I found this non-profit through 211 resources- they are a debt management program which helps to improve credit vs. debt consolidation or filing for bankruptcy which really negatively affects your credit.

Darci was the enrollment rep I worked with and she is amazing! Very knowledgeable, understanding, kind, patient (I had a lot of questions with multiple phone calls), and helped me though the initial process making feel comfortable with my decision and helped me problem solve with my individual situation.

I am newly enrolled and have yet to work with my assigned credit counselor (sad it’s not Darci!), but so far my experience has been positive! I definitely recommend this company to others who are looking to improve their credit, decrease their debt within a few years time, “consolidate” multiple credit card/loan payments into one and lower the monthly payment overall. This is the best option for me at this time in my life and I appreciate the exceptional service and opportunity to be a participant of the program.

We are so grateful to this company for negotiating with our creditor to reduce the interest being charged to one that was helpful in paying off the debt sooner. It would have been impossible to pay the debt off for a very long time and it would have been a burden on us. The people her are kind, helpful and always ready to listen and help.

Christian Credit Counselors were such a great help in helping me get my credit card debt paid off.

My advisors, Gino and Kelley, answered all my questions and really helped me as I ventured into uncharted waters. I'm definitely had some stupid questions, but they were patient and graceful with me. Now the real work starts but at least I have someone to walk along side us. This path doesn't magically get me out of debt but rather provides me a way to see a much brighter light at the end of a MUCH shorter tunnel. Don't wait. At first I was hesitant to do business with them because I have heard so many of these businesses that are not legit and even take advantage of their clients. But Christian Credit Counselors is a real, honest straightforward company. Neile Simon got me set up and never left me unguided. She led me every step of the way until I'm all accepted to the program. They are a great company!
