Great service this morning at East Dock…
Great service this morning at East Dock Road in Newport, friendly staff and first class service especially from ‘Frayer’.
A pleasure to visit!
Their coffee is my go to each morning
OVERPRICED AND SCRUFFY
Visited Costa in Windermere recently… I ordered two ‘small’ coffees and two millionaire shortbread’s….. I didn’t pay attention to the cost (my fault) it was £15.55
What a rip off, the coffee was ok the millionaire shortbread was dry as old sticks..
Staff were friendly but the place was scruffy and dirty tables
I get sick of these places ripping off the public with sub standard food, crappy environment and overpriced food
Will avoid this place on next visit
Dear Costa Coffee Management,
Dear Costa Coffee Management,
I would like to make a formal complaint regarding the behavior of a member of staff at your Costa Coffee branch at Clapham Junction Station, Platform 9.
Today, I visited the store and was spoken to in a rude and disrespectful manner by one of your employees. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have experienced this. Every time I visit this branch, the same employee has the same unfriendly and disrespectful attitude.
As a customer, I expect to be treated with courtesy and respect. There is no excuse for repeatedly speaking to customers in an unprofessional way. This behavior reflects poorly on Costa Coffee and creates an unpleasant experience.
I kindly ask that this matter be investigated and that appropriate action be taken to ensure customers are treated respectfully in the future. I hope to see a positive improvement in the service at this location.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Makes a nice change
Just been in the Costa at the Ashford Outlet centre. The staff are the happiest I’ve ever met. Service was great as well, couldn’t fault anything.

The Costa at QE Hospital Woolwich is…
The Costa at QE Hospital Woolwich is not Disabled friendly, there is no room for wheelchairs in their cafe area, being a hospital you would think they would have put a bit more thought into the layout etc
Pastry not good
Bought coffee and pan au raisin at 8.30am. at Royal Surrey Hospital. Pastry was dry and tasteless. Staff assured me it was fresh. Costa web feedback didn't work. I paid for an inferior product and would not waste my money again. Costa needs to review supplier.
The coffee here has changed…
The coffee here has changed drastically! It’s not nice it’s like getting a cup of milk. Years ago it was really nice and I would go often. But it’s a waste of money £5 for a cup of milk!
Very disappointed
Very disappointed with my recent visit to Costa Coffee. You never have the drinks available and you're stores never tall costumes that you ran out until you get to the tiles For the price you pay, I expected much better quality and customer service. Unfortunately, this experience has made me think twice about returning. I hope improvements are made in both service and cleanliness.

I visited the Costa in Tesco store at…Fishbourne, Chichester
I visited the Costa in Tesco store at Fishbourne, Chichester at 12.30 on a Saturday. I was very disappointed. Every other cafe frappe I have had has been lovely this one was awful, normally I don’t have to sugar it and it is a frappe not iced coffee. I queried it and was offered another one but felt it would be the same. I also ordered a toasted tea cake which he forgot to put in then proceeded to burn it. At this point I didn’t want either and did not enjoy them. Whilst eating and drinking 3 people left the queue as it was such a slow service. It’s a shame and not what I expect from Costa.
Costa Coffee at Basingstoke Hospital is…AWFUL
Costa Coffee at Basingstoke Hospital is the worst service I have ever received from a Costa! Went there this morning (Saturday) - they failed to acknowledge the customers, they take so long to make a couple of drinks - there were 2 people ahead of me waiting for drinks to be made - I mean how long does it take to click a couple of buttons on a machine, its not as if they are picking the coffee beans and milling it! The young blonde girl proceeded to serve the customer ahead of me, which was the correct thing to do and then I asked if she could please just scan my water - I was buying a bottle of sparkling water and then she told me to wait! I mean are you for real - how long does it take to scan a bottle of water through a till - I come from a retail background and it takes less than 5 seconds to scan a product, so I am very aggrieved by the attitude and the lack of service! Even in the week when I come here - its such a long queue and the staff's attitude is - you just have to wait with no apology to the customers for having them kept waiting - they make it sound as if the customers are the problem! They also don't smile or are friendly! Not a great service here. and such a shame to have this concession store in the hospital when one is dealing with staff, anxious patients and members of the public! Most disgruntled!
