Why has this company still got the contract for doing this. Very poor quality of service. Numerous times fail to turn up. When you ring same bland response.

Eventually are emptied both thrown over the footpath n drive with tins n plastics lying on ground
Ive complained to the kerbside box manager of ballymena area who told me he wid ring back the following morning but never bothered....managers dont care so how can we expect the crews to care....worst company ever!

Excessively poor, haven't been collected in weeks & have to regularly go gather recycling off the street in the poor weather as their teams haven't bothered collecting.

Bryson Recycling are simply not fit for purpose.

From start to finish, the service is a mess. Collections are completely unreliable, bins are never returned to the same place and are more often left outside a neighbour’s house than where they belong. When they are left, they’re rarely stacked properly — just dumped and forgotten about.

The bins themselves are far too small for any normal family household, making proper recycling almost impossible. Instead of encouraging people to recycle more, this system actively puts them off.

Bring back the old blue bins and recycling rates in this borough would skyrocket overnight. What Bryson Recycling are offering right now is a downgrade in every sense — worse service, worse organisation, and worse outcomes for residents and the environment.

Extremely disappointing from a company that’s supposed to be leading the way in waste and recycling.

A complete & utter disaster, from start to finish. If they spent half as much time on doing what they're supposed to [emptying bins], instead of being parked up in Tesco Newtownbreda, they might get the job done. As for Lisburn and Castlereagh Council, they're completely useless as well, for failing to do anything about the Bryson House random bin collection schedule.

Over the last half of 2024, the Bryson recycling truck has progressively got worse. Our collection was suppose to be every Thursday (Cumberland) but now if we are lucky the truck arrives late Friday, sometimes Saturdays and even sometimes Sundays. December 2025 has been really crap, my recylcing has not been collected fpr 3 weeks. Why can we the residents opt out of having Bryson and instead have the bue bins, clearly this service is not working.

They just don’t show up, when you email to find out if there is an alternative day nobody responds. They leave the rubbish all over the street then throw the boxes back into your driveway so the boxes are now in bits. The crew are rude I was told not to add any cardboard to my recycling as they won’t lift it. I’m ashamed to say it but I’ve stopped recycling there is no point it ends up in the bin anyway as they fail to collect it. The council should take a serious look at this contract!

Absolute joke of a company. Have failed to collect our recycling bins 4 times in the last 2 months. And trying to get it sorted through Antrim and Newtownabbey council is like trying to get blood out of a stone! And the fact you can’t call Bryson directly about it or speak to management is a disgrace!

Unfortunately, allegedly, there is an arrogant control freak at Llandrindod Recycling Site. From our first visit there my husband & I identified we were going to have to deal with what many would label a "Tough Worker Addressing Thousands'. Possibly the type of character who appears to enjoy bullying those he thinks won't challenge him & yet he appears so insecure the way to deal with him is to massage his over inflated ego. Yet despite our best attempts to follow the site protocol, tolerate his less than acceptable behaviour & buttering him up to avoid confrontation over the past three years, confrontation was unavoidable! Unavoidable, because in our judgement he lacks the ability to empathise, check his facts, use his discretion & be polite. Maybe this is due to what appears to be his delight in provoking others. What appears to be a sadistic pleasure in causing others upset, inconvenience or struggle. I state this because I don't think anyone who has a degree of decency would laugh at causing others unnecessary inconvenience or make a joke seeing an elderly gentleman lifting heavy rubble into a skip. Finally, he called the police to the dump to deal with us yesterday having failed to deal with a situation caused by Powys County Council making an admin error relating to a booking we had made the previous day. However, it was a complete waste of police time. Why? Because, in our opinion, he's sadistic desire to cause others misery and he's arrogant approach to not checking the facts led him to excitedly try to cause more inconvenience, misery & show us ,'who's boss' as the power of being head honcho at a dump seems to be his biggest life achievement which he seems thoroughly proud of but which we allege has gone to his head. However he thinks, in our opinion, he has 'God like' powers and is actually king of the universe! He is only someone who works at a rubbish site (no offence to anyone else who works at a rubbish site because I respect people for who they are not where they are or how much money they earn or what job they do). He didn't check his facts & wasted police time & resources, we think, ending up with egg on his face. Interestingly but predictably, he adapted his personality when it probably become crystal clear to him after finally checking his facts, that I had booked a walki in appointment and also in the presence of the local police. However, I never got any apology from him. Not for his very obvious error and not for accusing me falsely a fly tipping! I would request Bryson"s respond to this review addressing how they will make the experience of others visiting landrin.recycling centre more pleasant and less confrontational.

