I bought a Beko dishwasher from Carrefour, and they delivered a damaged product. The delivery guy told me that if the item was damaged, I could call Carrefour customer service to replace it. He also showed me a blank column on his tablet and asked me to sign just to confirm I received the item, not that it was perfect.
After I called Carrefour customer service, they said I signed that the item was in perfect condition, so no replacement would be done. I explained what the delivery guy told me, but they refused to help.
I paid cash for this item, and now I’m stuck with a damaged dishwasher. This is very bad service from Carrefour. They should be more honest and take responsibility for damaged deliveries.

Many items don't have a detailed description, measurements, even brands names, no reviews, like Cooktop gas stoves for example..
An excuse is that it's from the 3rd party sellers, so even customer service representatives can't clarify any info and there's no any possibility to contact with a seller..

Most of the time we're totally satisfied with Carefour and food delivery service, friendly, responsible drivers but online shopping from the 3rd sellers really ruins the picture..
All detailed descriptions of any item, brand, dimensions, detailed photos, etc. should be mandatory for sellers and please add option of adding reviews of those products.

The delivery driver called me to confirm the location and mentioned that he was already going up to 1006. I told him that I would message the person at home to open the door and receive the order since I’m currently at work.
I placed the order earlier, and it arrived around 7:20 PM, which was good since it was delivered early. However, my companion informed me that the delivery boy was rude.
I just want to raise this concern and suggest that your drivers be properly trained to stay polite and respectful when delivering orders.

Incompetence in price tagging and empty deodorants on the shelves
I live in the UAE for the last 10 years and many things have changed in the past few years, especially the custom service. Today I discovered that in deodorant REXONA section there were many empty bottles. I went to the customer service and they blamed it on the factory. Didn’t really do much about it. And when we went to pay for the 4 deodorants we took, on the receipt we have noticed with my husband that we have paid for 7! So, the cashier told us to go to the customer service, where we received the cash back. So, to the residents of the UAE, watch out when you buy things. Check if the container is full, or emptied and check your receipt as well. It only takes few moments. Today it might be 35 AED, what if you pay like that each time you shop and dint check in the year perspective?

Horrible customer service! if you’re ordering online, better order from noon or elsewhere just spare yourself the nightmare of having to deal with carrefour customer service incase something goes wrong with your order cause most of the time, SOMETHING WILL GO WRONG.
Bad customer service and after sales service
I raised a complaint about a wrong invoice in one of carefour stores that is not my regular visited branch as it is far. Conplaint was placed on both watsapp and over the phone. Its been a month with no answer. I followed up and the agent answers: you want a fast response go to the branch! I have no other way to show how bad customer service is! No solution was provided. I gues i can consider myself robbed.
Decent grocery shopping
I often go to Carrefour for groceries and everyday items. The store has a big selection and good product quality. Sometimes it gets very crowded, especially in the evenings, and that makes the checkout take much longer than expected. I try to visit early in the day to avoid that. Prices aren’t the lowest, but the convenience and variety make it worth it. For basic shopping, it’s a solid option overall.

But every year the international range gets smaller and smaller……..which is a shame as the majority of the population is expat.

Today I had an experience. I visited your outlet in Madina Mall, Qusais, with my family to purchase a newborn baby’s dress. When we went to the dress section, there was no staff available. We waited for 20 minutes for someone to come. After that, I went to the customer service counter and requested them to send a staff member to the baby dress section. They sent someone who had no knowledge at all about that section.
I then asked to speak with the duty manager, and they told me the duty manager would come shortly. But no one came. When I asked for the duty manager’s contact number at the customer service counter, they said they could not provide it. Later, a Malayali staff member passed by and asked me what the issue was. When I explained, he told me that there were no newborn baby dresses there and suggested I go to another shop.
I told him this was not our first time shopping at Carrefour — we had purchased newborn baby dresses from there before. On hearing this, he challenged me to show him the newborn baby dresses from that section. I took some time, but I managed to show him exactly where the newborn baby dresses were located. After seeing this, he muttered something under his breath and went back into your store.
My question is: Why does such a large Carrefour outlet in Madina Mall operate without having enough staff? The staff there do not have any product knowledge, and they are diverting customers to other shops. Please, do not waste customers’ time. Assign enough staff to the sections, and it would be better if those staff members have proper product knowledge.

I placed an order for Nutella 825grm and Extra Large Eggs .. instead of Nutella received another Brand 2 bottles of 400grm and instead of Extra Large Eggs I received normal Eggs where 6 pcs were Brocken !
When I called to costumer care they told me to bring it back to any hypermarket which I refused, then they promised that they will collect it by currer and refund the money which NEVERE HAPPENED since 3 weeks.
Now they are telling that my complaint was late (after 8 days) considering that the assured me tow weeks back that they will resolve this issue!

I went to purchase a laptop in Mall of the Emirates on September 9, 2025, fresh, new and sealed. When I opened it at home there's a small particle inside the screen so what I did is I went to Sharjah City Center to inquire what to do with the item, because Sharjah City Center is only in front of my building, near and convenient. So I went there and talked to the costumer service lady, she called the manager Mr. Suraj and they both showing me an unwelcome presence, not helpful solution and asked and lecturing me what to do in my next purchase (using a bad tone). They let me put the item inside the box and left without a farewell, they left me very fast and for me it's insulting. So i went to the Mal of the Emirates again to consult the item, it only take a 30 mins to replace the item, very welcoming unlike in the Sharjah City Center Carrefour.

Worst online experience ever!
I placed an order online this morning, and the payment went through successfully. The delivery was scheduled for 4–6 PM, but after 6 PM I called to follow up, only to be told that my order would not be delivered because my area was supposedly 'out of the way.' This is the first time I’ve ever heard such a reason! I even paid a delivery fee, yet the order is being refused due to location. Extremely disappointing experience—this will definitely be my last order from you.
