Driver did not communicate before…

Driver did not communicate before moving day leaving us expecting them not to show up. I submitted a support ticket around this issue and was never contacted in return. The driver showed up early with a van that was bigger than we booked and made us pay extra for it in cash on the day or they would not take our belongings. The driver was rude throughout the day and we booked the drivers 11am-2pm. At 11:30 they told us they had another booking at 12 so needed to be quick. They proceeded to complain about being late to their other job even though it was within our booking time. They were reluctant to put the belongings in the rooms we wanted because they were running late and would hit traffic for the marathon even though this was all still within our booking time. Would not recommend and would instead pay more money to go elsewhere.

Received 2 out of 4 hours paid for due to driver was 2 hours late,

The driver was booked for 4 hours, from 12 to 4 PM. He arrived 2 hours late with minimal communication, which caused significant frustration as we had planned our day around this schedule.

We finished unloading by 4 PM, but not all of our items fit in the van. I would have liked a second trip to transport the rest.

I requested a refund due to the delay and was given only 10% of the fee, despite receiving roughly 50% of the service I paid for. I later learned that the driver was actually free after 4 PM and could have completed the full 4 hours of service. We were not informed of this at the time, and the driver left promptly after unloading our items at 4 PM.
Customer service did not check the details of our case in determining the refund amount.

Zero stars - didn’t provide service paid for (raised dispute with bank)

Zero stars. Please don’t use this third party to book your house move. They have no contact number first of all, which is a red flag, and email you back a load of nonsense when you try to communicate. I’ve had to raise a dispute with my bank for the transaction as I was not provided with the services I paid for. They then gaslight you via various customer service people on email and stop responding when you come with facts and ask them to provide evidence of what they claim they’ve provided services for as allegedly they were in contact with the driver and staff (that by the way didn’t turn up). Please don’t use them, save yourself the headache.

Response to comment from MvV: I’m very happy to provide you with the email chain communication I’ve had with your “customer service” team. Just tell me where to send it as so far I’ve corresponded with two different people to no avail. I’m still waiting for a response for an email sent on 14th April but as per usual I’ve been ignored as no one is willing to take any accountability just gaslight me and give zero response to anything.

Don't trust their reviews

Don't trust their reviews. I used a company with plenty of 5* ratings but they turned up 2 hours late and completely derailed my moving day. They've not offered me a chance to add a review to their profile so I've no way of adding this.

Quick and efficient

Driver arrived early and packed the van very efficiently. I thought we might have needed two hours but we were done in less than one hour! Will definitely book again next time I move :)

Unsatisfied

We were not sure if our stuff would fit a medium van though we accurately had put in all the details. We received the driver's number on the day of the move after two cancellations during previous day. We had booked it for a longer time hoping that if there was some stuff left behind we could go in for another trip at an additional cost (we were moving only 3 kms away). The driver called up in the morning to request an early pick up and we weren't ready. We requested for an additional trip if in case there might be some stuff behind (though unlikely). He refused to accommodate any additional trip, insisted he will get a larger van and we had to pay him 40£ extra for it. When the van came, it did not look like a large van (we had previously booked a medium van and looked exactly like that) , some bits and bobs were left behind which we had to book a taxi for and still pay him £40 pounds extra for the supposed large van. We are unhappy with the lack of transparency and lack of service. I did drop a message to the app about the additional trip and heard back nothing as well.

Worst company ever

Worst company ever! I booked, it was confirmed, (4 weeks before move), the driver changed when I checked a week later, then I checked 2 days before the move and no driver was listed. I was not informed of this, and it was only me asking which alerted the problem. I got an email cancelling the booking 36 hours or so before the moving date/time. Absolute panic! Trying to find someone else at such short notice was so stressful, as our moving date could not be changed.
So stressful. I would NOT recommend this company at all. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
