It was a family affair. We are so grateful to Michelle's patience and expertise in helping me find my pieces. Love that we have a showroom close to us! Definitely recommend Blue Nile in Paramus!

Not a good company to make expensive purchases from

First, it's hard to buy expensive bridal rings online. Customer service assured me I could try it and return it within 30 days. After a couple weeks I returned one ring and was told it showed heavy wear so the return was denied. How does a platinum ring show heavy wear in a couple of weeks? They also said there is prong wear- on a ring thats only a couple weeks old? Makes you wonder if they are shipping out used jewelry and then using that to deny returns. As an aside- the sapphires they use are really poor quality- dark and inky- not at all whats shown online which of course is non returnable due to engraving. But, my biggest issue is that I have zero trust in this company because their agents tell you one thing but they don't actually stand behind it. No one wants to look at their hand and be reminded of the shady company that made an important purchase gross. Well made platinum rings don't simply heavily wear from being on a finger a couple hours a day over a 2.5 week period. That's either terrible quality or terrible business practices. Update: was ultimately refunded but trust in this company is gone which is a bummer cause I would preferred an exact match for the 2nd 1 carat anniversary band.

Great experience overall

Great experience in the website, very complete and user-friendly. The delivery was earlier than expected and everything went well. The quality of the presentation and the ring (diamond and setting) was top notch. Excellent experience overall.

Good, unit it wasn't...

The purchase experience was traditional, fine. Shipping was quick. I was happy with the items I purchased for our anniversary. However, the bracelet I selected had a defect with the clasp. 2 days after giving it to my wife, the bracelet came undone and fell off her wrist during normal use. We backtracked for hours and never found it. Do better than me, make certain you read the reviews on the item you select!

Cheap quality for big money

Spent $4,500 on an engagement ring that had a socket twist up and out of place after only 3 months of wear. Extremely disappointed in a company that has such (unwarranted) good reviews. Take your money elsewhere!!!!! It's not worth the disappointment of poor quality or the cost they'll charge you to fix their mistake.

Needs more sizing options

Blue Nile is great, prices are fair, just tough for sizing. When you order a ring, knowing it will not fit, it is frustrating.
I ordered my wedding band (groom), and had went to multiple box stores to try on rings. I knew I was a 8.25 ring size.
Blue Nile does not carry quarter sizes, so it is difficult to know you are ordering something that needs to be resized.
Additionally, the style I selected was indicated as a ring that could not be resized by Blue Nile.
I did call and ask for a potential solution, but there was no clear solution.
Still a good experience, but I do now need to pay to have my ring resized, which can be frustrating.

Smily emeralds.

I had a great experience with Blue Nile. The shipping was incredibly fast—I received my ring within just 2 days of ordering.

The ring looks exactly like it did in the pictures, which is always a relief when buying jewelry online. The emeralds are absolutely beautiful and truly make me smile every time I look at them.
