Baby snacks removed

Came here with my family from Scotland baby included. Once we got to the doors to come in the guy told us no snacks allowed which we totally understand but the snacks were for the baby whom is 8 months old. The guy told us he was not allowed to take them in like are you kidding he’s a baby, we were told we would get the at the end. When we were leaving we asked the same guy for the snacks back as he said we could have them at the end and he refused to give the back and said he didn’t say that. To which I said you did say, when another member of staff stepped in and said your not allowed outside snacks I said I know that but this was for the baby and he said there’s lockers for that. To which the guy before hadn’t told us there were lockers and they could be put in there and we would have the back. The other guy that spoke to me mentioned your only allowed baby formula. SORRY my child is not formula fed and what about all other babies that are on solids, we bought a baby ticket of under 2 so you should know parents would bring snacks and food for their babies etc. why would I feed my baby crap from the fast food restaurants he’s a baby, absolutely shocking we travelled all that way we will not be back Absolutely disgusting taking snacks from a baby. Your new rule should be any under 2 tickets are allowed their own snacks and food….

Great rides but very expensive to eat......

The rides and really good and the day we went the ques weren't bad. Valhalla and the Grand national wasn't running which was disappointing. It seems Valhalla is never on after it's renovation.
There is places to eat but you definitely need to have money. The buffet is reasonably priced but the other places are terrible. £25 for 3 portions of chips and cheese and £4 for a small cola. Shocking prices. No need to charge that amount, they would get the custom as you aren't allowed to take your own food and drink in. Maybe something for them to look into. I mean you pay £3 for a bottle of water.

Dodge it like the plague, very let down!!!

LONG STORY SHORT
I visited the theme park an the 1 ride we wanted was off an it was main highlight of the day so it was last as we would of got soaked with a 90min drive home as we went specifically for my daughters big birthday as we had waited months! We emailed an were given 5 complimentary tickets for last season. We couldn't use them as I have major surgery ontop of things happening with the family. Which made it impossible to visit due to things going on. I emailed an explained that we couldn't visit an asked for them to be extended to this season as we missed out on a massive gift. As its unaffordable to visit otherwise so I meant a lot to me an my family. I rang to be spoken to like rubbish then I got an email that was rude aswell telling me its tough basically an no chance. As I can see the reviews BPB are getting lately an can't see a lot of people being happy about there visit. This makes me sad as its the 1 place me an my kids love to visit. It wouldn't of done any harm by extending them for this season yet I was spoken to like garbage. I must admit its shocked me that BPB are that vindictive to begrudge a family of that day off.... very disappointed as I go several times a year an the reviews are really off putting!!!🫣

Not accessible to all, high carer charges!!

After already purchasing a season pass for my disabled child we turn up to be told we now have to pay £25 per carer. My daughter is 2:1, So the extra £50 on top make future visits impossible. This should have been made known prior to the season passes being released. I have since been informed this decision was only made on the 1st of march 2026, so many people, like myself will have already purchased their seasons passes. It's a poor show Blackpool pleasure beach, especially after people were encouraged to buy the Access cards... I hope you appreciate how much money you will lose in the long run, So much for making our country accessible to all😢

Dirty, rusty and queue jumpers.

Went for the first opening of the season. Knew it would be busy but the lack of planning, queue management or even basic maintenance is staggering. Given the parks been shut all winter you would expect it to be on full form. However, the park was dirty, full of litter and a lot of rides covered in rust or bags of rubbish left out in the walkways. Queues were badly managed with plenty of open seats not filled, only one train per ride, queue jumping, lack of operators to get people onto the ride. Grotty with long queues and no theming whatsoever. Honestly, I feel bad for the people visiting this park. It was a joke today and a shambles of a theme park. Do better Blackpool. Pleasure it was not.

Desperate need of some TLC

Desperate need of some TLC. Staff miserable except one guy minding Infusion (when asked, it was his second to last shift!) Burger King (separate to park I know) needs serious attention, customer toilets upstairs literally stink! Customers wearing something across their face when entering to stop gagging. Last visit I’d say for us.

What a joke

What a joke! I had to pay £20 for entry even though I can't ride on anything. TWENTY QUID! It didn't give me any discounts or anything that I could ACTUALLY use. I was there with four other full paying adults and one child so it's not as though they didn't get money out of us. It was a cold and wet day and there wasn't one decent, warm and comfortable place to get a coffee or healthy snack. It was depressing seeing how far down the Pleasure Beach had gone. Everyone did enjoy the rides they went on but the queues were so long and the staff had all had a personality transplant. EXPENSIVE NONSENSE.

