Very clunky and expensive service
Very clunky and expensive. Do not use this company. Go directly to Gov.uk for a basic DBS check for £21.50. This company charges £21.50 plus an additional £57 for the same thing and their customer service is near enough non-existant.

Over price
Over price, I received the wrong certificate clicked for Enhanced got basic approximate £116.000 charged with charges once you press a link there is no option to come out it automatically takes your money. I would not use again by choice

Please do not use this company. We used them to get a police report to get permanent residency in Canada as it was on gov website. It cost us a lot of money and time, they said it would be done in 2 weeks it took 3 months, in which we only had 1 week left to apply for PR. They did my husband’s first and they wereboth submitted together . Constant questioning and we answered same questions multiple times. Plus it’s certificate not even recognised by the Canadian government. Also they scam you and take money out your account every month and we have tried to stop it but somehow they keep taking it. Please DO NOT USE THEM

I would especially like to recognise Olivia for the exceptional support she gave me.
I had applied online for a basic DBS and unfortunately hadn’t fully understood the fees involved before completing the application. When I realised how much I was going to be charged, I was extremely worried and contacted customer service to see if anything could be done.
Olivia was incredibly kind, patient and understanding from the very beginning. She listened to my concerns without making me feel judged and took the time to explain everything clearly. More importantly, she went above and beyond on my behalf, even though this was not something they would normally consider.
Thanks to her effort and compassion, a refund was authorised, which honestly meant so much to me and was a huge relief.
It is very easy to leave a review when something goes wrong, but I think it is just as important to recognise someone when they genuinely make a difference. Olivia turned what had been a very stressful experience into a positive one through her kindness, professionalism and willingness to help.
Olivia, thank you so much for treating me like a person rather than just another customer. Your help genuinely made my day, and I really hope your management recognises what an asset you are to the team.

the company disguised themselves as a quick and efficient way to get a DBS check gone. its cost me a total of 116£ so far and I still dont have a DBS check. there are hidden costs, they sign you up to subscriptions. ive lost hours of time to try and work it through as well as still not having my documents. the cost of this process with government is £21. they over change, over promise and under delivery and have hidden causes which aren't made clear. a please beware.

I contacted the service by mistake about my own DBS application. I received a pleasant email back from Aakriti letting me know, and they added a link to the website that I actually needed. I really appreciated that they took the time to do that.

I contacted Aakriti and explained and he quickly cancelled my subscription and refunded my money. He was very efficient and showed great customer service. It would have been preferable not to be put in that position by Clear Check but luckily Aakriti helped me to resolve it