I worked for this company for 5 months and can honestly say that it is one of the best companies I ever worked for. The management is very efficient and treat employees with respect. The pay is Good and never missed a payment.

Requested caddy bags 4 weeks ago as the ones left were lying in garden wet and mucky. Kept tab on for the following week, nothing left again. Monday 14th they left one roll but took my red tag of the handle!i opened the door to a man in a rather large van and he handed me 3 rolls. We then noticed 4 rolls on the ground which obviously had been left prior to this but again all wet. He said they were low in stock and i offered to give him some back but he declined. I wrote to bryson recycling thanking them but the person who originally appeared helpful has ghosted me. Came home on the Thurs 17th to a caddy(which i didn’t request) and another 2 lots of bags in it. What a waste of resources, the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing🤦🏼‍♀️

Yet again Bryson has let me down everytime promising to correct the problems we have had yesterday 1/9/2024 a lorry came into our court Dunraven went to one recycling area drove out leaving 4 recycling areas ignored and that was the last time the have been in 3 months roughly which they did the same thing . Promises each time through emails it would be rectified , tell me do you not know how to manage your staff that they do as they wish its disgusting this time I will be getting in touch with press maybe you will answer to them without bs also I will go to councillors you talk about how you work to keep belfast green lip service why do you get paid ???

Would have given 0 or minus if I could , all the way from the centre in mallusk to the kirb side pick ups , absolutely useless , so crap can't even be bothered writing about it , just to let people know I wouldn't hire this company for the simplest of jobs.

Run the local recycling in Conwy. Make it difficult to use, booking system requires lots of personal information before you gain access.

Paid for another twelve months on 9th May '22. Now it is 18th May and still no stickers. So two days ago (16th) my garden waste was not collected. I complained to Bryson but got nowhere.

I signed up for a further twelve months and paid before the 19th of March but still not received brown bin stickers after two phone calls to Bryson and being promised them delivery by post. No stickers no service ????? This right ?????

So the Antrim and Newtownabbey councils outsourcing to Bryson has been a great success as the continually fine them as we must all be scum about here with contaminated recyclable materials with recyclable materials. My blue bin wasn't collected....last chance before Christmas as with a bit of digging found a plastic bag (number 4 recyclable) and have been informed of how careless I have been to let this into my bin.
Now the council has backed and defended their partners here and I'm sure we all suffer as rates go up for the dismissal service

Would of gave zero if possible, the guys try to get around as fast as they can, so they miss recycling boxes all the time, they lifted the cardboard of the top this time and left the box plus emptied one of my neighbours boxes and left the other, and if they do manage to empty the boxes, most of it goes on the road.
I rang and told them they missed my box again, was told they'll be out tomorrow to empty the box, still waiting. Pointless trying to recycle stuff when the workers are tools

Bought a bin in March and it’s never been emptied on the correct day yet!!! It needs to be seen said the woman on the phone but I live in a cul de sac so leaving it at the edge of the pavement is the furthest I can leave it out!! Awful service. Don’t bother.

Two brown bins arrived. Understandably two missed collection because of current situation.
Bins and 4 overspill green bags put outside yesterday but only the brown bins collected. This is ridiculous.