Poor organisation of the park and they expect you not to take own food in.

You cannot take your own food in the park, they expect you to leave your food in lockers (at the entrance). Never been to any other theme park / day out where you cannot take your own food in. They expect you to pay £8 for a locker.
Anyway, long story short, wasn’t happening. I argued, had young children who need snacks, also a child with additional needs who will only eat certain foods (and needs to eat when he needs to eat). Not practical to go from one end of the theme park to another to the £8 lockers.
Organisation of the park is pretty poor. The kids enjoyed it and got on all the rides they wanted to.
But if you have ever been to America and done universal / Disney you notice how the UK theme parks are miles behind.

Waste of £200

Visited yesterday and Wow! What a waste of money. It cost members of our party £20 just to enter the park with us, This itself is a total joke as you get absolutely nothing for this money.
We visited Nickelodeon Land which is still the same old rides we saw 13 years ago with our 4 yr old granddaughter now 17. It’s tired and run down and very outdated. Not many kids know who Dora the explorer or SpongeBob are anymore.
The rest of the park was just not worth the money. No money has been spent to upgrade the park and stalls and food outlets are a ridiculous price… £4.95 for 3 donuts… nearly £5 for a hot chocolate.
I would not return after we paid over £200 for 4 adults and 3 kids and two adults did not even ride.
Don’t waste your money.
Can I add that the staff at the park are absolutely amazing. So kind and helpful, such a shame that the rest is a let down

Top Notch 10/10

As a birthday treat, we visited the BPB last weekend. Unfortunately, but nothing to do with BPB, I became unwell and required medical assistance. The service I received from the staff at guest services and the medical team was excellent. ‘In particular, ‘Tom’ the medic was amazing. He very quickly ensured I received the correct medical attention and put me at ease with his calm but very professional manner. As a result of his quick intervention I am now on the road to a full recovery. Tom, if you read this, thank you very much again!

Spending only a very short time at BPB we were obviously disappointed but the staff at guest services saw fit to offer us a fantastic gesture of goodwill, which really helped getting over the disappointment of it all.

I’ve read a few reviews on TP which would suggest the staff at BPB fall below their expectations but I think they’re brilliant and doing a fantastic job. I have nothing but good and positive things to say about them.

I’d thoroughly recommend to all, that BPB is well worth a visit and excellent value for money!

10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Journey to hell ? Not a bad title to be fair

Last night went to the freak nights halloween event 7pm to 10pm . Got through security and was asked for a ticket .. showed digital ticket with barcode.. told need paper one and sent somewhere else to collect it. Stood in a massive cue as most people had brought digital version too, told there were none there had to wait for them to be brought which took about 10 minutes. Got almost to the front told they had none left and to just go back in with out ticket ..what a waste of 20 minutes of the only 3 hours and tickets were expensive. There were barely any rides open, we mainly went for valhalla that was shut too. and we cued for one the ghost train )for nearly 50 minutes in the rain. There were a few actors dressed up but it was nothing like what we expected. It seemed half arsed. Nothing was clearly signposted and we couldn't find the way out either. The best part was a 5 minute walk through called cabinet of curiosities all the actors were great. Altogether a rip off no wonder the park is losing customers

Gone downhill since last visit

I have been visiting Blackpool Pleasure Beach since I was a child and our last visit was 4 years ago. Since then the park seems to have massively gone down hill. Many of the rides weren’t open due to the weather (completely understandable as it’s October) but the park seems run down, dirty. Many of the staff operating the rides uninterested. They were so slow to fill the rides and then emptying them like they couldn’t really be bothered. Hugely disappointing and won’t make the trip up here to visit any time again soon.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Poor Customer Service

I purchased wristbands for myself and my partner, who is currently undergoing treatment for leukaemia. This was meant to be a special day out to lift his spirits. We also paid extra for the "free return" option, with the intention of visiting again at a later date.

When we tried to book the return visit, we were told our reference number didn’t exist. We followed up with a screenshot of the confirmation email to prove our purchase, but have been completely ignored since then. No response, no support, and no resolution.

