I had one of the worst customer service…

I had one of the worst customer service experiences at Carrefour. I accidentally purchased the wrong memory disk and returned the item in perfect condition the very next day, simply wanting to exchange it for a more expensive one. Despite this, the customer service team was completely unprofessional and unhelpful. They refused the exchange just because the item had already been purchased — no flexibility, no logic, and definitely no effort to assist.

What made it worse was the rude attitude of the staff, as if helping a customer was a burden. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially when I was willing to pay more for the right product.

Lulu Hypermarket, on the other hand, has always treated me with respect. Their return and exchange process is smooth, and the staff are polite and helpful. Honestly, Carrefour has a lot to learn from Lulu when it comes to customer service and return policies.

If you want to be treated fairly, avoid Carrefour and go to Lulu.

No customer awareness

I visited Carrefour IBN Battuta store with the view to purchase a hairdryer. This was easily afternoon. The sales assistant wa too busy issuing a hair straightener on her own hair and continued with her hair while I was standing alongside her looking at the dryers. I left and purchased the sage hairdryer from another store in the centre. Zero customer service.

Worst experience and it will be the…

Worst experience and it will be the last one with carrefour cause I will never buy anything from them ,, I bought upright a freezer and explained to the salesman it won’t fit in the lift , they assure me they will delivered the product throughout the stares.. one the day of the delivery,, they refused to bring it up .. suggested to either deliver to the reception or to contract delivery service on my own and take the whole risk if damage happened to it .. all they care about it to put the whole responsibility on me .. and called themselves as costumer services !!!!

I’m giving 0 star to carrefour as I have very bad experience with them, they sold me a rotten chicken with very stinky smell yesterday and when I spoke to the customer service they couldn’t solve the issue…i can't trust them anymore and this is last time i buy from their store

Awful experience with carefoure website i purchased a coffee machine don’t not exist while in the website shows it existing, i waited 7 days as per the schedule I followed with the customer service he told me that they will contact the department and get back to me and he told me the delivery with be at 8 or 10 pm time has passed till next day morning i have to follow again several times with no answer or action and I had to wait for the manager more than two hours to call while they told me she will call after two hours she called me with no action plan i have no idea how they put her manager as she share my contact information to the seller to speak to me in order to do her job while the only thing i want is my coffee machine she told me that there’s no inventory with the seller which is mean carrefore they care about profit not customer as they said and keep receiving orders with no inventory and she simply said even if you purchase you agreed to the terms and conditions that after purchase if there is no inventory or issue with a delivery we will refund, if i know i would go and purchase from non reliable place instead of them now i have to wait two weeks for my refund

Unexpected False Marketing

If I would be able to give 0 stars, i would! I ordered a dishwasher online, among 5 other kitchen appliances including fridge, washing machine, stove top, oven and hood! The dishwasher picture shown as silver and every other specs published / model all correct. But somewhere in the description they mention "white" as in the color is actually white , not silver like shown in the picture. They delivered it and because I was waiting for the kitchen furniture I didn't open it until I was ready with the overall renovation. Now I asked for a return or replacement and they're saying 1. no because it's more than 7 days after delivery (it's 10 days btw) and 2. you opened the package! HOW WOULD I know that it was a different color if i hadn't open the package?! Proper false marketing and horrible customer service and policies ! Unbelievable !!!

Very poor service

I don’t wanna give even one star,very bad experience.. i m really very sad,I oder mobile online 15 march i received 19 march and the mobile was used one, once i switch on mobile there is messages 4th and 5th march … it’s mean Mobile was used from India because there are India number… so how I can trust online ?? I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share my experience with a recent interaction I had with your customer service team. While I understand that customer service roles can be challenging, I was disappointed by the level of professionalism displayed during my conversation.

The representative I spoke with made me feel as though I was inconveniencing them, rather than being assisted as a valued customer. Their tone and approach came across as dismissive and unprofessional, which left me feeling frustrated and unheard. I believe that customer service interactions should be rooted in empathy and a willingness to help, and unfortunately, this was not my experience.

I share this feedback not out of frustration, but in the hope that it can be used to improve the quality of service for future customers. I have always believed in the value of your [product/service], and I trust that this experience does not reflect the standards your company strives to uphold.

I would appreciate it if this matter could be reviewed, and I hope that the representative receives the support or guidance they may need to handle similar situations more effectively in the future.

