Very rude lady who kept us waiting and didn’t want to explain anything to us. Told me off for moving the chair, I’m not a child. I couldn’t hear her properly.
Rushed us out. Not impressed

I had an email saying I had an appointment for28th Oct at 9-15, I don’t!!!!have an appointment on 1st Nov at 9-30 to have my hearing aid fitted if approved so I havnt bought it yet. It’s very upsetting that you’ve got these things wrong and makes me wonder what sort of customer care I will be receiving when Iv actually bought and been fitted with a hearing aid . Very disappointed and apprehensive
Assistant was very understanding

Very happy with the service I received from Boots in Witham. The audiologist I saw was very helpful. Explained how the hearing aids worked and answered all my questions.
I’m appalled!!
I’m appalled!!
When I came to boots hearing care 3 years ago I could not fault the time a care your audiologist spent explaining and getting the right hearing aid for my hearing loss. It was exemplary.
I have no idea of the name of the audiologist yesterday but it was an unpleasant experience.
I had a problem with my left ear receiver it wasn’t working!!!
But she did all the usual checks and said it was!!
I felt like I was being treated as a child and fobed off, she had an extremely strong accent which any deaf person would struggle to understand and a very poor ‘bedside manner’.
It seemed to be an inconvenience for her to help!
I found her rude and dismissive, with little or no empathy for the deaf!
I have been deaf since the age of 4 and I have never been treated in this manner.
The left ear receiver, worked until the even ing and then it went off again and I haven’t been able to use it.
I’ve made another appointment for tomorrow hoping that the audiologist is either different or in a better frame of mind!
I do not like being called a liar and I do have some knowledge of what works and what doesn’t.
Hoping you give this your attention I feel sure there are other deaf souls that feel the same.

Disappointing
It was difficult to believe the person we saw was qualified in anything, least if all customer service. She first of all spoke toward the computer in a relatively mumbling voice (according to my ambled hearing husband) and her back to me, with no thought to the fact that she was speaking to a deaf person. When pointing this out, she then turned and spoke in a loud slow motion about a foot away from my face! During the first meeting I had a number of important questions I wanted ask, when I tried to speak, she held her hand up flat in front of me and said “be quiet, I’m speaking”. She then said my time was up and stood, opened the door and ushered us out if the room!! My second appointment was cancelled and put back several weeks. My second and third visit were equally as bad and the points about the hearing aids that needed sorting I felt were too many for such a poor service. It made me nervous about spending between £4000 and £5000 when I had such a poor service. I would have given it no stars if there had been an option to do so.