We feel let down and out of pocket. It's incredibly disappointing, especially given the circumstances. To add to this, the park felt noticeably quieter than it was on our visit two years ago, which, sadly, now makes sense given the poor customer service we've experienced.

This is not how paying customers should be treated. We won’t be returning and will be choosing Alton Towers in the future, where we've consistently had respectful and professional service

What a joke

What a joke! Literally even big ride was closed yet they still charge you the same amount. Used to be the best park in the country now it’s a joke. I know businesses are struggling but when you’ve paid £200 for a family you expect some rides to be open. Current owners need to sell it invest and save it.

Lack of empathy

I visited Blackpool Pleasure Beach today hoping to enjoy the park, but the experience was extremely disappointing. I have a recognised disability and travelled from Scotland with my blue badge and proof of Adult Disability Payment, expecting to receive a disabled access pass as advertised. Instead, I was told to apply through Nimbus, which I had never heard of.

Despite showing valid proof, I spent over three hours queuing in pain only to be refused assistance. Staff were dismissive and offered no reasonable help or alternative, leaving me feeling humiliated and ignored. I left the park in severe discomfort with a swollen foot and no chance to enjoy the attractions.

For a major tourist destination, this lack of compassion and poor accessibility process is unacceptable. I would not recommend Blackpool Pleasure Beach to anyone who relies on disabled access or expects basic understanding and support.

My complaint is now in and I will not be accepting what happened to me today!!!

Absolutely great day out…

Went to the pleasure beach yesterday with two teenage children. Fantastic day out. Great rides, friendly staff. To me it looked up to date and really well looked after. Was worried after reading poor reviews but we loved it. Going back again soon.

My tirp to blackpool pleasure beach

OK rides first of icon is amazing ride 👌and launch pad definitely improved being one of the first to ride it when it was the PlayStation.

Not sure on valhalla again being old enough to go on it when it first it was amazing but now 70% dark ride seems a bit of a disappointment for anyone that remembers it when it was the og ride.

Now to my problems.

Going to go on big one and had a issue with passes now they guy at the scanner was to busy talking to someone but I scanned my group pass to get us in and couldn't get the the next person in so he came over and said something along the lines the as I scanned my card twice it cancelled it to my question why would that be a thing he took that as I was being funny then talking to me a grown 40 year old man like something he step on to which was the same response why are you talking to me like am a kid am 40 not having a 20 something talking to me that way.

He that pulled me and my daughter out the line leaving my daughter's friend in the line even though i kept repeating he left her stuck there he was then told me to stop trying to be a bigman after 5 minutes of dirty looks and snide remarks my daughter's friend joined us.

The next problem is the whole park is cashless now this is good for people that have banks and card but what about people that don't yes you can get a prepaid card but having taken 45 minutes to find out you can top up a card from guest service but then this card can only be used in certain places and can't get refunded on cash you have left no were did I once see any signs or anything when booking tickets this is something I think should be signs up in the main entrance this would of saved an hour of nothing and it can't be used at burger king as I found out after walking there twices.

I did email about the problems with the staff I got a free speed pass for one ride but this whole process has just put me off going blackpool pleasure beach again.

Also the ride wait time is not genuine it said it was a 10 minute for infusion but was an hour but most of them wasn't far off.

Horrendous

Horrendous. Way too packed and not good enough.

Security on the door wouldn’t let us take our kids food in or his drink because it’s not allowed? My kid is autistic and only eats specific food. We were forced to buy a locker for £10 to store the food in and leave the park when he wanted to eat. It cost us over £150 for a family of 4, and from 10am - 5pm we managed to get on THREE rides. Hour and 45 mins - 2 hours queue per ride. They let in an extortionate amount of people. Most of them are foreign or immigrants littering, being destructive and generally rude. They don’t fit in with western society. Totally ruined a family day out. The prices are absolutely astronomical for the poor park, lack of rides for kids, security staff only there to prevent you taking food and drink into the park and not to stop the people abusing others in the park. Never saw 1 security guard in the park since the entrance, really shocking. I’m in two minds on wether to charge back to my bank and make a complaint it was that bad of an experience which is a shame I came here all the time as a kid but it’s poorly ran, loads of rides out of order, 2 hour queues for a kids ride, ridiculously expensive for food and drink inside (2 cornettos and a can of coke was £14!) full of migrants, litter everywhere. I won’t be bringing the family back here & I’ll be charging the bank back.
