Experience was very good, i was looking to purchase and take away a mattress same day, the salesman Harry was very knowledgeable, professional and absolute credit to the company. He went above and beyond what was expected of him. If this is how you regularly deal with customers i will definitely be back for my next mattress or bed. Absolute pleasure, Thank you

After spending over £2000 on a bed and eagerly awaiting its arrival I was left very disappointed as the bed divan base and headboard would not fit correctly together as the struts were the wrong length . I contacted the store and the employee stated this was an ongoing problem that he was aware had happened before and assumed had been rectified years ago so they supplied me with two more taken of another bed in store that I had to go and collect . Alas these were not correct and of a thicker gauge wood so the bolts supplied were not quite long enough. This process started on may 6th 2025 and is still unresolved. I only require the correct struts or bigger bolts and after umpteen emails bensons seems to of dismissed the matter . So I’m left with a £2000 bed that’s still in bits . The Headboard was over £400 and an absolute shambles .
Be very very wary of this company and its poor quality products and time wasting “customer service ability”.
I will never buy from again ! Do not be fooled by their bed care kit .

The executive in the shop, Henry, is very helpful. I was looking for a sofa bed. He gave detail information among different beds available and the bed care guard kit. I am happy with the shop experience.

Absolutely had a nice shopping experience for our mattress and bed. As soon as me and my partner went in, we were greeted by Henry, and he was dedicated to help us find the best mattress. He thoroughly went to each intricate details about the different styles of mattresses and hardness levels. Also, he was also quite complete with his recommendations across all the lineup. Thanks Henry for all the help!

Terrible customer service from a recent purchase at the Cambridge store. We were misled when purchasing our mattress, by the assistant manager, they have no duty of care to their customers....all they could offer was to 'join the queue' of other unsatisfied customers and contact Customer Services. They were extremely keen to help when purchasing but there is zero after care. Absolutely appalling.... don't fall for it.

And then they insult you by responding with a generic apology and false promises.....

This has been a truly awful experience with Bensons as soon as we handed over our money (nearly £4k). I would actively urge people not to shop here based on such an awful experience. Our items took way longer (months) to be delivered than originally told and arrived in multiple different batches, severely disrupted mine and my partners' work (because we had to take holiday or work from home on several days which is infeasible in our jobs). One set of deliverers dented our walls and didn't mention this before they left, as well as turning up hours earlier than stated which meant I was distracted throughout an important work presentation. Changes to deliveries happened at short notice, a day before. The final delivery (this one to deliver the headboard) only happened because the headboard got damaged before being delivered the 1st time around, meaning yet another delay. Customer services are apathetic, and dismissive after you manage to get through to them (which took nearly an hour).

And it was genuinely jarring that the customer service is so friendly in store before they have your money and then so truly dreadful once you've paid. I don't usually write reviews for things, but this experience has been such a bad one I felt I should to avoid others having similar problems.

The store manager at Bensons for Beds at Cambridge was very helpful and helped me reach the best choice for my son's mattress.

Mattress ordered for delivery but not loaded on van. Waited at home for delivery mid afternoon, phone call received just prior to delivery slot to state mattress not loaded. Delivery has been rearranged for a week later without consultation and not convenient. We will cancel the order and purchase elsewhere. Staff at branch in Cambridge not helpful.

Chap that served us was patient , polite , not pushy at all and knew his products inside out , was so impressed . He even knew his competitions tactics which he explained pros and cons without disrespect to them . So pleased I went in the shop , I don’t know his name but he is sort of man you would welcome as a friend . Whatever he is paid isn’t enough as he is an ambassador for bensons beds . I will definitely use this store again . Thank u

Excellent customer care and service, wonderful staff who literally could not do more to help, especially Henry but manager and the lady working in store on 15th and 16th also very helpful. Would definitely go back to make further purchases.

Excellent customer service.
On both visits we made, the staff were attentive but not pushy. There was plenty of choice in the store.
We bought a bed, headboard and mattress of great quality for a really good price after some negotiation.
Would not hesitate to recommend.

Returning customer. Happy in past when everything is good BUT was delivered a £2.4k mattress which was very different to the one in store and unbelievably uncomfortable. Bensons for Beds 40 night guarantee is worthless. You'll lose 10% of the value of the mattress, will not receive the difference if next one is cheaper, plus collection and delivery costs. Its win/win for them and does not protect you. We've had to buy a topper (from elsewhere) to make the mattress bareable. Manufacturer of the mattress was equally hopeless.
Once they've got your money, they just don't care.

I was allowed to wonder around and try the bed without interference which I really appreciated. Then when I needed advice someone was available to help.
