Very happy to buy m'y sons first car. Would Definately recommend them
We had a very disappointing experience with Cars Club Limited. We travelled 40 miles to view a blue Mini, reg WM14 NRF, for a pre-arranged appointment on the Sunday before the May Day bank holiday, only to find it parked behind other cars in a very tight space. The car was dusty and showed only around 8 miles of range, which was not a great first impression.
To be fair, we did appreciate the extended test drive, and we left a deposit after being told the brake pad warning and LED warning light on the dash would be fixed before collection. We arranged to pick the car up the following Saturday, but late on the Friday evening we were told the LED issue was still present, despite being assured earlier in the week that both the brakes and the light were fine.
We then waited another week, only to be told at 00:10 on the Saturday morning that the car had been tested and the warning had appeared again. In the end, we cancelled the sale and got our deposit back after two wasted weeks.
We also told them we had insured the car in anticipation of collecting it, and asked them as a gesture of goodwill to cover our £45 cancellation fee. That request was completely ignored. Overall, it felt like they overpromised, lacked attention to detail, and did not seem to know how to properly resolve the issues with the car. Customer service was poor throughout.
I’d advise anyone to save their time, money, and effort and buy elsewhere. Also be aware of the admin charge sign at the desk, which was not shown on Auto Trader, and don’t be misled by the suggestion that warranty only applies at the asking price. They are a dealer, so consumer rights still apply.
I strongly advise anyone considering buying from this dealership to stay away. My experience has been extremely negative and I feel it’s important to warn other customers before they go through the same.
The dealer sold me a vehicle without disclosing that it came from a salvage auction. This critical information was intentionally hidden during the sales process. To make matters worse, I later discovered signs of odometer tampering, which is both fraudulent and illegal. This is a clear violation of customer trust and safety.
When I raised concerns, I was met with excuses instead of accountability. Transparency and honesty are the bare minimum you should expect when making such a major purchase, and unfortunately this dealership has shown none of it. They are scammers and I'm planning to take legal action against these robbers.
If you value your hard-earned money and peace of mind, I strongly recommend that you avoid this dealer at all costs. There are many reputable dealers who are honest about a car’s history — sadly, this is not one of them.
Trust is the foundation of any sale, and unfortunately, this dealership has completely lost mine. All the very few good reviews in Google are being done by themselves.
This is dishonest, fraudulent, and dangerous. They take advantage of people’s trust and hard-earned money.
Do yourself a favour — do not buy from here. There are plenty of honest dealers out there, but this is definitely not one of them. Protect yourself and your money.
I was initially happy with the purchase of my Mercedes C180 from Jamil at Cars Club near Heathrow back in the summer but it transpires that I have been stitched up well and truly.
A friend pointed out to me a gap between the offside front wing and the front bumper a few weeks back when he was looking over my car. I actually hadn’t noticed it. Upon further investigation it seems a real botch job was done to disguise some sort of a prang the car must have had. The wing and the bumper are held together with woodscrews and the joins of both the wing and the bumper are full of cheap filler. I have now had quotes from several car body centres to get it fixed. To make good it requires a new front wing, a new front bumper and the paint and labour costs that go with that and the costs are ranging from £1750 to nearly £2200. Each one that has looked at it has raised their eyebrows and said they see it a lot. ie. cars made ‘good’ for sale. When asked whether the seller would have known about it the answer comes back as 100% ‘yes of course’ each time. Needless to say, had I known about this, I would categorically not have bought the car.
This is disgusting practice and I would suggest that potential buyers give this seller a very wide berth. Chances are if they’re doing it with one, they’re doing it with them all.
