TOTAL Scam

I paid my subscription membership for my son, and then not been able to get in contact with anyone. No response from the website, the phone number never goes through to anyone and my rep has never actually picked up the phone. Stay away at all costs. I would give 0 stars if I could

I was contacted by boom models at the beginning of February. Since then I’ve had 0 contact from them and it’s now almost May, I would like to know if there is anyway to help me with this because I’m a little confused.

Just started working with them, they are genuine and the staff is lovely!

I think they are reliable. I haven't worked with them yet, but they have amazing customer service and are ready to help. I hope working with Boom will fulfill my modeling dreams.

Started with boom 2 months ago, it was a slow start but I’ve finally completed my first job with tesco and I absolutely loved it. Hopefully jobs start to come in more quickly now I’ve got a little experience.

Been working with Megan at Boom Models for 6Months now and I’ve just completed my 8th job with them on the Matalan Spring Campaign, excited for new projects, no issues so far, excellent agency

Haven’t yet worked with them but I would applaud their amazing customer service. They’ve been really helpful during my experience and I can’t wait to see where this takes me!

Please do not touch this company, they are ruthless heartless scammers.

Their tricks are quite elaborate, but not hard to spot, they are tech savy and have a closed-loop online scam model, where they bring in for a photo shoot, a bit amateurish, shoddy studio , address is Thane Works, London N7 7NU for 30 min unprofessional photography, then they proceed to offer you work and contracts based on the shoot providing you sighn up with their so called online portfolio parting with good money, then 5hey chase you to sighn contractcclaimiing that people want to work with you through them.
, offering discounts on thier so called online package, providing that you pay upfront, they claim they work with M&S, Mango and the like, very surprising since thier underlying Steller promotions company hasn't
filed any accounts since it was founded very recently in 2022, they use psychological pressure, fb page and intagram presence that's just a front, don't be fooled, flattery and other tools to reel you in, insulting your intelligence. Never fooled me for one minute. Even as they rebrand,
names like booking studio and all the other names and aliases they go by, not genuine and wasting peoples' time and money without providing any genuine service.

Started with Boom in December didn’t get any work for the first 2 months but I’ve had 6 job offers and worked 3 shoots so far. I never even expected to go anywhere with this as I was completely new to the whole thing.

Scam. Though I'd gotten used to these so-called 'model agencies' calling me, after my photos were submitted by a company that I did a photoshoot with, and even though I read the reviews, against my own wisdom I decided to take a leap of faith and trust the woman who was calling me because she sounded genuine and caring. I was naive. They told me if I paid that weekend I could be submitted for upcoming work in January (this was end of December). They mentioned specific high street brands they'd submit me for. Of course I know there's no guarantee, but what I also know is, after I paid and submitted new photos for an online profile, I never heard from them again. I thought I'd give them a chance, the benefit of the doubt, and I've waited 3 months. Ive had the odd email - not really saying anything. And I've tried contacting them several times. It took several emails until they gave me the number again for the agent who had signed me (since I formatted my phone and lost it) and I've since called her twice with no response. I've had enough. Since they don't even use PayPal there's not even a way to appeal for my money back but I'm shocked by how so many fraud agencies get away with this. Isn't there some government legislation against it? If given a second chance, I wouldnt have given my number out to be passed on. Because even if you think you're strong and read reviews and try to be alert for scammers, they're deceitful and pressure you into paying the fee. They make it sound urgent.

I must say I am extremely disappointed by the service I have received from Boom Models. There has been barely any contact, not even to ask for updated photos or details of my son. With him being a baby there are constant changes in his looks and I would have thought Boom would me more on the ball with asking about his look and his clothing size but this has just not happened.

I feel like there was a lot of contact, boom has then taken my money and then nothing has come of it and nothing has been done to even put my son forward. I chose Boom over another company who were desperate for my son to join them and been left feeling taken for a bit of a mug. This company is not a good one and I will not be recommending them to anyone. Reading reviews it seems a lot of people feel the same way.

Boom models had contacted us after a promising photo shoot for my little boy, they said that there is lots of work they could arrange for him so because they sold it to us we went a head and signed a 2 your contract with them, after the sign up we have heard nothing from them! I tried contacting them many times and got no response. Absolute con! I told them we are a family on a low wage and struggling. we were trying to gather some money for our son for when hes older through modeling but to take from a struggling family knowing why they are doing this is absolutely disgusting and has put us off modeling agencies for good. Stay clear from these please because the heart ache they have cause our family is unforgivable.

Absolute waste of money, keep ringing at first and telling you loads of jobs they can put you forward for then you go ahead and as soon as you pay you never hear from them again!! Just a con! Don’t sign up with these!!

Sadly this is a scam. Don’t waste your time or money guys! Having stated on their website (which might I add is rather shoddy, look closely at their pixilated logo etc.) that Boom UK works with huge brands - when speaking with their advisor, it’s apparent that they don’t. I asked her to confirm if they genuinely work with these brands, to which she said they don’t advertise the clients they work with so where am I getting this false information from, when I replied ‘your website’, she said she doesn’t have anything to do with the website so can’t comment as to why they are false advertising.
As the conversation was getting uncomfortable, I was then told management would call me in 2 minutes to discuss my concerns (basically, because they wanted to get off the phone as quickly as possible). Not surprisingly, no one called and I received an automated email saying they were sorry to hear I was no longer interested in working with them. Just be really careful, I feel a bit spooked that I nearly put my son in this environment with a bunch of scammers. Do your research before going ahead and parting with any money. They have only been established a short amount of time and to say they work with all these huge brands is disingenuous, it can take years to sign a big brand so it’s all a bit suspicious. Stay safe guys!
