Take your money and then not get access to the service you paid for, contact Customer support nothing not a great company took two days for customer support to contact me and never realised I had cancelled my subscription

I offered to sell the soundbank I created to beatport. After watching the long and explicit demo video I made they were very interested until I politely refused to send the soundbank for a vague "reviewing" reason. Then no answer. I thought better safe than sorry, they could just robb me very easily. Now that I see all the bad reviews on trustpilot I'm happy I made that decision

unlike other download music stores online, Beatport goes out of its way to displease its customers by charging outrageous prices of music downloads and monthly streaming subscription plans. Furthermore, I have yet to find an online store that didn't allow you to re-download your purchases indefinitely. Beatport only allows you to download your purchase once or twice. After that you either need to buy that same track again or subscribe to some streaming service that you didn't need and that is at the top tier and outrageously priced. I honestly wonder how in the world this outfit has not gone out of business.

It's about one year since I subscribed to the Hype plan and I NEVER SEEN a single act from Beatport to promote my music: no banner, no charts, no staff picks, nothing.
My music is not so bad and if promoted gives me good results, so... what are we paying for??

Beatport is the best place for DJs to find the newest and hottest tracks. They have playlists and charts that help a lot, and the music sounds really good. There's a ton of music on the site, and it's organized well. Thank you!

Your service although has improved a bit is still blind to what dis are looking for. The content you are putting out in front for everyone to see Is a piece of crap ! Whoever is selecting these tracks must be freaking high and even then I wouldn't want to listen to that crap. I hope you will take a second to listen cause the reason we come and shop in your store is not for the "hype" or best new August or whatever we come because we have already exhausted resources finding what we want and use your store to purchase it. You are not responsible for the popularity of the crappy music you put out as new and hot ...all of the that is just you trying to shove mediocre tracks down our throats . I find better content reading and checking out the charts .. by the way the way you changed navigating thru the Maze you have created even worse than before for the artists we have chosen as our favs ? what the hell happened here ? ! seems like you are just interested in placing those labels which rub your back or you own...so crapy and yet you probably pay for contented space and promise to release first . Such a shady crappy site. I shop here out of necessity not choice !

There is always a problem with downloads or payment. Especially with downloads, once again problems after purchasing a lot of tracks. Many mp3 downloads failed, after some attempts I can't even try again (the files appear in my collection and it is impossibile to try to download them again!). Yesterday I wrote to customer support still no answer from them. This is almost a scam, it is just a download, a download MUST BE IMMEDIATE by definition, I'm not buying/ordering a CD or a vinyl, if you can't provide a simple download service (which is unbelievable for a company like this!!) you specify that before payment, like "the music you pay for may be available for download in days." and the customer decides if download the same track from another website in the moment he pays for it. Last time I use this platform, from now on I will buy my music from other platforms.

When going to my Downloads section Nothing there
Beatport have taken my Cash
Over 4 days raised 10 support Tickets with their so called support center with not one single reply,
Just note saying takes 48 hours for response.
Can not believe this company can be allowed to operate like this.
Next stop Trading Standards and contact bank to claim back my Money.

Beatport has gone from being a relatively decent and useful platform to a poorly managed, greedy enterprise that clearly doesn't listen to, or give a **** about its customers. Between the dreadful 'upgrade' of an already terrible user interface, to increasing the price of tracks to the point that they're now beyond garnering interest or investment. This started with having to pay to download your own purchase history and went from bad to worse. This platform is done for me. If I can't get it on Bandcamp or Amazon (both of whom retain free access to your own purchased back catalogue), I'll simply move onto some other producer and platform that works. I say this as someone who would have spent a considerable amount every month at Beatport, however no more.

Everything used to work just fine. Now Missing tracks from shopping folder I took months to assemble just vanished Serous djs find alternative, more reliable sites. Beatport.com just died.

I am tempted to give 1-star, because of totally unmonitored website for years. bunch of functionalities have been broken, I have reported all support persons multiple times for about 10+ bugs, and they never ever fixed even simple things. Re-authorization issue for years unfixed. totally ignorant service to users needs

Beatport is without doubt the most important place for DJ's to discover and get the hottest and latest tracks, the curated playlists and charts are a great guide the quality of the audio is excellent, yes the search speed could be quicker but I get that the site is huge and has a tremendous amount of music which is actually very well organised. I have just subscribed to their streaming service too that works well with Traktor - thanks guys! AAAA++++

The site has always been sluggish, but since recent updates, this has worsened tenfold.
Links are broken, or inactive and there seems to be loads of coding issues. 106 errors, 28 warnings on one page alone.
It takes several minutes for a single page to load, and tracks don't play when clicked.
I can't even access my shopping cart to make a purchase.
It is almost completely unusable. I consider the site, broken and in need of urgent repair. As a subscriber, I am considering putting my money elsewhere. I am not getting anywhere near value for money.

Crappy and shady business.

They need to change their system that is running the hype services. Every week they are constantly duplicating same releases for sometimes more than 3 weeks. Hype seem like a scam for low budget labels that are just trying to get some recognition. Please fix this issue!

I see nothing has changed with the site in terms of how it runs. Still very slow with my library not loading right away, which causes the site to freeze until it does. Now trying to buy tracks are a game of 50/50. I can buy tracks some times and the other times my transaction is declined.

I bought a song. And everything was fine without problems.

I think the bad reviews are because of who subscribes.

In my opinion, if you only want to buy a few songs, especially through PayPal, I don't think there are any problems.

Literally the worst service ever.

Even though I cancelled 30-days trial subscription on the first day when I subscribed with the website, they still charged me through Paypal after a month.

Obviously, no contact from them when asked wagwan.

DO NOT USE!

This website, is in cahoots, with a distribution label, by the name of Octiive/IIP-DDS. The label is a scam, and BeatPort, feels as if, they can keep every dollar, of an artist's revenue, after providing much proof, of a fraudulent music label. I've contacted them using legal(at)beatport.com email address, and no reply. I reported them to the BBB, and now their tryna play nice, but still no resolution.
