tech support? Romeo goes on to explain that my case has now escalated to tear 3. Apparently this is the highest tech emergency rank there is. I am honoured. I have to say goodbye to Romeo as he transfers to my new buddy, my new pal, my new saviour Jose! He'll be taking charge of my case from now on. For Jose is the top ranking supervisor, the bees knees, the big Kahuna, the buck stops with him, apparently. His response? He'll get to the bottom of this. He'll find out why it's been 9 going on 10 days and still no resolution . It will be fix! Jose promised . . . Jose assured me! Unfortunately I need to wait till this afternoon to receive a call from my new buddy pal . . . If not then being Friday our next interaction will be 3 days from now. I believe in Jose, I believe he'll be the one to redeem the negative splotch besieging Crazy Domains tech support. Stay tuned!

If you have a .UK domain name. Go elsehwhere. Go now. Do not waste your time with this outfit.
Service issues: (1) DNS updates are slow. (2) Support is slow. (3) If you want to move your domain, the antiquated service provision they offer is poor.
If I believed complaining would do anything I would. Ultimately, paid Nominet to update the IPS tags and all the changes went through immediately. A customer for 7 years. No-longer.

Used to be good.. now awful.
What happened to this company? They got bought out and absorbed by a company that does not care about it's customers.
I have 35 projects and domains with CD and on one shared server have had 50% uptime. Went down exactly the same time, every day. but, it was my fault according to them.
Get your developer to look into it. Which I already had. and knew it was a server resource issue.
Cron jobs they advised. There were zero cron jobs set on this project.
Server usage.. the site is a test site and has next to zero traffic.
No matter what I said, it was pushed back to me. can't help you sorry.
Decided to pull the pin after 10 years - even right now updating DNS records.. their system has been stuck for 24 hours on pending. Took 10 attempts over 3 days to even log in to my accounts due to issues with their own website.
I used to get calls from account managers to see how things were going and proactive help.. been sitting on their support chat queue now for 45 minutes.. waiting.. if I don't say Ok every 8 minutes, it kicks me off due to no activity even though I'm waiting for them!

Aaron from the support team sorted out a tricky addon-domain configuration on my Business Hosting plan within minutes via chat, enabled the addon slot, installed AutoSSL, and configured the Force HTTPS redirect. Clearly explained each step as he went. Refreshing to deal with someone who fixes the actual problem rather than reading from a script. Thanks Aaron.

I have had my website and email hosted with them for around ten years. It used to be a good place to host my simple website, where I could use a wysiwyg editor to quickly make basic website edits, such as changing my opening hours or listing when I was away, etc.
Go to update my website today and find the wysiwyg editor has been 'deprecated'. I am told to go and see a web developer. I am quite capable of managing the html for my basic website, it just takes longer.
There was absolutely no communication about this feature being deprecated and I had to spend an hour with chat support to be told.
Very poor communication and customer support.

Website is full of PR hype about how great the company is at assisting people but in fact it doesn't. It is almost impossible to get hold of a real person. The chat A.I. service is completely useless and has a narrow range of questions it allows to be asked, mostly marketing stuff. Won't allow you to talk to a human, if in fact they still have many on the staff.

Turned off auto-renew three times. Still charged the next day. They refused to provide a refund. Go elsewhere...this lot are a bunch of over priced scammers.