The staff at Thurmaston Costa in Asda…
The staff at Thurmaston Costa in Asda were sadly lacking in basic customer service skills.
Unfriendly and more interested in chatting amongst themselves.
The staff member putting my drink on my tray initially got it mixed up putting the wrong one on (mine was caramel the other hazelnut)
When I asked for clarification that it was now the right one as I have a nut allergy, the staff member and manager looked at me like was crazy. And said yes look it’s caramel-I’m not certain I could confirm the different syrups by merely looking at it in the bottom of a glass.
The store was not busy at all and there were 3 members of staff behind the counter.
A very poor experience indeed.
Service was excellent Costa Coffee, Spanish Latté is too sweet
Service was excellent at Costa Coffee, Bailey Drive,Christchurch, Dorset.
Due to the Spanish Latte being too rich & sweet, I'll be sticking to my usual "flat white" or "Latté".
2 hours afterwards, I became confused, dizzy & generally felt awful - combine that with heat exhaustion & dehydration
On all adverts, especially in the shop there should be a written caution "not recommended for diabetics or clients who may have hypothyroidism.
I ordered a glass of water with ice & my favourite hot egg, mushroom & spinach bap.
The Costa version of a Spanish Latté reminded me of the Camper's coffee we drank on family caravan holidays in the 1960's.
When visiting Spanish towns & cities over the years, "cafe con leche" had a distinctively unique flavour without anything sweet added to it!
My experience with Costa's gift e-voucher
My experience with Costa's gift e-voucher service has been extremely disappointing.
The e-voucher was never delivered to the intended recipient. Despite submitting multiple enquiries through the online contact form and by email, I received no response from customer service. In effect, Costa accepted my payment but failed to provide the service purchased.
This is a serious failure in customer service and raises concerns about consumers' rights. I would not recommend using Costa's gift e-voucher service, as it can leave you in the embarrassing position of having a gift that never reaches the recipient, while also forcing you to spend unnecessary time and effort trying to resolve the issue.
What is particularly concerning is that even Costa staff in the coffee shops were unable to advise how to contact customer service or make a formal complaint. This level of support is unacceptable and has made the entire experience frustrating and stressful.
Costa Church St Liverpool going downhill…
I've been a regular at Costa Church Street Liverpool for 3 years. Always found the staff pleasant and the Americano to my taste.
However, the state of the disabled toilet has been poor to disgraceful for weeks now. NOT the staff's fault; their job is to serve FOOD, not clean toilets!
I had a good chat with manager(?) Charlotte and she told me how frustrating it was for them, as the response time for the maintenance people was far too slow.
Yesterday, the hand drier was not working so they had placed a large roll of hand towels on top of it (because when people pull paper out of the dispenser, it frequently tears, leaving you with useless portions of paper.
Someone had evidentaly broke the waste bin lid (makes it easier to dispose actually) and by now the bin was full to overflowing.
For some reason there is always a puddle of water under the wash basin, so we have water and torn paper on the floor.
The small flush of the toilet doesn't work (not uncommon though).
For a disabled person it's not a pleasant experience.
Bear in mind too, there is only one other toilet so many people resort to using this one. ALSO, this Costa is in a NEXT store, so there is probably a shared responsibility and maybe conflict here.
My friends & I went to Costa at the…
My friends & I went to Costa at the Airport retail Coventry, we ordered drinks and food, my tea cake arrived and was not eatable, I took it back and the assistant said she would make me other, I got no apologies, we later ordered another round of drinks and were told they could only provide takeout cups, this was 18:15, they don’t close until 19:00, we felt unwelcome, everything felt like an effort they didn’t even bother to put the Costa trademark pattern on the drinks, my friends and I visit Costa 2/3 times per week, this visit was very disappointing. I emailed the head office to complain only for it to be ignored, this brings me to the conclusion that if head office has this attitude no wonder the staff adopts the same, we haven’t been to a Costa since and we are not in a hurry to go back.
Costa Frenchgate Doncaster
Costa Frenchgate Doncaster.
Now£3.99for a flat white coffee which was not as strong as previously. My friend had a latte which looked like a glass of hot milk, again coffee content poor. Had to buy extra shot of coffee at 65p. Won’t be back. Greggs coffee much better at half the price.
We regularly visit Richmond branch
