Alan S at The Farrier, Harlaxton Road, Grantham was the perfect host. He dealt with all our needs, was friendly and made our visit a pleasure. We will return because of Alan.

Don't book continental breakfast with your Premier Inn booking, croissants are stale and no cappuccino or latte available, only instant coffee!!

We decided after a day out to treat ourselves to a carvery at the pirnhall inn. The beef and ham were good but the vegetables were cold and hard. Staff interaction not as good as we would expect from a hospitality venue.

Our under 16s football team stayed here and booked a team meal together. The team could not have been more supportive, sitting the team together and looking after them as they had their first meal together, independent of parents. In particular, Megan was really kind and helpful

Worst dining experience I have suffered in 60 years
Booked, as had a number of others, for a Sunday carvery.
This was Brewers Fayre Glastonbury.
Arrived on time and it wasn't particularly busy.
On checking in we were told they had no meat other than a frazzled small portion of gammon, (shoe leather more like)
They said there was more meat due out and would be 10 minutes but only gammon!
40 minutes later 2 very small gammon turned up!
They ran out of cauliflower cheese, the Yorkshire puddings had been under the hot pass for an age and were hard enough to use as cricket balls.
The sp called vegetable option was limp and carrots were black at the edges.
The roast potatoes that were out were worse than 2 day old aunt Bessie's
Mash potatoes had dried out and were virtually inedible.
Overall the food was old, stale cold and atrocious .
I have been in hospitality 25 years and have never encountered such a shambles as Brewers fayre Glastonbury
DO NOT RISK your fathers day meal at this place
As a footnote I said to the duty manager that it was no wonder they were closing in September and her reply was "so are lots of places"
Do the public a favour and close NOW and give the places that want to make the effort the business, as quithe frankly Brewers Fayre YOU JUST DONT DESERVE IT

We visited Bicester Brewers fayre on Saturday 6 June we were greeted by a very rude and miserable member of staff. We had booked with friends at the same table which we have done many times before, we ordered our food and were told that we could only use one voucher per party, we have every other time used our own voucher and they have used there’s. We spoke to a manager who said that it was their policy that it was one voucher per party, we read the terms and conditions and it doesn’t say anything about only one voucher per party. The manager said it was because too many vouchers are being used, so why do you get sent vouchers that you can’t even use if you go out with friends, if we had sat at separate tables we would have both used our vouchers, so one of us got the offer of one main meal free and the others didn’t, it really didn’t make sense, will we be going back that’s a no will we recommend you visit no.

Went into Brewers Fayre Kettering for a meal after spending a few hours at the nearby hospital. Not a good idea very rude staff and had a lasagna ended up after 3/4 hour it arrived with the salad on a hot plate.

We recently visited Brewers Fayre for the first timein Clarence pier southsea and my husband and were very happy with the results service was astounding staff was friendly and welcoming and food was absolutely fantastic on both times we went we went for dinner on th 40/05/2026 and then breakfast the next morning and was very happy with everything so I would definitely give them 5 stars and we will definitely be going back again thanku

Two of us went to Brewers Fayre in Newhaven, waiting for the ferry. The place was just cold, no heating on at all and the meal was not much better. I have written to Whitbread, owners of Brewers Fayre but no response. It is on my list of places not to eat in.

Haven't been to Afon Conwy for about three years. When we walked in we remembered why. Place looked dirty, no money spent on upkeep or maintenance. Tables were sticky from spilt food and drink. Windowsills looked like someone had used paint stripper on them and hadn't bothered to rinse it off. Menus were stuck together with spilt food and drink. It was gloomy in all eating areas and just need a damn good vacuum and a wipe down with a decent surface cleaner. Area at rear was fenced off so you had no choice but to sit in this depressing area.
Good was alright though, improved from last time.
Won't be going back again though.

Visited Bideford Brewers Fayre, a miserable experience staff unfriendly service chaotic the manager ( who refused to give his name) became agitated & defensive when offered feedback
There are plenty of other nearby eateries nearby

Absolute chaos . We visited BF in Bideford. On ordering we changed options at the till but still had the original rejected choice added to our bill. The lasagne when it came was (unasked for) vegetarian. When acknowledged this was incorrect the right beef lasagne was delivered with less garlic bread. A very lukewarm apology and none offered by the manager who saw what was happening. We were staying in the premier inn adjacent to BF so unfortunately our breakfast is here as well. The staff are not welcoming.
Further to my previous notes we spoke to the manager who blamed us for the mix up saying we had ordered 3meals!!! A totally obnoxious man who should not be customer facing.

We have been coming to Brewers Fare for years and also stayed at the Premier Inn and I can honestly say some of the best meals I've had.....there rump steak medium is amazing better than Millar and Carter and alot cheaper....
We will surely miss them when they close

Staff were pleasant and chips were good. We arrived at 2 pm only 6 people or so in.
Everything fine till I ordered meals, told no fish available, so I ordered an 8oz sirloin steak and impressed on the girl I was very particularl. Medium with no blood (rested properly) and no large run of grizzle.
The steak arrived more than well done, almost impossible to cut with a great big wedge of hard grizzle the full length. I called the manager over and accepted a replacement would be ok. However my Wife had managed to eat her meal and finish her wine with no sign of my steak.
I therefore asked for it to be refunded and not to use my 40% voucher, so I'd offered full price for my wife's, even though her flat bread was as cold as ice.
Manager said she had refunded me via my card but as yet only the full payment has been taken.
Don't offer steaks if you cannot cook them, absolutely terrible and Chef/Cook should be ashamed.

Went for lunch today the assistant manager David is so miserable and rude not just to us the manager manager Ben who we have seen on other occasions is also rude and doesn’t seem to worry about his customers however there are a couple of people who work there who are very good

The staff member was very rude as we haven't booked as we was staying at premier inn next door but unsure what time we would get there

The food was awful the carvery not worth it
When I asked a question she made a fuss about it
Well not be returning here

Went to Brewers Farye Castlewood Normanton
1st time going there and will be the last -
Over priced and the food very poor especially the masala curry , I recommend anyone to stay well clear of this at £11.99p it was so bad it was left there on the plate
After sending email to tell of our experience and the response back from Brewers Farye was disappointing to say the least - we just was given an apology and that’s all after spending our money and not eating there was no compassion what so ever.
I recommend anyone not to go there .

Shocking service, was at the premiere Inn next door for work, went to get breakfast the next morning as was supposed to be available from 6.30, only to be told it's not on today and had the door slammed in my face.... what an experience...

Visited the Howgate Brewers Fayre in Whitehaven at the weekend for lunch
Delicious hot tasty carvery , great choice of meats,vegetables and potatoes
Lovely staff very attentive despite being busy
