Good catalogue, great support service but... the website is horrible ! no ergonomic improvements in the 14 years I have been a customer, it's slow, heavy, searching something is painful.

Unusably slow!!!

Beatport used to be quite good, getting into the DJ thing again a few years later but seriously the website is just pure rubbish! Can't seem to play music for longer than 15secs before is pauses for 20secs, takes up to a minute to load a track, just unusable, cannot get a feel for music with all of the waiting and interruptions, over it! Beatport sucks, they have really screwed it up and currently looking for alternatives. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE if you require a stable and reasonable working website. Drives me MENTAL!

Horrible, just atrociously bad!

I've tried every concievable DJ streamin service outhere and this was BY FAR, one of THE WORSE experiences i've ever had with a site/company/on-line provider etc. This site is a genuine nightmare. Painfully slow, full of buggs, freezes all the time, GUI is terrible, clunky and full of useless banners, menus are really cumbersome. For a company that's supposed to be at the forefront of DJ's streaming platform, and for the money they charge, their total lack of consideration and interest towards their user's exeperience is quite literally disgusting at the very least.
They sleep on their monopoly in the business and just ripp off people, and seem to get away with it.
F you, i'm sticking to Apple Music!

pure pain, don't wast your time

Poor user experience on site, search is the slowest thing imaginable, cant log in with email as username - has to be forgotten username, doesnt remember you even if you click 'remember me' when logging in.

To top it off cant re-download a purchased track after 48hrs unless you sign up to their subscription.

Alternatives (Juno download, bandcamp) are better. I moved from Juno as the player pops out in a new window which was annoying but it doesnt even begin to compare with the pain of using this site. Its 2023 and this site loads like its 1995.

Cant redownload

Cant redownload, site is insanely slow and there are bugs non stop, give yourself a break and don´t use Beatport. Believe me, you'd better be off making the music youself. Or go do some gardening. Don't use Beatport.

Recently subscribed to beatport and on…

Recently subscribed to beatport and on the whole not really impressed. Firstly i subbed to a £14.99 per month sub and my first payment has come out at £17.99 which makes no sense. The app is reasonable but not great. Quite slow and clunky and pretty limited. The sound quality of the tracks seem to differ and finding a lot of tracks are not full mixes like they have being ripped from somewhere else. Haven't really used the website much but I've heard that also has it issues. I'm cancelling my subscription mainly because of the price im being charged and reached put to customer support and yet to hear anything.

Complete joke of a site

Complete joke of a site, you can't re download tracks that have been previously bought and paid for, also had several instances of buying tracks and it being completely the wrong tune.
Customer service is as much use as an ash tray on a motorbike.
In short, yet another money grabbing organisation, who don't give a monkeys about the customer or music .
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE !!!! GET OUT OF OUR INDUSTRY

Can't Redownload + Some Tracks Missing

You can't re-download tracks you PAID FOR unless you pay an additional subscription. Not only that, some tracks I wanted to re-download were unavailable for download even though some of them I was able to find the same track available under another album or release. Seems like shady business practices to me. Lastly, if you have a large library you want to re-download, you can really only do it one page of 20 tracks at a time, otherwise the site derps if you attempt more and you might not actually be downloading your entire library even though you think that you are.

Beatport could not make a worse…

Beatport could not make a worse experience if they tried. Unfortunately me and other DJS end up coming back sometimes if other places don't have the track we are after. It is a frustrating experience every time. Making me log in twice every-time and never keeping me signed in even after clicking the keep signed in button. Login once at main screen, then go to add something to my cart and it makes me sign in again. This is after waiting 5 minutes for the page to load compared to 2 seconds like traxsource. Get your sh** together beatport, this has been happening for years

SLOW. CLUNKY. Miserable Design.

I get emails for specifics such as remixed but the link doesn't go to that page and I cannot search for it either.
The site is very, very slow, it's like constipated.
The other day I was 30 minutes from going live when half my playlist - tagged, hot cued - failed to load one track after the other. I had to cancel the show as there was too little time to work another playlist. It's non'profit so there are no funds for a more expensive sub which would include an offline locker. It's already expensive anyway!
I am looking at alternatives but to be honest, there's not much competition and there are few places you can buy and download fresh new EDM, Trance, Nu Disco and House. It's incredable how the industry is forcing the streaming model onto the consumer and the likes of Beatport will give in to big label demand eventually.

The site is too slow

The site is too slow

They really need to optimise their code to make the loading of pages faster. An initial search for an album can take up to 10 seconds to load. That's very poor for a site that's been in the game for this long.

Beatport is inadequate

Beatport is just so amateur. Sorry, but nothing works correctly on that platform. + Unable to set up or just "claim" my profile artist, it just doesn't work. Have tried to contact support from Beatport and guess what: no replies at all. How unprofessional can a music platform be, I just don't get it.

Why does no one respond to messages?!?!

I've tried contacting every email address, but no one replies. I've been trying to cancel my subscription for months but the website won't allow you to do it, so now they're just bleeding my bank account and ignoring my messages.

Beatport is a joke

Beatport is a joke, seriously, get your music elsewhere. Unfriendly interface and loads of features that could be improved over the years but haven’t been. My biggest issue is that it literally crashes my browser. It happened to me before but for some reason I decided to buy off them again. 21 tracks, selecting „download all” and guess what, 21 windows starting to pop up on me, instead of one folder, had to click each and everyone of them whilst other kept showing and after everything was completed I couldn't do anything with my computer, just had to hard reset it. Couldn’t close the browser, couldnt restart it normally, again! What an absolute joke.

Awful website

Awful website. The ‘My Beatport’ links don’t work. No matter artists or titles you click, it takes you to an endless chronological list of unrelated recent releases. I’ve asked them how to resolve this on twitter, but they haven’t bothered to respond. I’ve spent a fortune in this site in the past 10 or so years, but who cares eh?
It’s also overwhelmed with in your face marketing, that reappears no matter how many times you click ‘don’t ask me again’. Finally, and most frustrating of all, is the time it takes for each track to start playing when you try to preview anything. Rubbish.
