I recently had my RAM 2500 serviced at a G Brothers dealership, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The service required the fuel filters to be replaced. However, after reading the invoice, which stated that the 24,000 Klm service was completed in accordance with the logbook, I noticed there was no mention of the fuel filters being replaced.
Upon ringing and enquiring about this omission, I was informed that they didn't have the parts in stock, so they didn't perform the replacement or inform me about it. This lack of communication was frustrating, especially since all parts are supposed to be ordered when the service is booked in advance.
I expressed my concern, emphasizing that the fuel filters needed to be replaced as directed in the service book, and I requested that they order the necessary parts. The service representative later called back to confirm that the parts had been ordered as a priority, and they scheduled me to bring the car back the following Tuesday.
Arriving at the dealership at 7:30 am as instructed, I was told that they only had one of the two filters in stock. I was assured that the second filter should arrive by mid-morning. Once again, I found myself waiting unnecessarily due to their lack of preparation.
This experience has left me with serious doubts about the quality and reliability of their service. I now wonder if the oil filter was replaced as well, and whether I would receive an honest answer if I inquired about it. The entire ordeal has eroded my confidence in this dealership, regrettably I will not be bringing my vehicle back there for future services.