If I can give ZERO star I would

If I can give ZERO star I would. Customer Service is very poor. They lie about the manager as well. 1 agent said she is on break, then when I called again after few seconds to another agent she said the manager is on a meeting. They are sending me back and forth. We're going in circles. And they cut you off, not allowing you to finish speaking. All 3 agents even the manager does the same. Very disappointing. They cancelled my order and said the delivery team can't carry them, then he used ramadan as an excuse. Very Frustrating. Why would they allow me to place an order with those items and then later tell me they can't carry them to my address. This is annoying at it's finest!!!! Then when I checked my email, it says they can't find my address. When I already put a MAP PIN LOCATION plus the complete address with office number, building and area. So annoying. Even their APP is showing it's on the way with my pin location showing that they are going there. They wasted so much of my time. Took the money from our company account in 3 seconds, then they will refund in 3-10 business days. What a JOKE! When it's their fault for cancelling the order. Also their refunded only the items, they took the 3 AED service charge and did not refund it. WHAT A WASTE! Then they would tell me they will send the 3 AED to my sharepoints. SERIOUSLY????? YOU TOOK THE MONEY FROM OUR BANK, you're supposed to REFUND IT BACK TO THE SAME MODE OF PAYMENT!!!! The manager said she will fix it, and I got no update or notification that the 3 AED is back. Also, they gave me 200 sharepoints worth only 20 AED which can't pay for the inconvenience and the TIME WASTED. The manager even made me feel like I refused the compensation, when I NEVER SAID I DID NOT WANT IT. I said THAT'S NOT ENOUGH. Also the lady AGENT I spoke to is the RUDEST of them all. Carrefour should train their Customer support to be effective and professional at all cost. Because they represent the entire company. Or better not hire people who can't perform well in their role. They know that the customer is already upset, but then they add more fuel to the fire. NO EXTRA MILE at all. They will just say NO NO NO NO NO to everything. When it's the fault is on the company's side. This is ridiculous!!!!! ONE MORE THING, so I re ordered and to be delivered next day which is today, NOW IT'S SAYING 1 item is OUT OF STOCK! What the???????? Why would their app would even allow me to add to cart when it's OUT OF STOCK! They should've update the system REAL TIME. AGAIN this is a waste of time. THIS IS UNNACCEPTABLE!

I bought washing machine at Carryfour…

I bought washing machine at Carryfour deira city center, promise 2days delivery after purchase, then i call custoner service complaint why late, they cannot explain why. Then a third party call me they will delivery tomorrow? They agent is unprofessional to handle a customer care and just drop the call.
Is this how you treat your customer?

I don't understand what happened to…

I don't understand what happened to carrefour. I was once regular customer of carrefour where I shop in marina area. The big change now i feel about the staff in the supermarket. Before they were good for everything they look always happy but now I feel very unhappy face and not helpull. These staff was the same good staff before. I don't know why I used to shop regularly in 2-3 different carrefour at marina area what I'm shocked all of them behave the same. Why maybe the management issues I believe. This company not paying them well or decently?

Misleading Installation Offer – Hisense Washing Machine & Rude Customer Service

I recently ordered a Hisense Washing Machine through your app, and the product listing clearly stated that installation is free. However, when the delivery driver arrived, he informed me that he was only responsible for delivery. He provided me with a contact number from the receipt for installation assistance.

When I reached out, I was told that installation was not included, contradicting what was advertised. To clarify, I sent a screenshot of my purchase showing the free installation offer. Despite this, I was told that installation would cost 100 AED.

To make matters worse, when I contacted customer service, a representative named Saba was extremely unhelpful and abruptly ended the conversation without resolving the issue.

This experience has been very frustrating and misleading. I expect your company to honor the advertised free installation and provide a proper resolution.

Health Risk Danger - Market Clemenceau Reims - France

A simple order placed and delivered on March 11, 2025, via the Carrefour company website has revealed not only particularly questionable commercial practices but also a clear and imminent health risk, the existence of which has been duly reported to the Carrefour Market Clemenceau Reims.

In response to this situation, the conduct of Carrefour has been utterly reprehensible. In order to protect the health of my loved ones and to prevent any risk of poisoning, illness, or hospitalization, it was necessary to dispose of the entire delivery, as it was deemed unsafe for consumption.

I now join the growing number of consumers who are boycotting all companies that fail to uphold the fundamental rights of consumers. It is evident that, moving forward, I will be making my purchases from companies that respect their legal and ethical obligations.

I am still awaiting a response from their legal department and the management team, despite my repeated efforts to reach out.
